As always this spot is super yummy lots and lots of flavor. They're always good at taking our picky order and making sure everything is right. Good atmosphere, they have indoor and outdoor seating available in the front/back. At night I've gone and it's been fun with music.

I've been this restaurant a handful of times and I guess they change their menu. They used to have chicken flautas that I really liked and I guess they don't make those anymore. Instead, I got the three fish tacos and those were quite filling!! I don't like the Crumble cheese, so I got it without that as well as the sauce/salsa. Service was fine, you wait in front at the register for your order and then find an open seating area to sit at. We were able to sit down and get a spot wall other people in the party were able to order their drinks at the bar. I really like the Jamaica Agua Fresca And their salsa Verde was pretty spicy, but I really liked it! I will definitely be back again! I just wish they had other cocktails that weren't so tequila based since I'm allergic. Lol.

This was my second time coming to this restaurant. But my first time trying their Tacos. To be frank, their tacos were extremely bland and had no flavor. I tried adding two kinds of sauce and extra lime yet the tacos still lacked flavor. The sauces were all pretty good though. I just wouldn't recommend the food here as my partner ordered a steak quesadilla and even he said it was bland with little to no cheese. The service wasn't bad at all so that was a plus. The restaurant is located in downtown Campbell. I loved their outdoor seating during my visit. I'll come back for drinks and the service but not for the food.

I ordered the fried fish tacos and absolutely loved them! They came fully loaded with lettuce, salsa, and tons of flavor. While the service was decent, the ambiance leans pretty loud, so it's not the best spot for a quiet conversation. Still, if you're craving great fish tacos, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This was such a fun late night spot for greasy cheap food and strong drinks. El Guapo's was made for this el guapo. You order your food at the counter, drinks at the bar, grab a buzzer and get buzzed. Plenty of seating throughout but the back patio is a vibe. Great if you want to have a conversation and some fresh air. Inside is very lively. Really like that they have a late night weekend happy hour Friday-Saturday from 9:30-11:30 and everyday from 3-6PM. That level of flexibility warrants a return visit or two. It's $2off speciality drinks & Mexican beers, $9 shot & beer special, $8 zip margaritas and $12 18oz margs. But wait -- there's more! $9 carnita or chicken quesadillas that come with chips & salsas! I swear this isn't an ad. Just spreading the good word cuz that's a steal for the area. I had a great time with my friends here and will gladly come back for more.

Delicious food every time, drinks were ok a little on the strong and bitter side. Service was fast and polite on a busy night. Lots of people there great place for a date night or night out w friends.

This review is based solely on the quesadillas that I ordered during happy hour. Ooh gotta love a good happy hour deal! Got it for only $10. Portions were huge! I actually enjoyed the chicken tinga quesadilla. It also came with chips and salsa. Great ambiance and vibes. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

My son loves the quesobirria tacos here so when I was looking for dinner in the area, I decided to try them. What I failed to realize was that they have both birria tacos and quesobirria tacos and, unfortunately, I ordered the birria tacos. When they arrived, they looked like street tacos and didn't have the broth on the side etc.. I texted my son and sent him a photo and he quickly told me I had the wrong item. Fortunately, the waitress was very accommodating and offered to swap the dish for me. It was as delicious as my son had said! Yum!

The pollo asada street tacos were very unseasoned until we ate it with the salsa, but after that it tasted pretty standard. The chips it came with were a nice crunchy contrast to the soft tortilla. The happy hour deals are decent at $2/taco, but I feel like the only thing that makes this place stand out is that it's a sit-down taco place.

I've been here twice - once for lunch when I had work nearby and once for happy hour. Both times, the food was great and it was a nice place to hang out. It's a pretty casual place - you place your order at the front counter and come grab it when your buzzer goes off. Both times, we decided to sit outside in the back. During the day, it's nice and quiet - all of us were able to chat and enjoy the hour lunch break. For happy hour, it was a bit chillier and we asked for the heat lamps to get turned on. Both times - customer service was great. Ordering was easy and the food was awesome. I've had the carne asada street tacos (yum!), the carnitas tacos, churro bites and the horchata. While the churro bites were yummy hot and fresh, it wasn't quite as good once it cooled down. Perhaps that was a sign that we should have eaten them quicker - but now I know for next time!

It's right in downtown Campbell so parking is difficult. Right in the middle though so it's a nice walk to other cute stores nearby. Love the vibe, but it was super loud in there that I could barely talk with my group without feeling like I'm yelling. Staff was very nice. Food was filling. Tacos were great. I'll have to come back and try more dishes. Burritos looked gigantic. The ceviche was really good and the chips were great. I couldn't stop eating the chips. The drinks from the bar was pretty strong. The margaritas are huge. You just go up and order, then seat yourself. They've got outdoor tables too. Overall, very nice place with great vibes. If you're there to talk and really catch up, it might not be good cause it's hard to hear in there.

Met a friend and sat outside on their patio on a hot day with my dog. Good service from start to finish. Got a basic margarita on the rocks to start which hit the spot, and maybe even got me a little tipsy. On to food, a trio of chicken enchiladas with rice and black beans went down smoothly. The enchiladas had a good ratio of sauce/cheese/chicken and filled me up nicely. The beans and rice may have been a touch dry but still perfectly fine to consume. Parking is a bit scarce on a busy street, but overall a fine visit and would return if in the area again.

El Guapo's is an ok restaraunt in Campbell downtown. While the ambiance was phenomenal as they had plenty of outdoor and indoor seating as well as a bar, the food was unfortunately extremely mediocre. I got the Quesabirria tacos and the food came out in a reasonable time. The tacos themselves were extremely wet already with some grease and they were just soggy and had no crunch to them making it some kind of tortilla soup which I didn't enjoy. While the meat(beef) was tender, it had little to no actual flavor. The consome which is what is supposed to be the highlight of Quesabirria tacos was unfortunately underwhelming as it too had no flavor. The chips and salsa for me were really good though, as the salsa and chips tasted fresh. The tomatillo salsa was my favorite. El guapo's was extremely cheap for a nice restaurant in downtown as my dish which was sufficient for my whole dinner was only about $11 with tax which was great! Overall, while I would not come back to el guapo's again due to their mediocre food I would recommend this joint to others because of its affordability and prime location!

It was relatively empty, with only one other party seated at the time. Service was friendly and quick, and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. It's got a quaint hole in the wall kind of vibe, but was still clean - though not very air conditioned. We missed it, but there was a salsa bar in the corner near the entrance. We were served complimentary salsa and chips - nice refreshing, tomatoey and lightly spicy salsa. We also got guacamole, which you could tell was freshly made, chunky and refreshing. Glad we got this, because it helped cut through how heavy the molcajete de mariscos we got was. We were NOT expecting how large the mocajete is - this can probably be split across 3 if not 4 people. It comes out boiling hot, and with 3 tortillas, and a side of beans and rice. When we ordered, they asked us if we would want more tortillas since it comes with only 3 - we didn't even finish the 3 it came with. The sauce was tasty, tomatoey and spicy, and it was chock full of mussels, squid, sooo many shrimp, a whole filet of fried fish, and other goodies - unfortunately most of the seafood was pretty dry/overcooked. It came out to about $60 for the two of us. Overall, the mocajete was fun to try, but I think next time I'd try some tacos or a burrito if I were to come back.
