To start off they don't accept credit card, debit or Apple Pay. CASH ONLY & they don't have any signs or anything stating that, so that was a big surprise for us. Second , the music is so loud in there on a chill Monday afternoon! & once the waiter seen I was on the phone she turned the music more loud. We ordered Camarones à la Diabla & they were mid, not to mention the Michi with shrimp is 20$ (which they always been that price) BUT they don't taste the same, the shrimp doesn't have much flavor. & just to make it more interesting the server we had yesterday @ around 4:30 pm was such a rude, unpleasant person. I've been going to this restaurant for a while now. I am happy with the food and the drinks but not very happy with the service. I keep going here because they have the best Chavelas I've tried and the food is good when the order is put in correctly. I have not gotten the name of the waitress but once I do I will update this review so that you can request someone else if she tries to take your order, but every time this 1 person attends us, we always get something wrong with our order even when we point at what we want and we repeat what we want. Before she never wrote it down but now they all have to. Somehow it's still always wrong, and she doesn't apologize. She argues about it every single time. I don't understand how she is still working there but I am assuming she might know the owner. That is the only reason I would assume she still has a job there. What ever happened to the customer is always right? I would let it slide if it happened once or twice but no, it happens every single time she takes our order. I will not pay for or eat something I did not ask for, even though she swears she took the order correctly. It's really hard to find authentic enchiladas Michocanas but this place has them! My friends and I came in to take dinner to go. I ordered the enchiladas Michocanas with chicken but they ran out so gave my steak instead. We waited a long time for our food as I think the kitchen was backed up with orders. When we got our food my carne asada that came with my plate was ok, very chewy. Felt like it was sitting there for a awhile and not cooked fresh. My friend ordered a cheese quesadilla because she's vegetarian had chicken in her quesadilla. Yummy Super Michelada and great service. Family and kid friendly restaurant. I was craving Mexican and husband wanted a place that has Super Michelada and we got children. I Looked around on Yelp and found this restaurant and the pictures on here of the shirmp Michelada convinced us to go here. I cross the White and McKee intersection hundreds of times but never notice this hidden restaurant. It is located all the way inside the 7/11 plaza. We arrived around 7pm for dinner and from the parking view, the inside looked slow and I was getting worried. We were too hungry so we decided to just go in to give it a try. As we approached the store front and the door opened , I'm starting to see that the restaurant was 80% filled, people were having good time , and loud Mexican music was playing on the big screen. I was starting to feel more confident and relieved. Whew! We were seated immediately. Our waitress Stephanie greeted and made sure were comfortable with where we were sitting. She provided the menu and was very helpful when I asked her for recommendations. I was craving and hungry and wanted everything on the menu so it was good to have her narrow it down. I got the chicken Enchilada(choice of green or red sauce). I decided to go with the green sauce since Stephanie said that it was more spicy. The plate of food came out hot. I like. Beans were well blended with the cheese. Green sauce on top was on point. Enchilada itself were filled with good portion of shredded chicken inside. The salad was fresh and tasty with tomatoes and cilantro. I usually don't finish the salad but I did this time. Super Michelada were as delicious as they look from pictures I saw on Yelp. Shirmp were grilled perfectly and well seasoned. Definitely coming back here again when I'm craving for Mexican. read more

He tried to say that the super micheladas were $20 out the door and tried to charge me $20 for one drink and I called him out on it and he said oh yeah that's with tax. Micheladas here are delicious. Whenever I come visit my friend in the South Bay, this is our spot always. It is close to her house so it works out perfect. Do keep in mind that if they aren't busy at around 8, they do close up. Yelp says they close at 9pm and I've mentioned this to them before and they have said they close at 8pm. I then drive by and its packed at around 8pm and they are still opened and are still taking orders. Aside from that, very nice friendly staff, seems family owned. I've had their tacos so far, since I'm such a taco person and they're good. The tacos are not dry but neither super greasy. They serve you chips and salsa on the house so that's a plus. read more

Cute little spot if you are in the mood for some good drinks and delicious dinner. My favorite things were the shrimp empanadas, they were amazing! I highly recommend. I also recommend the super micheladas. They place lots of grilled shrimp all around the rim and the flavor on the shrimp is so yummy. Other favorites were the asada tacos and the fried fish. I really wanted to give this place more stars but after eating here I've been battling with a painful stomachache for the last day & a half. Came here on a Wednesday evening with my boyfriend for the first time, super excited because we had found a new spot that had chavelas/micheladas with shrimp. He ordered the super chabela, I had the regular michelada with shrimp... My michelada was super good & his was good but it tasted kinda weak compared to other spots we've been to. Food: the wet super burrito was delicious from what I had tried off my boyfriend's plate. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with red sauce & it was pretty solid as well. Everything was good except half way through dinner I started getting bad stomach pains after. Overall drinks are 4/5... My co worker took me to this spot that she likes. When we came in the waitress sat us down. We were browsing through the menu and we finally decided what we wanted. We got the Molcajete and shared. This place has the best micheladas with shrimp I have ever tasted! The michelada is perfect by itself but when the oils from the shrimp drips into the michelada, it is heaven. The restaurant has pretty decent food so I mostly just have their micheladas but if you must eat, I get the Camarones a la plancha which is basically a plate of more grilled shrimp (the same ones you get from the michelada) but with rice, beans, and a mini salad. Dress that up with their habanero hot sauce and I'd call that a night! I could not give this place 5 stars and I wish I could but I didn't because the service is pretty slow when they're crowded. They also have really loud karaoke on Friday nights so it's hard to enjoy happy hour with my coworkers when we can barely hear each other. Overall, you've got to try their micheladas. It wasn't very busy but there wasn't seating for our group so we were squished in a small table by the door. Waitress brought some chips and salsa. Took a while to get our water and the salsa was spicy AF. I ordered both the shrimp cocktail and the michelada. Took what seemed like forever to get our food and they weren't even busy. The michelada tasted great had three little shrimp on the rim of the glass. The shrimp cocktail was a little to sweet for me even after I put lemon salt and tapatío. It did have a good portion of shrimp and it was a good liquid texture. Not to thick not to thin. I enjoyed eating what I ordered. I did not enjoy waiting forever for refills of water and my drinks. The waitress checked on us often but took forever to bring our drinks. Took forever to get our check. Will come back because I like the food. I only come here specifically for their micheladas. I've ordered the burrito & nacho plate from here and wasn't too impressed with the food. Their taco's are pretty good and would recommend that if you want to try the food here. Otherwise, I would highly recommend just coming for their micheladas. The service and staff are very friendly and nice. DO NOT GET BURRITOS HERE. First, they are so overpriced for what they are. I ordered a "super burrito with shrimp" and I made sure to let to waiter know I wanted a SUPER Burrito with shrimp. And not the shrimp burrito they have on the menu (it included onions and bell peppers). She did not write down our orders. While we are waiting the music was extremely loud. Fast forward, my burrito comes out first. Very tiny burrito for $18. I don't notice anything wrong until I take a bite and taste bell pepper and onion. I point it out to the server and she tells me I said I wanted a shrimp burrito. I then remind her that I specifically said a super because I know there was another shrimp burrito on the menu. She then asks "well what don't you like about it" and I said "well first off there's no guac and no sour cream" and then she said "we can bring it out on the side" and I said "well there's also bell peppers and onions in it" she then goes back and says "well you didn't ask for guac or sour cream" and I said "I didn't think I needed to ask since it's literally in the description of the burrito" she said she was gonna go check in with the back, and luckily they remade my burrito correctly, but it was a very underwhelming burrito. All the drinks came with no ice and it was hot out that day. There was one person before me and I waited 30 mins for just drinks. The lady helping me barley understood spanish. All I can say about this place, is that they have the BEST CHAVELAS. I can not find them like this anywhere. So glad my best friend took me here.
