I am really disappointed . I am a customer at that place and i went today to do pedicure the lady who work their asked me what i need to do and i let her know that i want to do pedicure with french she started doing my toes then she did it so bad and ugly and i just told her that the french line was little bit wide she was not done by the way she was doing the fourth toe then she removed everything thing and told me that she needs to leave and i have to leave the place right now!!!!!!!! Pedicure was great $25. However gel manicure was a disaster. I was charged $23 for pink shellac polish (no acrylic) that a man did. My nails were noticeably unevenly filed, the curing machine burned 6 of my nails making them look yellow on the tips and he didn't even correct it. I was in the neighborhood and needed a fill. I checked yelp and called to see if they could get me in and the lady said yes. The place is cozy and yes a little outdated and dusty. The husband did my nails and did a good job. It did take almost double the time it usually does but I wasn't in a rush so it was fine. They had price is right on tv so I watched that. This salon is a bit small and very busy, but it was worth the wait! My appointment was at 11 and I was seen about 15 minutes later. An employee apologized many times but it was no big deal to me. I gave Elegant Nails 2 stars because of the price but they have horrible customer service! I wanted to get a third coat of polish on my nails because I could see through my nails when I went outside so I called to see if Kim was working and the lady who answered was arguing with me about it (which is the same lady who did my eyebrows)! Saying we can't do that you already did 2 coats it won't look good we can only put top coat on but next time don't ask us or you can go somewhere else! She keeps going on and on about it! I went in and she started doing the same shit again! Kim seriously put only a top coat over my nails which is not what I wanted! The lady (forgot her name she does waxing) literally said no we can't put another coat of polish. I gave them both a great tip when I first went in so I don't know why she was being so damn rude! I decided to try this place out after reading the reviews. I definitely plan on going back. I would suggest making an appointment though. I went in about 11am on Friday. There was 3 people working and 3 customers in the shop. They said about 20 minutes, which I was fine with. I was prepared to not sit down as soon as I walked in. 3 other people came in while I was there, 1 with an appointment, 1 made an appointment for an hr later, the other left. The gentleman in the shop gave me my pedicure. The bottom of my feet are so soft and my massage felt great. There was no rushing here! Spa pedicures are $20. Afterward, not sure if I'd go back. I was in desperate need of a fill. The last place I went to failed me miserably. All my nails lifted really bad. 6 nails fell off. I decided to try this salon while visiting family in Cali. They took me right in. Kim, the lady who did my nails was extremely personable. She brought me an ice cold water and let me choose a color. She brought my nails back to life. I have been sick for so long that I had let my feet go. They started to look like more chicken feet then anything else. After much yelping I stumble across this place that was on my way home. I went on a walk in and was taken on the spot with no wait time. Because of the condition of my feet I decided on the $30.00 VIP Spa pedicure treatment. For almost two long hours the girl working on me transformed my feet back to being human. Throughout the whole time I was nervous but she was very polite, careful, diligent and patience. Taking time to weed out the dead skins and scrub off the excess callus. They offer you a bottle of cold water and taffy. I am satisfied and will be coming back. read more

By far my favorite nail salon. I drive all the way from midtown to go get my nails done the! Everyone does a great job there. I have yet to have a bad experience. I normally get white tips but I tried gel shellac three weeks ago and they still look perfect! They also made my nails look perfect like they have fake tips but it's my natural nails. The pedicures are literally to die for. $20 for gel nails and $20 for basic pedicure.... Which is far from basic. I mostly do the full one for $35 because I love the wax and stones but they do the same exact thing on the basic $20 one. They have specials for kids as well. My go to nail salon! read more

I have visited Elegant Nails two times now and have enjoyed the experience each time. My last visit was particularly wonderful. They accepted me 45 minutes before close for a pedicure and shellac nails. The services took us way over closing but they remained friendly and accommodating, and didn't rush the service at all. They do awesome shellac manicures here but the wait time can be ridiculous. My, the owner is super sweet along with her staff. Plus you can't beat the prices! I agree with other reviewers that the manicures take a bit of time but they are pros! My manicures last for 2-3 weeks and I do a lot of computer work and cooking! read more

My daughter and I went there yesterday for pedicures. They get one star even though my lady was very nice. The lady that did my daughter's feet was bored, kept looking around, and barely touched my daughter's feet. The owner was gossiping with another customer about the customer's neighbor who is also a customer there (very rude and inconsiderate when that lady wasn't there to defend herself). It was very uncomfortable for us to listen to. At the end when I was ready to pay the owner kept telling me she couldn't put tip on the credit card. She said she can't give the tip money to the girls. Seriously!!!! Just pull the money out of the cash drawer and give it to them!!!! We will not go back there and I already told all of my coworkers to avoid the place. Horrible customer service. I feel sorry for the employees that might get smaller tips because of thier owner. read more

I'm beyond please with my experiences (more than one here people) very profession and clean. Mai the owner did an incredible job. Got the pedicure with shilac done very gentle and took her time. Got rid of the dead skin and cut then perfectly. Her husband is also the owner and was did a wonderful job on one of his customers. Very cozy feel. Love them! I came on Valentine's day, my usual nail place was too far away for me to drive with my eyes dilated, so I came here. And I got a fill and a pedicure...very rushed job still have some bumps that they didn't shave down. Also I didn't get color on my nails but for one finger and they still charged me the full extra amount for the gel polish. Also the gel color they put on my toes was not the one I wanted but were going to charge me to take it off and to put another one on so I left with it. We were in a hurry and had to be somewhere at 1 so they squeezed us in. The guy ended up doing both of our nails, he was rushing and it was terrible. I wanted round nails and he made them square. I told him over and over and over again I want it round and he kept trying to make it round but it looked no different, and I finally gave up. After I finally selected my color he spent 5 min trying to find it, turns out they're out. I picked a different color. If you're looking for a place with hygiene and cleanliness. Definitely not the place for that. Everything is dusty, dirty and old. But for $20 gel manicure it's not so bad. The nails weren't bad but it's not worth it cuz what if you get an infection. No sign of sterilization for anything. I don't know why I didn't say anything about him reusing things but I didn't want to be THAT person. I just won't come back. But seriously be wary. There's much better places for the price. I went to get my nails done for my wedding day based on the above review and convenient location. However, it was a disaster. First, I asked for fiberglass and they put acrylic on! I know they were aware of what I asked for because they charged me at the fiberglass rate. They simply assumed I wouldn't know the difference. A few of the nails were glued on VERY crooked and there are air bubbles in every nail! When I asked them to fix it they said there was nothing they could do. Then they had the nerve to act like I was disturbing them showing them what was wrong with my nails. Yes, they do have great prices, I should have known that you get what you pay for! I am so embarrassed of my nails and was so disappointed. I only hope I can get them off soon. read more

I love this place. They are always all so nice to me and I've honestly fallen asleep here while getting a pedicure I was so relaxed. $20 shellac (gel) manicure! Can't beat that. I always ask for an extra layer since I work in the dental field and wear gloves and use a lot of sanitizer and soap so the extra layer helps it stay longer. They usually last me about 3 weeks! I have only gotten gel manis and pedicures here but I've been going at least once a month the last year. They're awesome! read more

I took my sister here for her birthday. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my nails. If I want them to look like a 5 year old did them I would do them myself. But here they take their time, it's almost like artwork to them. We were there for a little over an hour and it was perfect. The floor isn't the cleanest.
