    HUGE!

This is the first Mexican restaurant in the east coast that I've rated 5 stars. Service is top tier, easy parking, excellent prices, portions are gigantic, taste is authentic, drinks are legit, and I am definitely making the 40 min drive to get more of this next time I'm in quantico for work.

Food was fine. Nothing exciting. Burrito was cold inside. Not much meat in fajita. The 3 floor tortillas stuck together and ripped holes when opening. $4 for a glass soda bottle.

Solid food and large portions. The super burrito was delicious and filled well. The sauce on top was great and the meat inside was really flavorful! I got carne asada and loved it. The queso on top really adds to the dish too.

Slightly divey Tex mex spot. Service was slow to start but once the free chips and salsa come out you forget about it. The chicken with cheese and tortillas was different than something I usually get at Tex Mex spots and would absolutely get it again. The other dishes rice and beans hit the spot.

Service could have been better. I find lately that young folks are not focused. This kid got my order wrong. I ordered a chicken burrito, and got a steak burrito instead. For someone who doesn't eat beef or pork, this was bad. The place was a little dated, but OK. Finally, the chicken burrito was not good. The sauce tasted like something out of a can.

This restaurant has a decent sized private parking lot that can be a bit dark at night. There is also a nice sized covered patio along the front of the restaurant and a decent sized dining area inside. You will also find a small bar area inside. Both the dining and bar areas have televisions. Surprisingly, they were playing classic soul music throughout the dining area during my visit. I was solo and was seated at a table right away. Of course they have complimentary chips and salsa. I loved their salsa. It was sweet and a bit spicy. Just like I like it. The restaurant serves your typical Mexican food, including burritos, tacos, chori platos, chimichangas, steaks, and quesadillas. They also have the savory adult beverages that you find in Mexican restaurants including signature margaritas. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the chori tropical. It came with rice and refried beans. They prepared it very quickly. It was on my table about 5 minutes after I ordered it. I must say it was fresh hot and delicious. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. This Mexican restaurant would be a nice place to catch your favorite game and eat some good Mexican food. You should definitely check them out.

This was my go to spot across the Woodrow Wilson bridge, until I got food poisoning UGH.... They have $5 margaritas until 7 or 8 pm. Those little frozen margaritas will sneak up on you so don't sleep on them. The food is good and they have daily specials for each day of the week. Not to mention the tiny lady behind the bar is very sweet and always welcoming. I hate that I caught food poisoning after having steak and chicken tacos. Maybe someone wasn't following the proper food handling protocols. I have been terrified to return since being traumatized. But I would say give it a shot.

3 chicken tacos, side items black beans and rice

I went on a Tuesday for an early lunch with coworkers. Vibe is old Western style wooden booths, very clean. We were seated immediately and our orders were quickly brought to us. I ordered the tacos with chicken that came with black beans and rice. Another person ordered the chorizo queso. I was a bit thrown off by the white color but I tried it and wow is was good (white cheese), a little spicy from the sausage but good. My dish came with 3 flour tortillas with my chicken filling in the center and beans & rice. No one ordered anything other than water but there no leftovers. One coworker ordered a to-go order for their spouse since this is their family's go-to Mexican spot too. I'll definitely come back again when I go to the Walmart over there.

I've been thinking about El Paso ever since I visited last week! I've had a lot of burritos in my life, but the Hermosa Super Burrito and El Paso is without a doubt my new favorite. Unlike anything I've tried before, this burrito had pork with pineapple and grilled onions, along with the expected fillings. The flavors complimented each other so well! Even better was the sheer size of this thing. I like to eat, and this burrito lasted me three meals. Pictures do no justice to how "super" this thing really is. The true reason I wrong this review is for the service, however. Jose Resino was absolutely wonderful. He anticipated our needs and was so personable. I've never written a review for a server before, but Jose did THAT good of a job. I unfortunately don't live in the area, but the rest of my party returned just a couple days later hoping to be served by Jose again. Next time I'm back in Alexandria, I know where I'm heading first!

Cinco de Mayo was very festive! The place was decorated and had a free Photo Booth. It was packed, but I believe the staff was very composed and got through the rush very quickly. The menu is LARGE so prepare for many options and good prices. There were drink specials as well.

Food was good and came out quick. Would've been 4 stars but they did not discount our happy hour meal despite being told to fix the receipt.

Inside, most tables were taken but there were a few empty and what seemed to be plenty of waiters around. My bf and I sat at the bar. The couple next to us got there just before us and got their menus, chips and drinks, plus ordered. We received nothing. After awhile someone handed us chips and a menu. Then we were ignored again. Meanwhile the couple next to us had received their food. I finally flagged someone down and asked for a beer, queso and 4 tacos. My bf who did not have a drink never got water. They brought us 3 tacos instead of 4 and then ignored us again. Are you noticing a theme? The tacos honestly were not even good. Oh, and because of the "holiday" they automatically added an 18% tip. Probably because with this service and food they would receive less than that. Not a great experience.

We were greeted and seated immediately when we arrived. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables total occupied during our visit so not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. There is outdoor seating as well. Our server, who was very friendly, hyped the premium margarita so we gave in and said yes. We also tried the passionfruit margarita. The premium was strong but that's probably what you're going for anyway The passionfruit margarita was delicious but not strong at all. We tried the chips and dip and the Platanos Fritos (plantains with sour cream) to start. Chips were fresh and hot. Salsa was a bit creamy. Never had it like this before but the taste was pretty good. Plantains were perfect! While we didn't order the Guac ( Guacamole Molcajete) , it was brought to our table. We found it to be on the bland side with no hints of cilantro, onion, lime or salt. We saw a few bits of tomato but it tasted just like a plain smashed avocado. Not something we would order again. We decided to try all the street tacos except the vegetarian so we could taste everything. Steak, chicken, fish, shrimp, ground beef, pork (al pastor), carnitas. We also got the 3 street taco platter that came with the Mexican rice and beans. We found the shrimp and fish tacos to be lacking in the quantity of meat. But they were flavorful. The chicken, while plentiful, was dry even with the sauce. The steak, al pastor and carnitas were all packed with meat and delicious but both our Al Pastor tacos were missing the pineapple. The ground beef was my personal favorite but was very greasy. The Mexican rice and pinto beans....Both were just ok. Overall, food was ok we were expecting a bit more flavor. Service was great. Pricing was a bit higher than what we usually pay for a similar order.
