a chimichanga with sour cream and then shredded cheese on top of the cream for some reason.
    Amy N.

The service was okay, it's order and get it at the counter. There's a few tables, and they were clean. The counter folks were friendly. The food wasn't awful but it wasn't great either. And, honestly, it was a little expensive for what it was. The weirdest thing was for some reason they put loose shredded cheese ON TOP OF a Chimichanga. Which is very strange... why would they do that?

3-3.5. I love their location off of Blossom Hill Rd. and figured it'd be the same. I did not see that they offer the super chile relleno burrito, but I could have asked which I didn't at the time of ordering. The order did not take long to complete, service was good, and the place was clean. The chile relleno was not cheesy, so it made the burrito dry. The salsa was not spicy, unlike the one from the other location. It is great that they offer chips (complimentary) though.

Found this place by Safeway on Branham. It's on the side street. Easy parking. Staff is super friendly. The food is AMAZING, reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Bummer. I typically get the flautas, which I love. I thought I would try my favorite burrito today: carne asada. I paid for a super burrito, plus cc adder. Asked for no rice, and pico in the side. I got home and started to eat. Seemed bland and something missing. Yup, no cheese, no guacamole, no sour cream. I doctored it as well as I could. But meh.

Passed by the Lucy's on Bascom all the time, but never stopped by. Was super excited that they opened Lucy's right across the street from me and was craving a burrito so had to stop by though I was hesitant by the reviews. The employee in front was super friendly and let me modify my regular burrito by using refried beans instead of pinto and taking out the pico. I ordered al pastor as it's my favorite and saw them cut it off directly the spit and heat it up. I did also get to try all 4 of their salsas and was given a bag of homemade tortilla chips. Their creamy orange sauce is made with habanero and boy is it spicy! It was yummy though and couldn't stop eating it. Their avocado salsa is my second favorite, and the roasted salsa that the worker recommended with the chips was perfect. The al pastor was a tad dry, but with the salsa, I could barely tell. The burrito was a winner and would definitely be back. I did pay with cash as they do charge extra with credit card.

Just passing through and was craving Mexican food. Seen this little shop so I decided to pull in and put in an order to go. The shop is little but cozy. Only me and 2 other people inside to order. The lady at the counter was very nice and took orders quickly. I ordered the 2 tacos combination plate with carne asada and carnitas, and a side of fries. The side of fries is huge. Took a whole to go container to pack it...lol...the tacos were good and the meat seasoned right. The meats were tender and the salsa o.k., but was a little over spicey. I was bummed when I realized I forgot to order a horchata. Maybe next time. Overall price is a little on the higher side but its expected these days to help a smaller shop stay open.

Don't Taco 'Bout Me Third location for this locally-owned owned chain of Mexican taquerias that are all in the Cambrian/South SJ areas. This location is in the same shopping center as the Safeway and many other eateries and shops, including Big E Café, Big Fish, and Domino's Pizza. The Good: *It's on the less busy side of the shopping center facing Ross Ave. *Friendly service *Open for breakfast (8 a.m. M-F & 9 a.m. weekends), lunch, and dinner *Plenty of shared lot parking *Two small tables for outdoor dining *Handmade corn tortillas *The tacos we had were delicious. I particularly liked the Al Pastor and Carissa was crushing on the Carnitas. *Super huge, generous portions The Meh: *Really small interior *Not expensive but not cheap. However they do give you lots of bang for your buck with their generous servings. The Ugly: *4% surcharge on credit cards Conclusion: I'm excited to have an authentic Taco spot close to my house now. Welcome to the neighborhood!

There is really no space to sit and eat inside. The meat is dry and flavorless. The Al pastor super taco was super oily and the meat had a lot of fat. The regular beef taco was hard and chewy. Ordering was fast and easy. The orange sauce is super spicy, making it hard to eat.

Damn that taco was good. Highly recommend giving it a shot. Good prices, authentic Mexican food. My new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Love this place. Been here several times since it opened. Always happy with the food and service. Two things... they charge a surcharge for credit card (like 3%) and they don't have menu on Yelp. I'm uploading a pic to help!

Thrilled to have this Lucy's location open! We typically go to the Campbell one and this one is equally as good. Amazing that they are already knocking it out of the park when they just opened! Service is fast and friendly, welcoming us to this new location . We got a carne asada super burrito, chorizo breakfast burrito, horchata, and strawberry agua fresca. Yum yum! The breakfast burrito is so tasty and a good size! The rice is what makes it stand out from others. The super burrito is delicious and the carne asada is so flavorful. It is on the smaller side. Comes with free chips and choice of salsa - green, red, orange sauce - I highly recommend the green salsa which has a great flavor! You can also get a mix, if you want to try all of them. Don't miss out on the agua frescas, they are my guilty pleasure tbh. We get the large size which is plenty for the meal and a sipping delight for later. Today we got horchata (usually always an option here) and strawberry (this one changes). Packed with flavor! Horchata is on point and the strawberry is a flavor bomb of goodness. Stop by and support this wonderful neighborhood chain!

Pretty happy that his location finally opened up. I've gone to both the one on Bascom and the other in Blossom Hill and this one is just as good. The asada fries are great, but their burritos and tacos are why I go there. The workers are really nice and helpful. This place is mainly a to go like the others. They do have some seating, but clearly it's to go, which suits me just fine. On a side note, the current number listed on Yelp is incorrect. It lists the Bascom number. This place definitely fills a void for the area, and if you've never been, get the Al Pastor, it'll hit the spot.

Beef in the tacos was tasty and grilled with excellent crispness on the edges. Everything was tasty but not intensely. Nicely balanced, not mind blowing. We definitely will return.

Plenty of parking available since the restaurant is in a strip mall. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but then it started picking up. There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

Unfortunately inflation and the economy has changed the prices and food sizes, but at least it still tastes good. Some of my favorites here over the years have been the salmon tacos, Esquites, Enchiladas De Camarone and suizas, and the bacon guac. I used to not bat an eye and order whatever I wanted, but now I do have to think a little bit more so that the bill doesn't get too high. This location has a super cute front patio, it's bright, light, and airy, transporting you out of San Jose and right to a vacation mode. Even though it's on a pretty busy road, the traffic isn't usually distracting. Parking in the area can be hard, there's a couple paralele spots and then it's all neighborhood parking on the side of the street with the restaurant. Across the street can be a little bit easier.

They have seating out front inside and in the back, but the place was pretty full. Nonetheless, we were seated quickly as we had a reservation. It is a good idea to call ahead and make one. The prices are high, but hopefully all their people are making a good living and the portions are enough for our appetites at least. I had the shrimp enchiladas, and my wife had the vegetarian tacos with a side order of scrambled eggs. There was nearly a mixup as the waiter thought we wanted to order an egg taco and that's considerably more expensive but we got it straightened out with the maitre D. We also shared a Paloma cocktail with which has a pretty color and delightful taste.

This made it so seamless to reserve here. Our group got there at opening and our table was ready and most of the group was already seated when we got there. Drink orders were flowing as the waitress caught up to me and I got a cafe de olla. We browsed the menu and the more I looked the harder it was to pick one thing. I ended up choosing chilaquiles with a bandera sauce and carne asada as the added protein. The rest of the table got all different types of dishes from carne en su jugo to birria to omelettes. While we enjoyed each other's company sipping on our cafecito I enjoyed the ambiance of the space. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Since it was opening time it wasn't as loud as I imagine it can get in there. The sun did shine on the faces of those facing the windows which was not enjoyable for them. There was no way to cover the sun either since it was coming in from the top windows with no shade. My food came out along with the rest of the plates and we went right in to enjoy them. My favorite chilaquiles was covered in the white sauce. The red and green were good but the white sauce was my favorite. The carne was cooked well but I could taste it wasn't marinated or lacked flavor. I didn't get a knife to cut the meat so it was very difficult to enjoy a piece with my chilaquiles. It was hard to cut with a butter knife. I thought it would be a piece of steak but it was a piece of carne asada. Eggs were scrambled and cooked well. The whole plate was filling, had flavor, and was a good portion. The cafe de olla had a good flavor but a tad sweet for my preference. The space in here is a vibe. A fun place to enjoy large gatherings. I came for breakfast but will update when I come back to visit for dinner. Bathrooms are clean. Staff was welcoming and efficient in taking care of our group. Hospitality was a 10/10. Parking in the am was a breeze but at prime time I can see it being a complete nightmare so plan accordingly. I enjoyed my visit and will come back to check out the dinner menu.

As I entered the restaurant there was the aroma of fresh tortillas being made. Upon sitting down I was presented with fresh homemade corn tortilla chips along with two salsas (mild and medium) Tortilla chips were thick with just the right amount of crunch. Tasting the green (mild?) salsa was my favorite. It had a great tomatillo flavor with a creamy spiciness. It was a good reprieve from my main dish. A Paloma was my drink of choice this time. I'll preface this by saying I'm not a fan of tequila but when presented with the cold clay mug rimmed with salt and topped with orange and grapefruit, I was impressed. It was delicious, so refreshing, fragrant, and cold! A nice counterbalance to my meal. Chilaquiles was a dish I wanted to try. They had delicious chips again cooked in salsa verde. Covered with eggs (any style) fresh crema, avocado, and onions the chilaquiles exceeded my expectations. So simple yet so flavorful. Mixing up quantities of ingredients in each bite made for a delicious experience. My favorite element being the sharpness of the onions which cut the richness of the dish. I'm generally not a fan of refried beans but these ones had such a unique and satisfying flavor which complimented the dish well. My server, Luis was very helpful and quick to check in and make sure I was doing okay! I cannot wait to try out their fish tacos and various drinks from the menus next time!
