I come to this restaurant at least once a week with my granddaughters and we always order the regular nachos and substitute the regular shredded cheese with queso cheese. I usually pay around $40 for 4 people each time we come. I went to pay my bill, the waitress had the nerve to tell me $62 for 3 regular nachos and one bean and cheese burrito!!! She then stated that they charged me 4.99 extra for each nacho which is bullshit! Their 4.99 side of queso cheese will smother your nachos and you you would not be able to eat it because it would be so doggone soggy!!!!! I am extremely pissed off and I will be back in the morning to speak with the manager. Two other customers stated they are full of crap by charging me this amount. I owned a mechanic shop 30 minutes away. Yesterday 11/26/24 I placed an ordered of 2 Tacos de assadas and 1 quesadilla my son picked them up. The Tacos were requested to have everything in them. The Tacos were prepared wrong. I contacted the restaurant today to get my replacement as i had spoken to Diego the day before. He kindly apologized and offered to replaced them then or I could get them replaced the next day. Which I did. He said just call in and pick them up. Well Mrs Juanita the owner as she said argued mocked and refused to replaced the ordered because she demanded for me to bring the Tacos from last night. She lacks 100% customer service! She argued. she was right 100% talked on top of a customer. NEVER apologized for the miss communication her employee offered yesterday . She obviously thinks people need to put away the food and give it back to her in order to get it replaced . I was offered the option. Service wasn't that great and the pastor tacos smelled and tasted odd (like old meat). The pastor didn't even look reddish hue it was just a brown color. Heavy on the onion, the carne asada was cooked fine but lacked flavor. By comparison, I've had some amazing carne asada tacos in Gainesville off Atlanta Hwy. The salsa was fresh and the chips appeared home made. There were flies everywhere inside the restaurant which is not a good sign for cleanliness and aligns with the most recent inspection rating. Located next to a gas station but you know what they said "don't judge a book by it's cover". This place is as good as it gets. Its a local favorite. They consider themselves fast food but I can't get over how fresh the food looks and taste. Its a full restaurant where you can sit down and order or if you can place an order to go. They do have daily specials for lunch and that's what we went for. I had the taco lunch special that comes with a can drink. The steak was grill fresh and its was juicy and tender. The sides is what you expect at any Mexican restaurant. When I got there, the kitchen was pretty busy and I think they could work on there ventilation. It was a bit smokey and later cleaned up. My wife is hard to please when it comes to Mexican food and when she ordered her quesadillas it came out really nice. When she enjoys Mexican food and you know it's a good place place worth is eating. I definitely plan to come back and try their other menu selection in the near future.
