The churrasco sandwich 9" was huge, the bread very good and overall great. We had an early lunch and the place was nearly empty. The menu prices online are no where close to reality. We opted for the 1lb Picada, which is a couple slices each of picana, churrasco, pork, small sausage. The meat was very tasty but the picana was very chewy. We shared this for $24 and it was just the right amount of food. For sides we got sweet potato and sweet kale salad (delicious!). These are optional and extra. For drinks we got red sangria. Super good and very large (worth the $16). This was my first visit to a El Toro Loco, and I was very satisfied with my meal. A little miffed that bread is not free and the music was waaaayyy to loud. I went here thinking it was going to be a somewhat affordable meal for me +1. They give you this weird looking menu that displays the prices in a very odd way so I just simply asked for a meat platter for two. Turns out the waitress upcharged me and served me the wagyu platter without warning. So we ate the platter and two appetizers and got hit with a bill for $250. And that $250 bill included a $38 automatic gratuity when the waitress barely did anything. She brought over two waters and 3 dishes. Super unethical practice. I absolutely love this restaurant chain. I've been a few times to the location on 8th street but I think this location is much better. As soon as you arrive, you're immediately greeted by a smiling hostess and seated. The vibe is great here. Music is going and it's a very vibrant atmosphere. A server took our drink order almost instantly. We ordered a traditional mojito and a Moscow mule. Our drinks not only came lightning fast, they were delicous. We ordered an appetizer of Frituritas De Malanga served with homemade liquid Toro Sauce - delicious! For our dinner entrées we ordered the following - Tbone steak with asparagus and salad. As well as the Ribeye with asparagus and a very delicious brisket tamal. I really enjoyed the tamal being made with brisket because I don't eat pork and tamales are usually made with pork. I love that all entrées come with 2 sides and there is a wide selection. I also loved the chimichurri sauce - yum. This place is so much fun to go to with friends. I've gone many times while in Miami and it is always a great place to choose to catch up in. The one complaint I'll add is after 6pm it is usually too loud. Onto the compliments! The place is lively and the food is fantastic. The filet mignon is usually my pick, but its best to ask the staff whats best based on your preferences - the picanha and churrasco are great too though. As for sides, the brisket tamale is good, mashed potatoes are a good pick, but I tend to get truffle french fries with whatever I am feeling that day. Lastly, I also always, always, always get the manchego croquettes with the guava sauce. That's a must! Enjoy!!! read more

This was my Fiance and I's first time here and we absolutely loved it. Everything was great, from the food, to the atmosphere and music and even the staff. The menu can be a bit confusing at first because there are many options of meat sampling boards, however Carlos Z (our awesome server) was able to explain how everything works for us as well as give us some amazing recommendations. Also, for the beautiful cuts of meat that you are served, as well as 2 delicious side options, I think the price was very fair. My fiance ordered the Wagyu Entrana special (per Carols's recommendation)and it was the most delicious and tender meat I have ever eaten. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We also had the wagyu tostones as an appetizer and I ordered a delicious filet mignon (which again was super fairly priced). I had heard a coworker of mine talk about how he drives down from Broward County at least once a month to come to El Toro Loco with his wife. So as I was thinking of a place to have lunch with some employees to reward them this place came to mine. It's pretty central in Miami and I had people coming from all over. One of the employees had been here before and recommended that we get a large platter to share which came with eight different sides. It was four of us and this was more than enough for us to all eat and for two people to take home. I really enjoy the meat. It was well cooked well seasoned tender. The pork belly and the sauce is absolutely delicious. All of the sides were yummy and fresh. This is definitely a great place to go for a good meal. It's great for small parties large parties. As a reviewer i will give this location a zero star but rated 1 due to the beverage were up to part. For starters, the waitress attempts to push premium dishes and cuts of meats without knowing the taste or the likes of the guests. Secondly the menu it's hard to read making the choices difficult to understand and the prices harder to read. This and more important food was served cold. My meats at my table were not served hot and the only hot items were the secondary dishes. Fourth the urgency for you to leave the establishment when you decide not to eat dessert. I was been push to the point that this was the fastest payment for a restaurant. Fifth the service fee of 20% added to a part of less than 4 people. I've eaten at the food truck on US1 but this was our First and last time at the restaurant located in Westchester. We order 1/2 lb of pichana and 1/2 churrasco. Pretty disappointing, the meat is not grilled or charred it's almost like eating prime rib or suvie. Also they completely forgot to add salt !!! If you like a well prepared steak like you'd find at a steakhouse don't bother coming to this place. The reason for my review is for the service we received after we got our bill. We noticed on the check they charged us a full pound of pinchana-- instead of 1/2 a pound. We asked for it to be corrected and refunded- which they did BUT on the way out they asked us for our left overs. WOW!! I was confused because at no point did the waitress say she made an error and that they gave us a larger portion which I was glad to pay for. However the pettiness to take our left overs, is sooooo unprofessional. When they were the ones who made the mistake. I give them 1 star because the sides were good -- other than that they just need to do better and treat customers with kindness. read more

I was immediately greeted as I entered the door, and the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and also explained that lunch starts at 11 am. Ordered a breakfast including 2 eggs (any way you want) with your choice of meat and toasted bread with a basket of fries. Order came with a small serving of ketchup (none on the table) and chimichurri. Everything was cooked great, and you can tell it was right off the grill. The surrounding area and vibe was very upbeat and had a very fun feel to it. I regret not getting the waitresses' names, but she even held the door open for me as I left and loved the customer service details given. Love every Toro Loco I go to. I don't know who the owner is but every single location has incredible service, great music/vibes, and awesome food! I usually have their avocado salad to start, also their yuca frita is BOMB DOT COM! Love their chicken a la planes, super flavorful, picana and really any of their steaks. It's all great and for the portions you get, very good pricing. Their sangria is so good too, love it, very sweet. Oh and i love their chimichurri sauce, the yuca garlic sauce, white rice and fries... i know it's weird to mention those things but they're really so good! Once entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed the themed because of the type of decorations used. There was wood all over the restaurant with some elegant lighting and fake fur booths. The captivating decorations created a setting of being in the country south region of Brazil ready to dig my teeth into some meat. I visited with a friend for brunch and we were satisfied leaving. The setting was attractive, our server Abraham was very pleasant and attentive, and the pricing was fair. However when I received my meat (picanha) it looked fairly dry, as if it was pre cooked. The meat was well seasoned but cooked well done which tasted bone dry. This is a little concerning considering this is a Brazilian meat restaurant.
