Next time, I will either park closer to the entrance/exit or park on the street. The wait was about 10 mins. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating due to the temperature. The food was very good, esp. the guacamole. We got the coyote guacamole and it is probably one of the best I've ever had. It's very creamy and smooth. They give you salsa and chips for the table. The salsa does have a bit of a kick. We asked for 2 refills for the salsa and chips - they charged us the 3rd one. We also got the mix tostaditas, house traditional nachos for two (added grilled chicken), salmon taco, and fajita todos. We were too full for dessert but the dessert options look good. The service was ok. We did have to flag the server a couple of times. The decor is very interesting. I would definitely come back again.

I just moved to Conshohocken and got a brochure from El Limon in my package from my apartment. When I looked them up I saw all these great reviews on Yelp, Facebook, Trip Advisor etc and when I saw the prices I had to give it a try. Let me tell you, this was the WORST Mexican food I have ever had! I love Mexican Cuisine, but Taco Bell does a better job. First off the chips they serve with the over cilantro-ed guacamole were stale. For dinner I got the shrimp tacos and could barely eat one. They were like the small baby shrimp you can get frozen at the grocery store, but worse because they did not know how to cook them. They had no flavor and the texture was disgusting as if they weren't even cooked all the way; I couldn't even stomach eating them, the texture and taste was horrible. My boyfriend got the steak fajitas and he as well barely ate one. The steak was similar to the kind of steak you put on a cheesesteak except unlike a cheesesteak, it was disgusting. Also aren't fajitas suppose to come out on a hot plate all steamy? This came out on a regular plate. They do offer complimentary Margaritas, but I only recommend getting one if you like your Margarita in a water glass with margarita mix and straight triple sec no tequila. It tasted like a bad lemonade. On top of that it was freezing cold in the restaurant - outside was warmer than it was in there. This was by far the worst Mexican food I have ever had. If you live in the area and want actual good Mexican food I suggest spending a couple extra dollars and going somewhere else or finding a Taco Bell. read more

My fiance, our friend, and I arrived close to closing time, but the owner was very friendly and made sure we took the time to sit and enjoy our food while he and his staff cleaned and closed up. I ordered a steak taco, carnitas taco, and marinated chicken taco cashing in at 2.50 each + 0.75 per for lettuce & sour cream (supreme). We also did the chips/guacamole for $5. It was delicious. The meat was tender and all of the toppings were fresh. As far as the guac goes, it was awesome... the salsa fresca was probably one of the best I've tried. The chips themselves paled in comparison. They were crunchy but nothing to write home about, which was a bit disappointing considering how delicious the guac & salsa was. The red sauce provided to us was also super flavorful, and it added a great kick to the meal. Overall, the place is small with minimal decoration, but the food was amazing. Service was fast and incredibly friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a taco fix! read more

The service was so bad that I literally walked out before my meal was even served to me. I ordered one simple thing, which was shrimp fajitas. Two other couples who sat down 10 mins after us were severed their food. I placed the order at 9:10 and at 9:40 I finally got up, and told the waitress I was leaving after waiting 30 mins for my food. This is the first time this happened here. I have eaten here many times before with no issues, but what happened tonight was unacceptable. So today we ordered takeout thinking maybe, just maybe last night was a fluke. We get home, open up the bag and bam the order isn't correct. I paid 32 dollars for food and the order was wrong. I called and explained to them what the issue was and that our order was wrong. They did however say that the next time we come in the food we were missing would be free. Don't get me wrong, their food is amazing but the service I have received 2 days in a row has been very disappointing. read more

This place has a 4.5 star rating for a reason. El Limon is one of the best Mexican places I've ever been to. My wife took me here for the first time a few months ago and I was blown away. This place is very authentic. We took my parents and siblings there and we all love it. They don't have their alcohol license but they give out unlimited complimentary margaritas!! I have never been to a place that does that! And they are very good margaritas too! Everything here is good, from the chips & salsa & guacamole, to their tacos, to their enchiladas, etc. I usually get their tostadas and wow are they good!! You can mix and match any different tostadas you want, and they are all amazing! I have never had a bad experience here and everyone who works here is so friendly. They are BYOB so grab yourself a pack of Coronas and enjoy their amazing food and speedy service! read more

Walking to the door me and husband were greeted by the lot next door which led to the restaurant kitchen. Filthy disgusting trash all over, gross. We passed by the open kitchen and saw lots of dirty dishes piled up on the ledge, even more scary was to look at the dirty rags around the grill and the unsanitary cooking practices. I guess they can offer these great items cheaper because they prob have low overhead (something most yelpers cant grasp is the economics of restaurants) and they purchase from restaurant depot (direct from the distributor). Some silver hair guy came in with his middle of the mall wife and kid prancing around like a fairy between the isles like she was riding a horse, yelling loudly. He then went in the back to grab drinks so he must be great friends with the owner. On account of that I hate this place. I plan to go back and speak to the owner or manager, but I needed to leave and cool off before calling her a liar to her face. We ordered the shrimp tacos, the veggie tacos, and a large side of guacamole. The shrimp tacos were the worst I've tried. Three tacos each with approximately one underseasoned shrimp cut into tiny pieces, topped with chopped tomato, jalapeño, onion, and a tiny bit of cilantro, drizzled with chipotle mayonnaise. The shrimp was tasteless and the portion was tiny. The pico de gallo was as average as it gets. Not to mention the tacos at El Limon come with beans and rice for the same price, these did not. I got takeout and had homemade corn salsa, pickled jalapeños, and hot sauce in my refrigerator, thank god, because these tacos needed some flavor. My boyfriend ordered the veggie tacos and didn't say much other than he disliked them and proclaimed Lili's a "one and done."
