This place rocks. It looks funky as hell and maybe not so clean but the food and drinks are great and CHEAP! They mKe their own hot sauce and the papas are stuffed w ground beef and deep fried. Pepper steak was killer and all was great.

The atmosphere was super festive and we were looking forward to our evening. The bartender was friendly and took our drink order. We waited an extremely long time and his excuse was he had to climb up to get a bottle of Grey Goose. After waiting so long he still forgot the one drink which we thought was what took so long, an old fashioned. The two other customers got an additional drink while we were waiting. We were 15 minutes late for our reservation, which didn't matter because there were only 2 tables of patrons. Our server in training came by and dropped off paper Christmas menus and brought us water. Then we waited and waited and finally our sever arrived. We asked for the menu and she said the only thing they had was this special Christmas menu, which was basically all appetizers. This is NOT what we planned when making reservations weeks ago. So disappointing! We ended up leaving and having dinner elsewhere.

I had two cocktails one came in the cutest Santa mug (instant mood boost), and the Clover d'Hiver was pretty and delicious from the Christmas menu. Service was a little slow with checks and I never got the food I ordered but honestly, the vibes were so cute and cozy I didn't even stay mad. Great spot for a festive night out with friends or a cute holiday date night.

This was our third stop of the evening and a genuinely pleasant one, helped along by Andrea, who was friendly, upbeat and made the visit feel even more relaxed. We ordered beers and their roasted hummus, which came with thin‑sliced cucumbers and carrots. When one of my friends mentioned that he's allergic to carrots (yes, really), Andrea didn't hesitate. She brought out a basket of tortilla chips so he could enjoy the hummus without worry, and the rest of us made sure the carrots stayed far from the shared plate. It was a small gesture, but it added a nice touch of hospitality. The whole place has an easygoing vibe, the kind that makes you want to linger a little longer, and its spot right on the main drag of Ybor makes it an ideal pause point on a walking tour. It's a dependable, welcoming stop that's well worth including. [Review 41 of 2026 - 2226 in Florida - 25232 overall]

The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great place to walk around and explore. Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. Neither of us had ever tried alligator before, so we were really curious to see what it was like. Turns out, we loved it! It tastes surprisingly similar to chicken and was a fun way to try something new. For our mains, my dad ordered their famous Meatloaf, and after trying a bite, we completely understand why it's one of their signature dishes. It was excellent. I went with Barry's Tomahawk Pork Chop, and it was outstanding. The pork was cooked perfectly; juicy, tender, and not dry whatsoever. The real star, though, was the guava demi-glace, which added such a unique and delicious flavour to the dish. The beer selection was great too. I especially enjoyed the Wedding Beer Berry Lager, which was refreshing and packed with flavour. We also saved room for dessert. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination. To be honest, the idea of a basic rice bowl didn't seem too exciting, but I knew would be a healthy option. Then I sat down and dove in to find that this isn't your average bowl. Everything was so flavorful! I had the charred chicken thighs and they were so tender and juicy. For sides I ordered the cucumber ranch salad and broccoli with lemon and garlic. I would absolutely order both of them again. The whole thing was served over a bed of brown rice and came with a side of spicy aioli. I see now that they have a handful of locations around Florida and one in Charlotte, NC. Since they skipped over SC, here is my official plea to put a Naked Farmer in Charleston... specifically in my neighborhood please!
