When my headlights stopped working, I called them, and Mike told me to bring my car in, and if the bulbs were out, he would replace them for FREE! So I brought my car in, and even though the shop was super busy, I left within 5 minutes with working headlights having paid NOTHING! He also checked my oil level to make sure it was good. Mike was polite and had great communication. A nice guy! Needed service for 70k miles on my Prius, and had been told by a previous body shop that I should get my transmission fluid changed. (Whatever, I don't know much about cars and don't care to learn that much tbh. As long as I'm in good hands at a fair price, I'm fine with someone else doing the thinking.) They ended up also recommending I replace the AC cabin filter (which had never been done in 6 years...), so I threw that service in too, since I felt the quote was fine. My car came back clean inside and out! (Yas.) Mike also recommended an additional service, but I'll hold off on that until a later time. If you have a Prius this is THE place for it to be cared for. Mike's warm hospitality and genuine smile was on display from the first call to the last goodbye handshake. I mean the guy's customer service runs circles around the best I've experienced in the past. No bullshit. I took my car in for the brake actuator to be replaced and had already researched what the average cost would be to replace it, so I wasn't shocked when he gave me the quote I was expecting. Even more, he gave me a general diagnostic over the phone that had confirmed what I thought the problem was (which to me exemplified a guy who knew his shit). Additionally, I wanted to get an estimate for what needed to be replaced or fixed next, and his thorough diagnostic inspired me to pull the trigger on other issues that needed to be addressed. In the end I spent more than I had intended, but it would have been more expensive if I brought it back on separate trips for each fix. And Mike even worked with me on trimming down some of the labor costs (he'll do a price comparison with you on what his hourly labor charge is verse what his competition charges). I mean I was very, very impressed with the service overall, and most importantly my car drives like new again. I will be bringing my car back for all future fixes in the future. Thank you! The Repairs done on my car were done using the highest quality parts, and they saved me just over $300.00 from what the dealer was charging me. A lot of people have referenced how great Mike (the owner) is, and in my limited interactions with him I can say that I had the same experience. I had been putting off some routine maintenance for a few weeks, and when presented with a surprise afternoon off I decided to see if anybody could see me last minute. Despite already having a somewhat packed schedule, they fit me in. The service was excellent, and the price was good for what I was getting. They also identified some cosmetic damage on my car that I had been putting off repairing due to the super high quote I'd gotten from somewhere else. Mike told me he could fix it for about $700 less than what I was told by the other shop, so I'm currently waiting for the part to arrive and I'll be back for that repair, as well as, I would expect, all future maintenance on my Prius. read more

I don't understand the hype of the reviews. I guess people are oblivious that they are overpaying and not shopping around, just throwing away money. I called in to get a price to replace spark plugs on my 3rd generation Prius. It's a bit of a pain so I rather have a professional do it. He told me $348!! Um what? This was the first place I called and that didn't seem right. I asked how much in just labor so I can bring my own parts he said $240.. wait what?! I called my local Toyota dealership and they did it for $170 parts and labor. HOW and WHY is the dealership cheaper than this place? I guess they take advantage of all the millennials that have money to burn and can't even change a tire to save their life. read more

Well I can finally say I have somewhere to take my Prius! 5 years in LA and it's always been a huge pain to get any work done on it, 90% of mechanics are afraid to touch hybrids with a 10 foot stick, and the Toyota dealership requires your second child as a down payment before they do any work. Mike and the guys here are friendly and specialize in hybrids so it was a breeze to drop it off and get it inspected by them. Ended up being quite a bit of work but all the prices were super competitive and Mike made sure to throw in some perks as well as rides to/from the shop. Just made the process as smooth and painless as possible. I don't know much about cars but after doing my own research and getting other quotes I'm pretty confident I got the best deal (and definitely the best service) on my Prius work. I don't think I would trust anyone else at this point and I will definitely be back. read more

This is going to become repetitive -- in a good way! I brought the Prius in for its second, regular maintenance visit, and the service from Mike and his team was just as amazing as before! I used to dread taking a vehicle in for service, but my experiences with Electric Avenue has completely changed my attitude. A second visit with my Kia Soul EV (early October 2017) proved to be just as satisfying! Mike and every member of his team are very attentive and sincere. I used to be quite apprehensive about bringing my vehicle in for service, but not anymore. I think that it's safe to say that I'll be a customer for life! Mike and his team are fantastic. I called somewhat at the last minute to see if they could do scheduled maintenance on our 2011 Prius, and Mike told me to swing by. Within a two-hour time-frame, they had completed the oil change, full inspection, and a complimentary car wash (a very pleasant surprise).
