Real bands ! Real dancing!
Paloma R.

We had lots of fun dancing with La Sonora Dinamita, the drinks are not over priced, we were able to reserved a table and outside we bought some Deliciosos tacos ! My fiancé is American and I am Latina, the place is 95% Latinos but if you are American And want to experience a real Latino club this is your club ' come and sweat the beer out dancing !

Fun for your banda mix. The guys are helpful and the waitresses are nice. A great find in Kent- however DJ does make awful transitions. Helpful hint, wait 4 seconds to make sure the song doesn't change lol

a line of people waiting outside a restaurant
J Y.

Majority of the customers were Mexicans. Like 99% of them,,, The place was huge, beautiful with florescent mural and bunch of large flat screen TV's. Attractive servers, however some of them couldn't speak English.. It's a Mexican night club more than a restaurant.. I paid $10 cover charge around 11:30PM on Thursday night, place was packed! Lots of beautiful ladies!! Classy joint. I felt safe in there ~ :)

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. We had a great time and I strongly recommend coming by the Quarterdeck to chill and listen to live music. Can't believe it took me 20 years of living in Seattle to find this place. So, don't repeat my mistake.

Quarterdeck is what I like to call a "come for the vibes, stay for the drinks, eat... somewhere…read moreelse" kind of place. I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone

Ambiance is korean pocha/late night bar setting and they are open until 2am! There's limited seating during their busy hours so definitely come earlier if you can. Lots of parking outside. Everytime I visit here, I ALWAYS get the creamy bulgolgi udon. This dish is super unique and I've never seen it elsewhere. The sauce is so flavorful and pairs perfectly with the bouncy/chewy udon and well marinated bulgolgi. The pork belly kimchi udon is good as well if you like a spicy kick. We also ordered the half and half fried chicken (original and yangnyeom) and it was perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside! My friend enjoyed the spicy seafood stir fry which paired well with a bottle of soju but they also have lots of other drinks (nonalcoholic) to choose from! after a long night out or just for a casual lunch/dinner-- definitely a go to spot for me.

I ordered the honey garlic wings and the half-and-half (low-level spice). Unfortunately, the honey…read moregarlic wings were quite dry and seemed overcooked--the meat was hard and even the bone crumbled, which was disappointing. The half-and-half wings were noticeably better and much more enjoyable. I also tried the Creamy Udon with seafood and cod roe, which was absolutely delicious--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I would skip the overcooked wings next time, but I highly recommend diving into the udon.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!…read more Mother's Day and birthday- they had a limited menu with a set gratuity of 20% which may explain why the service was lacking. I was hoping this would be like a 4 star review- crappy service amazing food? Nope- bad service bad food over priced- We Made a reservation, and asked for window seat got seated in the worst seat possible table Right by the walkway and kitchen. We asked to move to one of 5 empty tables and we were told they were booked full- the attendant wouldn't even ask if we could switch tables- she did tell the manager we were unhappy and his response was to shrug and dismiss it. She had zero interest in ensuring we had a good experience. There should not have been any issue to move us to one of the other more preferred seats. As they were empty and many remained so while we were there. We ordered Tuxedo lobster ravioli - stuffed with lobster- warm flavor but very uninspiring- would not recommend - it was warm- not hot and the sauce was a bit congealed texture wise - the flavors truly were on the more bland side Crab stuffed salmon - delicious- buttery moist flakey salmon with delightful crab stuffing- garlic mash was spot on- favorite dish! If all dishes had been this delightful I would have been thrilled! Steak tuscano- bland- minimal sauce- both people who ordered it did not feel it was worth it at all- aldente noodles and well well wellll done steak- lacked flavor- the bacon jam was delightful but very little of it- the balsamic reduction was absent and the noodles were dry- none of us who tasted it thought it was good- edible but eh... Artichoke dip - good but not great- it was a bit runny- as in watery. Mild flavor main flavor artichoke very little crab or lobster- actually had to be told it was seafood artichoke- there was no sign of seafood- the RED... L has way better and more flavorful and that's sad to say. We opted to skip dessert thank goodness- sadly the reservation asks about special event for which we put birthday... but there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday- typically in a higher end type restaurant which they seem to claim to be- if you put the occasional they acknowledge that you're there for a birthday etc.- nope! The bottom line is- I've had way better meals with way better service at a way better price..... save the time, the money and your taste buds. And go some place that actually tries to accommodate simple reasonable requests and well quite frankly some place that still cares about customer service. I truly wanted to like this place- sadly won't be back.

I have been eating here for over 25 years. The warmth of a fireplace greets you as well as nice waiting area. Then as you are seated you take in the beautiful view of the Olympic Mountain range and Puget Sound. It's too cold to sit outside yet but large deck exists for the warmer days. We started with champagne to relax and once again enjoy a great night together eating Italian food. The smell of homemade fresh cooked bread filled our noses as we were sat. Clams Sauté started our mouths watering as the juice flavored with red chili flakes, wine, etc was a super start . And the toasted bread to dip into the clam broth was perfect. Then Insalata Verrazanos split between us followed by fettuccini dish split again between us! Our service was not hurried yet they always quietly came by to assure all was fine! This place is located about a mile north of downtown Federal Way on Hwy 99 so you can conveniently come from both directions or various I-5 exits ( exit 272nd works). So where can you enjoy a romantic or simply great tasting Italian meal courses with this view in South Sound? Niwhere this nice. So give yourself a treat. Can't wait to go back yet again.

Waterland Arcade is one of them. Certainly not the largest venue and they have quite a mix of video arcade games as well. Everything that I played on worked as expected. Not every arcade can make that claim. What was really cool besides the games were the people who worked there. Friendly, laid-back and willing to answer questions. My wife didn't but sat outside the building at a table and chair with the dog. We were meeting friends for dinner somewhat nearby, so I had a couple of hours to work out some energy. I had originally intended to spend some time in Hillsboro, Oregon at a major arcade but failed to note that they were closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I wasn't able to get my fix in. The admission fee is a quite reasonable $16 per person age 14 and over. I am a first responder and appreciated the 10% discount on admission and drinks. Military members, Nurses and Teachers also receive the same discount. They claim to offer over 40 ice cold craft beers and ciders, but I was happy with my Diet Coke.
