Despite the chaos, all of the staff handled it so well, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our server Madison was fun, funny, and handled a stressful situation with so much grace, while also serving two tables of twenty-plus guests each. Not to mention, all of the food was f$cking fantastic and the pours were strong! Highly recommend the Korean friend chicken and poke nachos. All of this to say, we don't live in Sacramento but we will definitely be back when we're in town thanks to Madison and the wonderful staff.

We were lucky enough to find parking right in front, which felt like a win because parking in this area is pretty tight (and we didn't notice any handicap spots nearby). We were seated right away on a quiet Tuesday evening. Our waitress was friendly, though she wasn't very present throughout the meal. We did have to flag down another server a few times for quick questions, but it wasn't a big deal since we weren't in a rush. We started with their happy hour Justin Cabernet, which was flavorful and a great way to kick things off. For appetizers, we ordered the tuna poke nachos (with rice instead and no sauce), the giant pretzel, and the sweet and spicy shrimp--grilled instead of breaded to keep it gluten-free, which we really appreciated. For our entrees, we both chose the salmon--mine without sauce and hers as prepared. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. We ended up taking half home for our husbands to try... bonus meal for them!

From what we saw around us, the other dishes looked just as good. Service and coffee, however, could use some improvement. Our server said "I got you" every time she left the table, which became a bit distracting, and she didn't always return with what we asked for. She only checked in once during the entire meal. As for coffee, they clearly don't specialize in it, so I wouldn't bother ordering a cappuccino or anything similar next time. Overall, the food alone makes it worth returning. We'll go back, just with a better idea of what to order, and hopefully with a different server. The bathroom is shared and is part of the building. Odd and not well kept.

You go up to the counter to tell the waitress that you're there and then she told us to take any seat and brought us menus later. The the place is small and the only I don't know a few tables on one side but there's another long row of tables to the right of the counter. There's a secret menu with the QR code to get other items to order. I start out with a hot chocolate with no whip cream and they used a frother so that was nice. So after looking over the menu we finally ordered my wife got the waffles and then she added soft scrambled eggs and hash browns. The waffle came out cold or not cold actually warm the eggs were overcooked and definitely the hash browns were burned. I ordered the kitchen sink with steak and I asked her to do it medium rare the kitchen sink was really good and the steak was cooked perfectly I really liked it. I also got an order of french toast but it came out and it wasn't warm it was only warm but the fruit was really fresh it had didn't lacked flavor We were very disappointed since we saw this on the internet and thought it was going to be really good. The couple behind us had chickens and waffle and their waffle wasn't cooked thoroughly and the chicken was raw and she thought it was frozen so they returned their food I didn't bother returning any of our items I later heard from the waitress that the restaurant was closing. I asked her what was going on and she said that they just got informed Friday that the restaurant was closing Sunday which was tomorrow for good the rent was raised $3,000 more a month and the chef couldn't owner couldn't afford that and told him on Friday that they're closing Sunday so pretty disappointing it could have been or was I supposedly a good place but now because of the price they're not going to

Cheesy bread with marinara was great and fresh, Grilled corn ribs were spot on, but my west side pizza was delicious! It was so fresh and flavorful and the pesto drizzle on top was perfect! A little pricey for some of the items on the menu but there was a good variety. Service was excellent, water jug at the table for ultimate refills but the server did check up on us a few times. A ton of tables outside and some lounge chairs and fireplaces so a cool night spot to hangout at. Would recommend!

First off- the Caesar salad was actually pretty bad, the dressing was watered down and didn't represent what a "Caesar" dressing truly is. The salad itself self didn't resemble a Caesar salad. I added grilled chicken and was choking it down it was so terribly dried out and awful seasoning- not anything I'd want to eat by itself let alone on a Caesar salad. I'm not sure who decided "this is a great salad, let's put it on the menu." Seriously please reconsider how this salad is done. My boyfriend's French fries were also soggy. Like he said last night, the quality has declined. Hopefully this review is truly considered as we love coming to 747 but if the food quality doesn't get better we will only spend money on drinks here.

I live by Obo, I've been to the other location, and I've been to the Kitchen twice, so I'm familiar with the Selland family. In the end, you are getting a quality meal in a contemporary and clean setting - what more can you ask for? I always opt for the tuna melt. It's a healthy dose of tuna with cheese on buttery sourdough. I've been trying to be more carb conscious, so I opted for the side salad. It was a great lunch. The bread wasn't too greasy and there was a great portion of tuna on it. Each bite was full and buttery. The side salad was beautiful and it was topped off with fresh strawberries which are in season now. It was paired with not overwhelming vinaigrette. There are a plethora of hot items, sandos, salads, and other items to choose from. It's somewhat of elevated, classic lunch joint. My only grip is that it is $$$, but inflation...am I right? Without a drink, i left with a $25 bill. Could have put it in the 3 star realm for me, but it was a solid meal and cool atmosphere. Seems like a great spot for a drink, to eat outside, or for a casual, healthy lunch that is on the expensive side. 12pm-1am is a hot time to go. Parking may be tough, so you may need to park on the side or come at a different time.

Honestly, one would have been plenty for the two of us to share. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want in your rotation: great prices, delicious food, and an easy place to unwind after work. I would absolutely come back for happy hour.
