10/10 Food was amazing! The Pico was so fresh we ended up ordering one to take home. They also offered bottles of salsa with your meal and they were great! The chips were freshly fried and food was hot! Service, the young woman who helped us at the register was so kind and explained everything super well! She had great energy throughout our meal which was really nice on a tough day. Ambiance was fine, on par for a local taco shop. Only issue is that there was no bathroom we had to go to stater bros afterwards. But they had hand sanitizer which was good. Overall great quality food and service!

Great food! The burritos are amazing and the carne asada fries are fire. All the food is great

Was around the area so decided to try it out. There's plenty of parking, good service and short wait time . Al pastor taco : spicy and delicious Carne asada wet burrito : it was well seasoned however, it was a great disappointment. The burrito was stuffed with mainly rice and u could barely see or taste the meat. Only plus thing about ordering a burrito is that it includes a drink.

I believe this was the #6 - 4 carne asada tacos and I asked for onions on the side. Delicious!! We'll definitely be back and soon.

We've been wanting try this place for a while based on Yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. My husband got a breakfast burrito (which I forgot to take a picture of) and I got the #6 I believe. I chose Carne Asada for my meat and it was so good! Also, the girl that takes the orders was incredibly sweet and patient. We'll be back because of the excellent food and the great customer service.

It was so good I couldn't wait!!

Oh ho ho!! Where to start?! Wifey and I were in the area, and we needed to pick up some glasses for my daughter across the way at Apple Of My Eye Optometry. Now, me saying that I was madder than a bagged up badger, is an understatement. I was HANGRY and we had better get some food, 30 minutes ago! As we were pulling out of the parking lot, I noticed this place out of the corner of my eye....El Habanero? Never heard of it before, looks kind dark, are they closed? Nope, they were open, I was starving, lets give it a go.. HOLY CRAP!! This place is small. My big a$$ isn't going to fit in those small booths...Oh look, some bar stools and a table in the corner, I'll take it!! Why yes young lady, I'll take the wet burrito in green sauce, with the shredded chicken and wifey wanted 2 sopes...I'lll take a fountain coke and a mexican coke, and wifey wanted a topo chico....Now, we wait....anger broiling...food is almost here, wait it out, you got this......DING!! Not even 10 minutes after ordering, we had our food. The presentation was beautiful, I almost didn't want to cut into it...But remember, I was starving, and no food is safe, when I'm Hangry!! Hence the picture with a quarter eaten burrito in it...One small thing to add. The chicken would have tasted even better if you added some chipotle to it. Estilo Tinga! Oh my god! The Flavors, it was an explosion of different flavors, all adding up to one delicious bite!! Wow!! I want more!! But alas, I'm full and there's no room for more...Till next time Habanero. I will see you again! Definitely worth the drive, and definitely worth going out of my way to come here again!! Oh yeah, and the young lady taking our order, was super nice!! If I could give this place 10 stars....It deserves them, and more! I'll be back!!

No Mames!!! Wow no Mametion!!! The Tostada it's the best in whole world. I'm from Mexico City and I've tasted all kinds of Tacos, Street Food and Crickets. But the Tostada it's highly recommended. The Adobada and Cabeza tacos are to die for!!! All their Salsas are good but specially their Habanero Salsa (it's Spicy as F!!!)

I'm going to be honest and say this was my first time here HOWEVER I have zero complaints. Staff were friendly (Viviana if I remember her name correctly, was great), place looks nice and food was GREAT! I ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito (added sausage) and it was so good! Real authentic Mexican food. Prices are also great, especially for what you get. Taste, serving size, food cooked fresh, the service and vibes were great. I would highly recommend this place. I'm definitely going to recommend it to my family and friends at Harvest Church right across the street. This place 10/10.

Location is near Mission Inn on Main Street. Price is on the higher end so plan to pay an average of $30/person. The only thing that was a bummer for us was the loud music for lunch hour experience. The music was loud and made me think it would be best for a club atmosphere? Maybe it was just me but I felt anxiety eating because the music was so upbeat and loud. Music is a big part of the eating experience. I know some people may be fine with it. For example, we had breakfast at Tio's Taco and the music was spot on for the dining experience.

The meal started off strong with their chips and salsa--super fresh and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the chicken fajitas. While they were cooked properly, I wish they had a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. My wife had the enchiladas divorciadas, which were beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the filling was a bit cool. She probably should have sent it back, but since we were in a hurry, we didn't bother. On the positive side, my daughter had the carne asada burrito, and she said it was excellent. Service started off great with our younger male waiter being very attentive at first, but it slowed down significantly as our meal went on. By the end of our visit, I actually had to go up to the register to ask to pay. It was lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, so this felt a bit out of the ordinary. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Morena's Mexican Cuisine another try, as it may have just been an off day. The chips and salsa, along with my daughter's burrito, showed that they definitely have what it takes to impress. I'll reserve final judgment after my next visit!

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

We have not been here since the 90's and I have to say, it was much better back then. All in all, there is just no flavor. The salsa tasted like watery tomatoes, our waitress gave us a little side of habanero salsa to incorporate with it but that heat is the extreme for me. We ordered the Mesquite chicken and steak fajitas which were less than average. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but the taste of the protein did not match up to the wonderful smell of BBQ outside the restaurant. The tortillas were just ok, first batch was not even warm. My Michelada was good though. Bummer visit after being away for so long. Looks like the interior could stand a makeover.

Great size for two to share, and we had a blast just eating and enjoying the sights laid out to see. Their pickled onions got a spicy kick to it! They're all made from materials that were bound to go in the trash, most notably cans that they open for cooking. So you'll see lids and the other material from cans beautifully molded into these structures. It may seem random but I found lots of humor and play thrown into the craftsmanship of it all. Some pieces are like playing I Spy. It was funner to see than a lot of museums I've gone to actually. It's truly just packed with art.
