Went looking for tacos after a long work day today, and I was recommended this spot from a family member to try out who lives nearby. It's at the corner of Lower Azusa and Arden in Temple City and conveniently has a drive thru. It seems to be an older place with lots of menu items like tortas, various tacos, and even pupusas. Today, my husband and I ordered an Al Pastor Torta and four Tacos to share (2 Al Pastor, 2 Asada), and we were pleasantly surprised how big they were. The tacos were about $2.60, so everything came out to about $21. The salsa Verde was okay. It was spicy but not the lemony flavor I was looking for. My husband was also searching for the Al Pastor pineapple flavor he's used to as well. Everything tasted pretty good anyway. It was seasoned well and took a couple of minutes to prepare, so it was fresh even through the drive-thru. We've had a couple of misses from tacos spots in the area, so this one might be a good one to come back to try again and even try out another dish. I've heard their birria is good. read more

We just happened to stop here on a whim. We ordered 2 asada combo burritos and some taquitos to share. The burritos were so big that we cut one in half and shared it and took the other one home. They are stuffed with meat, beans, rice, and cheese and it was quite delicious. The taquitos are overstuffed with meat and soooo good. Went to this location on April 28th at around 7:30 PM. Just ordered a burrito and fries on the side. I waited in the drive through line for over 15 minutes with no cars ahead of me. Finally got my order from them, yet when I got home, I noticed they gave me the wrong order (three tacos, instead of the burrito I ordered). I called them to let them know what happened. There was no remorse, no apology, no care whatsoever regarding their mistake. They said I could drive back to pick up my burrito, which was seemingly just sitting there getting cold. There was no effort to say anything comforting or apologetic. They could've easily said something like, "I'm so sorry for this mistake, please come on back and I'll have a fresh one ready for you when you get here, and let me throw in an extra taco or two as well for the inconvenience." Yet, there was nothing like that at all. This is just terrible customer service. You can tell there is no commitment to actually serving the customer. read more

This is a really cool spot with a drive thru. Ordered the House Super Burrito. I wasn't reading and was surprised that it's a wet burrito. But I'm not complaining. It was pretty good. The breakfast burrito was also delicious. We paid for some carrots on the side which usually is a turn off but they have a really good portion of carrots in a small bag. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star was I asked for pastor in my burrito and they gave me asada. So service was overall good but got my order wrong. Parking is easy with a lot. First time spotting this place and it has a drive thru. Pulled up on the drive thru and the service was great. For a Combination Burrito and a Pina Agua Frescas comes out to around $13.50. Very affordable considering the portion size and a medium drink. The burrito was good and has a good amount of meat/rice portions. Pina was also great and a bit less sweeter than other places I have tried before. Overall, I would come again and the workers seemed like humble hard working people. The burrito looks absolutely massive but half of it is shredded lettuce, it was a great addition because it added a nice crunch & freshness but my inner fat boy was a little sad. It also had carne asada, beans, rice, cheese, cilantro, & onion inside; served with sauce and cheese on top. It tasted great but I wish there was more meat, especially for 12 bucks. I use to come to this place often. Back then the food and service were great. Though I came I couple of times this month. First time I got a combo my beans tasted weird. Like spoiled. The rice was soggy. Not fresh and fluffy anymore. Today I order tacos, It was only me in the line. When I opened my bag there was no salt neither lemons or napkins. They just threw chunks of meat on my tacos. I wonder if you are not busy, why don't take the time to do a good service. I know we all have bad days. But really tacos without lemons?? He must be having a bad day cuz even when I picked up my food at the window I never got a hi or how's it going like good customer service. We ordered carne asada nachos, shredded beef tacos plate, torta de asada and tacos. Quick Service! Everything was great! The chips, rice and beans were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I base my Mexican food off of these 3 things as they are the base of Mexican food. We all devoured our food and the food didn't upset our stomachs. A big plus! The red salsa is my favorite and I like that they give chips with your burrito.
