The mofongo was topped with what tasted like a cilantro sauce, and there was some kind of crunchy element (maybe Cheetos or something similar?) that actually worked really well. I also want to mention that the man who took my order and brought me my food was very kind, and I didn't have to wait long at all, which I really appreciated. That said, cleanliness is a big deal for me. I tend to notice those things, and unfortunately, this is where my experience changed. The outside of the food truck looked dirty, and I noticed spots on the ceiling that made me a bit uneasy. Inside, I saw a young woman on her phone, talking with one hand while scratching her head with the other, and then grabbing aluminum foil--presumably to handle food. That really didn't sit right with me. While the food itself was flavorful, and I'm thankful the gentleman preparing my order was wearing gloves, the overall cleanliness concerns make it hard for me to return.
