There are no prices on the menu so I had to ask when I placed my to-go order. Burritos are $15 each, chicken quesadillas are just under $15. There's no extra fee for using credit cards or Apple Pay. We arrived to pick up our food and saw that Aliyah's is a humble shop located in the back of a convenience store. There are a few tables in a covered area. This is not a full service restaurant. If you want to dine in, you order at the counter and find a place to sit down. The lady employee was really nice and our food was hot and ready when we arrived. I asked for both the red and green sauce and they were both great, but just want to warn you that the red sauce is SPICY! I love spicy but this caught me by surprise. We got the chicken burrito, carnitas burrito, and chicken quesadilla. The burritos were pretty hefty in size and the quesadilla portion was big too! Flavors of all the food were fantastic, my whole family really enjoyed it! Definitely a hidden gem in the quiet town of Templeton, so if you're in the area, you should give it a try!

I did mention that the bell peppers were overabundant and cut too thick, but my feedback didn't seem to go anywhere. I had the Governator, which was crisp corn tortilla, smothered in melted cheese, and then sautéed shrimp, cabbage, pico de gallo, and a green sauce. I don't think I've ever inhaled anything so fast. I had an Al Pastor Sopes, a thick, round corn dough (masa) topped with cabbage, sour cream, cotija cheese, red salsa and green salsa. The beans complimented the pork and charred pineapple perfectly. I took a bite of the tamale. Yum. The menu stated ground beef but it was what I consider shredded beef. The beef was seasoned well, nice flavor. The sauce over the tamale was ah-mazing. I ordered a sope. I would have preferred the sope being fried a bit longer. It was on the softer vs fried crispy texture.
