Im giving this review for Alameda Nations,Not Castro Valley,because Alameda Nations was not Available for comments : I went there yesterday for the second time an had the worst service ever ,I ordered 3 burgers 2 fries an a slice of pie ,to go, asked her for lite mayo on 1burger,but when I went home No mayo on any burgers an lettuce was wilted an so small amount ,I also got No spoon or fork for my pie they didn't put any ketchup in the bag an I asked her to enter my phone number for my point an she said she forgot,its very sad to me that this location has went down the hill ,the people there serving you don't address you kindly like before,an act like they don't care,No manners ,I actually had a problem there before with rudeness,I will be going to another location in the future,the burgers were soo disappointing to all of us in my household. read more

Good customer service. This place has gotten better. Las year and the year before that, they would take forever to have your order ready. I have ordered twice this year and both times the order has been ready within the time that I was told about 15 minutes. I call to place my order. I love their banana pies- they're the best! I always order the same- hamburger. The fries here are good! Way better than McDonald's :( Their burgers always taste fresh. The only complain I always had was how long they took to make the order. But now that they make the order quicker, I'm all for it :) read more

Ordered here for the first time from DoorDash, packaging was great, we got chicken grilled burger unfortunately cheese was extra $1.75, the taste was like any other burger I feel the price is on the high side. We also got the cheesecake strawberry and oommggg it was so good I loved it, we got one slice which was $10 I think that's a bit pricey compared to other cheesecakes. read more

Moving up the star rating because we moved back to the area and this has become one of our go to spots. Still loving the grilled cheese after all these years. Onion rings are delicious and we always try to check out the pie of the month- French apple January 2024 if you are interested. Service is still great and the people are friendly. We will continue to enjoy this spot. Burgers are consistently juicy and I like that I can order online and typically pick up in less than 20 minutes. read more

I've been coming to Nation's off and on for a few years. They are consistent in quality of food. What they do exceptionally well is service. I know they have a high turnover over and it's the nature of fast food. I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly attitude from Sam. She is new and she is still learning. Even though it was terribly busy, she was attentive and respectful. I was able to speak to the General Manager, Rina, and praise her for her management insight. What I've learned from managing people is, you can teach everything but a good attitude. I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting this dynamic duo. Yes, it might take time to get your food, but good food and service is worth the wait. read more

It was plus I have received a coupon in the mail buy one get one for a dollar so yes, I'm taking advantage of it. I'm not cooking today cheeseburger with fries and a drink and then a slice of strawberry cheesecake...for the dollar to go yes indeed. I'm actually waiting for my food. It's pretty busy in here today. The service is fair and if it's nice nice little glare of the sun and the ambience is great.
