Food is really good. I had the chilaquiles the first time i ate there. The second time I had the pozole. Both were a good size plates well served, really good flavor and prices are affordable. The cafe the olla is really good and they have refills. Service is great, all servers are really nice, and they ask often if you need anything or refills. The owner is really nice , he makes sure you are well served. Ambience place is colorful, Mexican theme, open, clean. I like the place and they have a lady that will sing and play any of your favorite songs. I really recommend this place.

First time at this restaurant. I'm an early riser, so it's hard to find good restaurants open early. This place opens at 8am! Service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and made suggestions. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos and my husband ordered the huevos rancheros. Both dishes were plated with beans, home potatoes, a chile "toreado" AND a quesadilla! My husband's also came with tortillas. First of all, the chilaquiles were crunchy and delicious! The red sauce is tasty and not spicy! The beans taste homemade and NO LARD! The quesadillas are filled with Mexican cheese, tasted like machengo cheese and seriously the tortilla was a little crunchy which made it even nicer with a little crunch. However the star on my plate were the potatoes! And for the record, I'm not a big fan of potatoes. Most places under season or under cook them, but these potatoes are PERFECT! They are covered in a savory tomato base salsa that's rich and peppery. I can't explain it, but please try them when you visit. For drinks we had cafe de olla and a chamomile tea. Love that they have these too options. We don't live in the area but will be making the trip to go back!

We had a really pleasant experience in our first of many visits we will be making. We walked in and were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff. The decor and ambience made us feel like we were visiting family in Mexico, and the food tasted homemade! We each ordered orange juice with our breakfast and were pleasantly surprised it was freshly squeezed, adding to the homemade taste of our breakfast. We had the chilaquiles rojos and costillitas de puerco en salsa roja.

Came here on a Saturday morning for our first time. The place is a little hole in the wall but they offered great service and amazing authentic Mexican food. The cafe de la olla was delicious.! The pozole was sooo tasty.

Food is very good and portions are very generous. El agua de pepino/limon con chia is so fresh and tasty. It doesn't taste machine-ish it tastes freshly hand made. The green chilaquiles were spicy, tasty and satisfying. The pancakes are def better than ihop and dennys. The male server was very nice too. I love that they have GRADE A which means The restaurant is clean, up to code, and free of violations, seeing that makes the place more inviting. Went in for Mother's Day with the family. They had karaoke so it was extra fun. The plates are served generously. I ordered the costillas and chile relleno plate. It was delicioso! Will be returning very soon

If your on a budget or wanting something quick and easy I can recommend this place a thousand percent the staff are so friendly and the restaurant is always clean and the workers make you feel at home and treat you like family. I've been here so many times and the food never gets old and always taste so home made and great. The ambience is so nice and you don't feel cramped or stuffy and your always treated with respect and I can say this is one of bell's hidden gems, such a small city and yet rare places like this that are so great. Si tiene un presupuesto limitado o desea algo rápido y fácil, puedo recomendar este lugar al mil por ciento, el personal es muy amable y el restaurante siempre está limpio y los trabajadores lo hacen sentir como en casa y lo tratan como a una familia. He estado aquí tantas veces y la comida nunca pasa de moda y siempre sabe tan casera y excelente. Second time here and highly recommended from the first time. Had the molcajete for two. Generous portions and had lots of leftovers. Had chicken breast, carne asada, chorizo and shrimps. It was drenched in a nice molten medium hot salsa. Side of beans and rice was great. Server was very sweet and gracious. Had the mole today. It was awesome!! The chicken was cooked to fall off the bone. In addition, the mole has the taste of chicken cooked in it. It's not just put on top. Please come over and keep this restaurant busy. This place is delicious! Just tried it today and had to write a review. Ordered the asada burrito with everything (beans, onion, cilantro, salsa roja) except rice... wow, it was fantastic. Also tried the horchata. It wasn't too sweet, perfectly balanced. They have a lot to choose from on their menu, including menudo and pozole. The service was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back! They take card and cash. read more

Delicious fresh waters: I recommend the Cucumber with Chia seeds or Pineapple. Red and green chilaquiles are good but not spicy. They serve you a grilled jalapeño though. Great customer service, they were super friendly and service was fast too. read more

Mom and I went to eat here around 2:30 pm we ordered soup for my mom who just went to the dentist. I was super hungry and excited to try this place that has high ratings!! Well I order green Chile pork that the lady recommend that had a Chile rellano due to didn't have any of the seafood I wanted. I also a cucumber lime drink. The food was salty and the drink to sweet. Fly's and other bugs flying around. I haven't eat everything they forgot the Chile rellano on the plate then my stomach started to ache!!!! Yup this how I know never to come back !!!! So sad I have really never had to give low ratings but it was not good. read more

I was in the area of bell yesterday, and I saw this restaurant, so I wanna give it a try, a soon I enter the place I was told to sit wherever I like, so I did, the waitress offered something to drink, when our drinks arrived we order right away, we order huevos with chorizo and Chile verde plate, I am a fan of Chile verde so I was expecting to be good. I went to the bathroom they only have one, at least that's what I saw, was ok not spotless but ok, in general restaurant was clean, great atmosphere, here comes the worse, I waited for 30mins for my order to arrive, me and my companion were looking at each other like, why is taking forever, the waitress didn't stop by our table to let us know what's going on or even if we needed anything, so I get up and ask one of the kitchen members why my order was taking so long, come on it's just huevos with chorizo and Chile verde!!!! So finally my food arrive, just to my surprise!!!!!the portion of the Chile verde was unacceptable, very little pieces of meat, to be honest I was very disappointed, I normally go to SABROSADA to get my Chile verde and the portions are just perfect, but this was very disappointing. 30mins waiting for my meal and when I get it I got this????? The food was ok, but I would never comeback at this location!!! read more

Established in 2020.

This restaurant is a dream among two life long friends from different parts of Mexico one in Guerro and one from Tapatío met here in California and ventured together on opening this restaurant. Both have many years in the restaurant business cooking at home for family and friends. Antonio Langstaff and Ramon Ruiz congratulations on your journey. Yes we are very LGBT community oriented.

For us, that's El Ranchito in Huntington Park. It's a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant that has had the community on its back for the last 6 decades. They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. My pops has worked in the area for longer than I've been alive, so El Ranchito has seen every iteration of me, and of my family. For that, I am grateful. We walked in and it was a few minutes to get recognized by the hostess. Not a big deal but that bled over into the waitstaff. We were sat and ignored for quite a bit. We waited and we got chips and salsa and someone came for drink orders. The salsa was some of the best I've had. Drinks came back pretty fast but they were average. Something was off about them. We ordered the food and we got it fast! I was surprised how quick it came! It was good Mexican food. Not great but good. All in all, it was a good place for a sit down dinner with drinks.

This restaurant has such a chill and welcoming ambiance! One of the highlights is the lady who sets up her karaoke station. She sings beautifully, but the best part is that she also lets guests join in on the fun. It makes for such a unique and entertaining experience!
