I love that their service, regardless of day and time is very consistent. There dishes, salsas and chips have consistent quality and taste each visit. Drinks are great. I rarely have to ask for more drinks, salsa or chips. EVERYTHING I have tried on their menu is delicious. Recently went on a Friday for a 11 top bday party. Despite no reservations we were seated in under 15m I just love when restaurants stay consistent across their service and food quality.

I tried this restaurant after waiting anxiously for them to open. I arrived and gave my order in the drive thru and things went flawlessly. The order was right, food was great and service was quick. At the window the girl told me that they had sent people from California to get the store up and running. I really enjoyed the meal! The second time it took several tries for the person to get my drive thru order correct due to the traffic noise. Come to find out, the corporate people had left and returned home. Oh my! What a difference. Why they would put the speaker next to a busy intersection instead of the side of the building where there is nothing is beyond me. Finally she got it right and after I got home I found that there were no tortillas even though I had paid for two orders. The third visit was no better. I had to repeat my order to the employee several times again. Not because of traffic, but because she was simply not very bright. I asked for a two piece chicken combo with white meat, mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Had hard is that? I ended up having to give it to her one step at a time. What is wrong with this generation these days? They are just not very smart. She finally repeated it to me. I should have learned the first time and checked my bag before I left the window. The chicken breast had NO skin at all, and we all know that is where the flavor is. The Diet Coke was 100% flat! It tasted like it was poured the day before and left sitting out. I see no reason to give them a third try and am very disappointed in this store. I had high hopes, but won't be giving them another chance. Well after deciding to give them yet another chance, I went again. They are suppose to open at 10:30am. I went at 11:00am and found that they were not open at all. Their reason for not being open was "Sorry for your inconvenience". No real problem, but apparently they just didn't climb out of bed in time. I went to KFC, who opens at 10:00 and they were happy to sell me all of the chicken and sides that I wanted with no problem. Goodbye El Pollo Loco!
