I used to be a regular customer. With the food I got the last time I was there tells me why I quit going. This place used to be packed and now there's no one there. I will not be back. Last time I ate at north Canton the pollo loco is supposed to have the melted cheese and when the waiter brought it he tried to tell me that was $1.50 more. I told him to put the cheese on or keep it. It is on the menu. I don't know if he spit on it taking it back to the cook. Never again I cook better than that. read more

I went here for lunch yesterday with a group of colleagues. We sat down at 11:40 and ordered by 11:45, we had to be back to work at 12:30. 12:15 rolls around and still no food. When the food was brought out it was like no one knew who got what or what table it was supposed to go to. I order 2 steak tacos with only cheese and a side of rice. The 1st time they brought my food out at 12:18 it had lettuce on it. The 2nd time they brought out my food it still had lettuce on it. They certainly have the best margaritas in town however the food is just ok. I don't know what happened when the whole staff seemed to switch out like 2 years or so ago but the food has never been the same. read more

One of many revitalized former fast food buildings converted into a fantastic Mexican Restaurant. I come to Canton twice a year and make it a point to stop here for lunch while I'm there. Combo dishes are excellent and the portions are large. Food is fresh and delicious and the service is all-business and efficient. read more

This place is your standard combo plate Mexican joint, but a go to any time I'm nearby. Portions are huge, the chips and salsa keep coming, frozen margaritas are tasty, and the staff are super friendly to kids. We often have a big party, and the food still comes out fast. read more

Great place to have a nice Sunday dinner. Atmosphere is typical of a Mexican restaurant and the food is above average. The salsa has to much of a cilantro taste to it. Start with beef nachos and had a burrito superior for my entree which seemed small but the flavor made up for it's lack of size. Overall a good meal with great service. read more

We aren't from the area, but decided to eat here today for lunch because it's the highest rated in the Canton area. I'm a gringa, my husband is Honduran, and our friend is Mexican. We've been to Mexican restaurants all over Ohio. None of us plan to return to El Rincon. The rice was good, I put that in a box to bring home. They had beef Mexican street style tacos on corn tortillas , I got enchiladas supremes. Our food arrived super fast, so they do have that going for them. The chicken in my enchiladas tasted only of chicken, usually there's peppers and onions cooked with it to add flavor. That wasn't the case here. The beans were very thin, and ran all over the plates, they need to cook out a little more water. The taste of the beans wasn't that great, left them on the plates. The sauce one the enchiladas was good, not spicy at all. I'd play it safe here, and get fajitas, it's hard to cook those badly! read more

The Waiters care more about gossiping in the corner than taking care of the tables. When my food was delivered they asked if I needed anything else , I said yes more drinks and chips, the guy said ok and then went to the corner to gossip, 4 minutes later I had to get up and ask for my waiter, service is terrible! read more

Great, authentic Mexican food. Staff is really friendly, service is quick, and you can't help enjoying the kitschy atmosphere when you're there. Never had to wait for a table, even at peak time. Reminds me of some of the great little joints in Denver. read more
