This restaurant is conveniently located just outside the fashion show mall. Stopped in on Saturday after some shopping, had no wait at what I thought would be prime dinner time. Hostesses were nice and sat us somewhere we could keep our stroller with us and out of the way. Our server had approximately no customer service skills though, seemed impatient with us looking over the menu. We ordered their bottomless chips and salsa - delicious, but never once did they offer more or refill the red sauce that was eaten up nearly immediately. Ordered steak fajitas and a kids meal as well, again delicious but not once did our server check on us. No one offered a high chair and the server acted like we were inconveniencing them in asking. Amazing food, drinks, and service! This is the second time eating here and it was wonderful as to be expected. We sat outside near the bar. It has misters that will help cool you down on a hot day. We started off with the bottomless chips and salsa. You get 3 different salsas with the delicious, perfectly crispy chips. I ordered a Paloma and my mom ordered the sangria. Both were so delicious. I ordered the carnitas tacos platter and my mom ordered the green chile and cheese enchiladas. We absolutely loved it all. We had a great bartender/server named Josh who was super friendly and attentive. This will forever be a must do for every Vegas trip! read more

Its been two weeks and I'm still thinking about this ceasar salad...it was magical. I added chicken to it and let me just tell you--it had the best "dusting" of cheese on it...it was utterly fabulous. Additionally, the bottomless chips and salsa were unbelievably good and salted just the way I like(aka a LOT of salt). Our server was incredibly kind. Overall, 10/10 experience. You have earned highly rated reviews in the past, however the recent change to Happy Hour and ordering ala carte is driving me to rate lower. Happy Hour is now limited to a Marg and chips and salsa items. Gone are the days of selecting a variety of single tacos, and other Happy Hour choices. Cutting HH was a poor decision! Being a non-tourist routine business commuter to LV, I am seeking a reasonable, less filling option instead of an large entree. I was also told no more ordering regular priced ala carte options. Sorry El Segundo Team, I will be finding another mex option. (The bar top area appeared much less busy than past visits with only me and another diner seated at approximately 5:30pm). I had a feeling that the food would be terrible, and my suspicions were correct. From the $16 guacamole that was maybe 2 avocados worth to the chips that were soggy to the water down margaritas that were $20+ each. This is a never come back type of place. I tried the enchiladas and the sauce was bland, tortillas were hard. I had filled with shrimp, should have tried another protein (that's on me) but the only edible thing was the beans and rice. A 4 1/2 rating is probably more accurate but since I can't do that, I'll give it a 5. My girlfriend and I have gone to this place twice. It has become our go-to place for special occasions, such as anniversary or Valentine's Day. Simply put, this place is awesome!!! The servers are on top of things, friendly and courteous. They check on you the right amount--not too often to where it's a nuisance and not rarely when you have to catch their eye. The food? This is the BEST Mexican food anywhere in the city. By far. Hands down. The portions are huge and although it may seem pricey, you easily get 2 meals out of it. Why was I considering a 4 1/2? Well, the only drawback is the ambiance. The tables are packed somewhat tightly but the bigger drawback is the design. Rather than having a single door the entryway is very wide and when it's cold and windy outside, as it was for Valentine's Day, the outside conditions become inside conditions. We liked the vegetarian burrito enchilada style! The perfect amount of food for 2 of us to share. The green sauce has dairy and the staff was very helpful in letting us know that so we could have it on the side. Great atmosphere and great service. We also shared a 32 oz beer which was pretty good. I wish they had more ipa options and more exciting vegetarian options like some vegetarian meats. I'd go back if I'm ever in Vegas again. read more

I really wanted to like this place after reading other reviews about how good this place was. We orderd a round of drinks and 3 apps. The guac was made with unripe avocados and needed salt. The corn fritters were good. Drinks came well after the apps. The service was super slow. I couldn't believe how infrequent we were checked up on. One in our party was drinking only water and we had to constantly flag down staff for a water refill. We had 2 orders of enchiladas, an asada taco plate and shrimp fajita. Everything was bad. The chicken tinga and steak enchilada were bland. My theory is the tortillas made in house are made improperly and undercooked. This also in turn messed up the taco plate. The shrimp fajitas were okay but it would seem like they either use base low fat sour cream or a very poor Oaxaca creme. The black beans were okay on one of our 4 plates. They were not warm on 3 plates like they sat out for awhile. The cilantro lime rice was super al dente. To the point it was more on the raw side. Every bite had a mean crunch to it. read more

This is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants to eat at when I come to Vegas. The place is beautiful inside with nice decor. The service is always good and they cater to your needs. I like the corn fritters. It reminded me of a jalapeno popper but with corn instead. The enchiladas were also good. Filling for sure since I didn't finish up my food. The rice was my fav. The server was really rude and took forever to serve us but the restaurant was not packed at all. They forgot about our drinks and the food took forever too. They then mess up the food and didn't want to redo it. Disregarding the server, the food wasn't amazing either, as someone who's is Mexican and had so much Mexican food it my life it was so average at best. Furthermore, everything was weirdly spicy but for no reason. However, what I will say there ceviche was very good so that brought them up! The Mexican food place there seemed a bit overpriced for what they offer, there was no place to sit (Christmas Eve at a mall) and if I could find a table it would be disgusting. I decided to splurge and check out this restaurant. Clean dining area, great atmosphere, and delicious food. I feel like I spent exactly what I would have spent at the spent at the food court. I sat at the bar. The bartender was amazing even though I was only drinking Diet Coke. The only thing is, next time I wouldn't sit by the door. I was freezing. We had good service from start. I only wish when people clean the tables they also clean the chairs (table scraps fall onto the chair).
