Went in today and bought a Juiced e-bike and payed a good amount for it. The bike was pre-assembled by the shop, we rode it around in the parking lot and it seemed fine. This is the first preassembled E bike I have purchased so when I got it home, I wanted to check and make sure everything was correct and tight, it wasn't. The people that work there seem nice enough, but you could tell they just throw these bikes together in a rush, I found multiple bolts and fasteners loose, including the clamps for the front wheel and the front brake caliper was not routed correctly and the hydraulic line was rubbing on the rim. If I didn't inspect this I could've had a major incident with this bike . I'm happy with a bike just not the assembly job. If you want to purchase a bike here they have multiple brands and a good selection, but make sure if it's preassembled you check everything before you take it out on a long ride. read more

This is a brand new business in the heart of Dublin. It's across from the post office and car wash. So whilst your car is getting washed you can come over here and buy a new bike. Next door is the specialty wine business. I was warmly greeted by the friendly staffer, who explained some of the bikes they had for sale. It's a little spartan inside, so don't expect a lavish interior. Nevertheless they have a good assortment of inexpensive ebikes for sale. Almost all of them are the motor in the hub design. Cannot say enough good things about working with Electric Bike Center, particularly Dell, on the purchase of my first e-bike. I had an AVA Electric rebate, and had spent a month agonizing over which e-bike to buy. Finally narrowed it down to two major brands (Aventon and Velotric) and came to EBC to check out Velotric bikes. Not only was Dell from EBC super patient with my many questions and helpful on test rides, he really helped me figure out that a slightly less expensive bike (folding vs. non-folding) was a lot better for my needs, rather than taking what would have been an easy upsell to the pricier but heavier bike. I wanted a color that EBC didn't have in stock, and in the two weeks it took for the bike to arrive due to supply issues with the manufacturer, Dell stayed in constant contact with me. He went above and beyond to suggest items I wanted to add as modifications, and answered my many, many requests about what would work and wouldn't and regular check-ins on whether Velotric had shipped yet. He even texted me to let me know when he wouldn't be in the shop, and who to contact during his day off. (Shout out to Timur who was just as communicative as Dell!) I knew the delay was due to Velotric and other bike shops could have just brushed me off with "We'll call you when we have it" but Dell and Timur checked in frequently and proactively. I'm on my way to pick up my bike right now and I am so glad I made the hike from the Berkeley area to Pleasanton to shop with Electric Bike Center Dublin. They're setting a new standard for what customer service should be like. read more

Came in for a scooter repair. Had a solid tire installed on the rear drive wheel because I was sick of flats. There is usually only one person working so it can get busy when they juggle multiple customers, phone calls, and repairs. Be prepared to wait it out or come back later. Back to my repair. I dropped it off and returned a few days later after they called to let me know it was done. It didn't notice right away but the wheel wasn't re-installed correctly. It was missing an axle nut on one side. Luckily we didn't have an accident before I took it in again to have it corrected. 2 trips and $120 later the scooter is up and running again. Only deal with the Russian for scooter related repairs. He's by far the most experienced scooter tech there. They have a good selection of E-bikes. A vast majority of the inventory are of the throttle equipped rear hub drive variety. Their website accurately describes what they carry. read more

All was fine for testing and sitting on the ebike, XP4 750. I then put a down payment on the bike but was never told that it would not be ordered until they were to put in a bulk order. I also found out that I would have to drive to their shop to pick it up, which I was not told. I called back the next day and asked for a refund so I could order it online and have it shipped directly to my home. They eventually called me and told me they had one at the store and would prepare it and the owner/manager would personally deliver it to my home. Today they called, and during the call I asked whether the seat with the backrest was included in the order, since the price did not reflect that. I was told that the seat was only for the trike. Whoever called me on 8/17 got upset and said, why not just cancel the order and that they would refund me since that seat was not for the XP4. I went to the main company website and found it under accessories for the XP4 and ordered it. I found that this particular shop is not very informed about the product. I realized I knew more about what I was ordering than they did. I recommend ordering through the online store on the main site. I hope repairs and support are better than sales. read more

Nonexistent customer service. The employee seemed annoyed as soon as I walked in, even though the place was empty. He was too busy on a personal call to acknowledge me as a customer. I ended up going to Niles Bike Shop instead, where I purchased my eBike and had a much better experience. read more

Worst repair service ever. I took the my scooter in because it had an error code. They told me it would take about two weeks because they were busy, I said ok so I left the scooter with them with the charger in case they needed it. I waited 3 weeks and called them and they sounded annoyed and told me one more week and I said ok. So a full moth pass and I decide to go over to see what's going on and they told me that they were barely going to start working on it to just leave it and that they would call me when it's ready. So I leave it and another moth passes and I get no update so I decided to just go pick it up. When I get there they had a mess scooters just piled on top of each other we couldn't find mine and when we did I asked for my charger and he said he didn't know where it was so he starts looking for it but doesn't find it and tells me to leave it again that he would work on it right away and look for the charger, so I give them one more chance and left it. Another moth passes, a total of 3 months so I decided to go and pick it up.when I show up this time he doesn't say anything he just gives me my scooter and I leave. I don't recommend this for anyone looking to get a repair. If the ant fix it they should just be honest and stop waiting people's time. read more

My son's electric scooter needed a rear tire replacement. I managed to remove the flat tire and tube but it was super difficult to get a new one onto the wheel. So I began calling multiple places. It was frustrating since majority of the repair shops refused to touch electric scooters. However, I stumbled upon the Electric Bike Center who was the only shop that was willing to help out. The guys at the shop were super friendly and helpful. They had the appropriate tools and were able to get the tire on super quickly. Thank you Electric Bike Center! read more

We first went to another bike shop and was quoted a ridiculous amount to fix a wheel with a one week waiting period. This shop fixed it for a very reasonable price and did the same work within an hour. Super helpful, professional and responsive. Highly recommend!!! read more
