This place has reliably good food and the restaurant is reliably clean and well maintained. It takes a minute to get here due to traffic in the area. Parking is easy, they have their own lot. Thursday I called ahead in the morning and preordered about $100 worth of food for a work party. We agreed I could pick up at 2. I got there around 2 and there was already a long line, so I waited., 15-20 mins. When I finally got to the girl, she had trouble finding my order. Apparently there was also another woman who preordered a large amount and they had mixed us up. It took another ten minutes to get that straightened out AND for two cashiers to decide to eventually use another register as either the register they were trying to use was broken or neither of them knew how to work it. They were going to ring me up separately for the chips and guacamole bc they couldn't add it to the total. I felt they should have given it to me bc it was so late. They have a lot of employees, usually means they're always busy, and they are. I go here all the time for the $5 combos, can't beat it. I prefer going inside because the drive through is usually very busy. Food quality is typically on point, as is the service, along with it being clean inside the restaurant. I've gone to this El Pollo Loco numerous times considering its the only one in the area. The customer service is terrible and the food quality is questionable. I order the same thing every time I go. Sometimes I get a Mexican cob salad that's worth the $12 plus I spent on it more often then I'd like that isn't what happens. I know it's my fault for not wanting to go to the neighboring cities for a chipotle. This place is close but it varies every time I come here. I've never been able to get my food within the 30 minutes I ordered it. The longest I've waited for food here is 50 minutes. Some days are good, some days are bad at this El Pollo Loco. Every time I've come here after I've waited 30-40 minutes for a salad and some rice when I finally come up to the window to pick up my food the servers seemed relaxed and are giggling while ppl are getting food that should be better quality if they can find that much time to slack off. read more

Our go to chicken place the chicken breast is my favorite.We use to get the California burrito but they took it off the menu it was hella good they need to bring it back! Now we get the queso blanco they also have 5.99 bowls that's pretty good I add corn. I never use drive thru, I always go inside to order. The one day I decide to use drive thru, the "kids" that were working the window need to work on communication and customer service skills. It's good that teens work but God damn!! I was at the speaker waiting to order, I hear someone mumble not speak but mumble. I asked what they said, I must've said excuse idk how many times. Nothing, no response. So I drive up to the window and the 2 boys are standing there chit chatting not acknowledging that someone was at the window. When one of the kids decides to turn around, I told him that no one is taking orders nor respond to me speaking into the speaker. He said someone os now taking orders and I needed to wait.
