I order from here every once in awhile, I'm happy with their food. I usually get an Enchiladas dinner and guacamole, both taste fresh and are delicious. My issues have been some inconsistency with getting my order correct, and also times when I have called middle of their posted business hours to place orders and the phone just rings, I've never known if it is a fluke or if they had to close for that day or something. So visited El Patio, today while I was at Jury duty. It was in walking distance to the court, I had time to waste, and I was hungry. The mistake that I made was I walked through the doors. I was greeted and the host was nice enough. She picked a table for me while I went to the restroom. If I had looked up at what the patron at the table next to me had on his plate before I had ordered I would have walked out. My man had a side of buttered corn. In a tex mex restaurant? No. Not even Elote style, straight canned or frozen corn with his meal. I ordered the plate with three crispy tacos and a cheese enchilada. And boy did it not disappoint on the crispy part. My taco shells looked like someone who stayed out in the sun too long at the beach. If crispy shells start off as yellow and you are supposed to warm them up and they come out looking like the color of brown suede boots. Those charros flat out gross and the rice tasted like nothing. It wasnt even the food that made me want to review them it was the service. The waitress I had was horrible. She took my order, brought my drink, my food and that was it. I dropped my napkin on the floor and i was looking for her to come by so i can ask for another and she was gone. I just wiped my hands on my jeans. I ate what I could and wanted to pay and the waitress was no where to be found. I lie. She was at the bar on a step ladder doing something with bottles. I heard her giving direction to another waiter be should couldnt be bothered to check in on me. So after 10mins of sitting there, no drink refill, no new napkin, no check........she finally comes down and I can see her reflection looking at my table to see if I was done and instead of interacting with me she went straight to the register at the front, printed my bill and said I can pay the cashier or online. This is probably up there in the top 5 worst service I have ever recieved at a restaurant. Its all good, I wont be back but since I dont live in that town I wanted all Jurors and Court staff to know this is what awaits you if you visit this restaurant. You have been warned. read more

Horrible horrible food !! Don't eat here . I had green enchiladas super salty dried chicken and got charged extra for green sauce wtf?! Chicken fried steak was so disgusting. Not even my eight year old liked the coffee she ordered . No wonder this place was empty . Overall don't visit !!! read more

Over the top good, everything about my meal was perfect, the rice was cooked where every grain was fresh and visible, the charro beans were freshly made, my beef fajitas were cooked to perfection and flavored where you couldn't wait for the next mouthful. This is a very casual Mexican restaurant. The food is decent and relatively inexpensive. The atmosphere is very casual. The only drawback is each time I come the service is very slow. They seem to be understaffed. the song I was actually approached by the waiter and told me if I expected my food to be out quickly he could put it in a to-go box for me. That is after it took 20 minutes just to get my drink. Ordering to go and coming to pick it up is probably your best option for lunch during the work week. read more

We've ate here several times. Good food but their margaritas fall short. I paid $18.00 for a large "top shelf" that was all mixer and nothing more. We'll go back for the food but don't waste your money on the drinks. read more

I enjoyed eating here it had a mom and pop feel to it I had the grilled tuna with grilled vegetables it was delicious the tuna was overdone a little but overall it had great flavor I topped it off with salsa the staff and atmosphere were very welcoming the restaurant and restroom very clean when I'm in the area again I will definitely be back to try other dishes read more

I tried this place out of several I could have, and instantly regretted it. I ordered the 3 beef enchiladas and they were tasteless and bland, and I only got a partial refund for food I could not eat, so I ordered the chalupas because I was still hungry. There was hardly much meat on them and the waitress told me the pico and sour cream would be extra even though it's right there on the menu with it. I ended frustrated and STILL hungry. This place is a waste of my money and I won't be coming back. P.S.-the queso was just like Kroger EasECheese and turned thick like cement after a few minutes. Love this place mostly because the owner is so kind. She always makes it a point to come and give you a hug or pat on the back and ask how You're doing. When you see her in public, she also makes it a point to recognize you and say hello. Their food is awesome too. We had my daughter's baby shower there. If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered a small queso. You can tell that it came out of a can. All they did was add a couple of finely chopped jalapeños. They queso came out and we waited far what seemed like forever before the chips and salsa arrived. The salsa is average. My wife liked it. I'm not a big fan of hot (temperature) salsa. I ordered the lunch beef fajitas and she ordered the chicken. It came out quick. Chicken had a bad taste and the salad that came with it had cucumber and tomato that was spoiled - I sent it back and did not order anything else. My fajitas had no taste. I Was so disgusted when I went. The greeter stared at me for 5 mins before realizing I needed a table. She was coughing and rubbing her eyes and blowing her nose. She had a chips and sauce with her that she was eating that apparently she needs to finish before she can seat anyone. Once I did finally did get a table she started to scratch her socks. I was so turned off to enjoying a meal at this point I wanted to leave. Even though it took her a good minute to remember I also needed chip and sauce. I got them. Its OK.... Queso is good green sauce is good. My quesadillas were swimming in oil yuck. Happy hour margaritas are tiny. Beans and rice taste like they're out of a can. The service here is pretty good, our waiter Joe was very polite and quick. I ordered the chicken stuffed fried avocado that came with a cheese enchilada, rice, beans and also ordered the chicken vegetable soup. The soup tasted homemade which I really liked, but for $5 a cup it was very small. My avocado was delicious, but the rice was dry and bland, and the enchilada wasn't very appetizing. They've had better food nights so I would like to go back for a different dish and for their wonderful staff. Next time probably won't ask for rice and beans though... read more
