I have been going to this shop for a decade or so. Ed is the most honest mechanic I have ever known. As a woman, I feel comfortable going there alone and I know I won't be ripped off. My mom had taken her truck to 5 mechanics who told her that it needed a new engine. When Ed looked at it, he was honest with her and told her that her problem could be easily fixed with a few inexpensive new parts. My mom got five more years out of that truck. I've been to this shop over the last 20 yrs. today, i had my car towed in with a radiator hose that came off. They said," it was the clamp". Shawn and the fellows took care of it all in an hour of time, along with an oil change and a replacement of a light bulb. Not to mention how nice they are too and reasonable. Took the 2005 Denali XL in to have them repair the one of the rear windows that did not work. Described the problem over the phone and made an appointment for the next day. It took them only one hour to perfectly fix it. The cost was extremely reasonable and the owner (Ed) was genuinely kind. His son (Ed Jr.) did the work and was just like his Dad. I am very very pleased with my experience with Elite Car Care. It's like finding a good Dentist, but even more so that when you finally find an honest and good mechanic, you keep them forever. After searching endlessly for an affordable shop that changes oil and services brakes, I stumbled across Elite Car Care. Their manager Shawn is helpful and very knowledgeable, which you don't always see in a front-desk-person. Unlike many auto shops that simply do the task you pay for, Elite Car Care services your car the way it should be serviced! I came in for an oil change and brake replacement. I assumed my brakes needed to be replaced because we put 60,000 miles on them, but they showed me that my brakes still had a lot of life in them! As a woman who has taken a few auto mechanic courses, I've come across quite a few shops that have tried to take advantage of myself and others who aren't very knowledgeable about cars. ok be careful, brought my car in to replace a broken alternator, replacement done now i have a broken hood support, he say i say. It was working for the AAA person to check the electronics. Also, they not provide a written estimate when i drop off my car. Suggestion, stand and watch them work. Can not be trusted in my book. read more

Came here to get a smog check. My car was making a weird sound when I came in. Edd's mechanics took a look and diagnosed the problem for me (water pump was about to blow)! Edd explained what the issue was, how much it would be to fix and all the other questions I had. Got a fair price and was told how to handle the issue until it could come in to have it repaired. Expert staff, the finest, nicest and most professional mechanics I have come across in my time as a car owner. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs work done on their car. Outstanding work! I talked to the owner Sean about servicing my 2009 Mini Cooper. I was a little worried due the the nature of my cars makeup i couldn't go to just anyone. I read up reviews and spoke to him over the phone about it and he calmed my nerves. He assured me he could do the job and it would only take at most 2 days to finish. He researched the price and got me the lowest estimate i'd received including taxes. He was even patient making time for me so he could fit my car in and make it top priority! I did get slightly nervous when he pointed out another problem with the car but again he assured me he would only replace the part with my consent and instead for now he would try his best to resurface it. His customer service was absolutely amazing and his team was just as kind. One worker not only threw in a car wash but he threw in an extra servicing to my transmission which he didn't have to do free of charge. They're all so polite and professional they have definitely earned my full trust with my car. I will definitely be going back to them for more servicing with my car. Elite Car Care is also home to Palmdale Test Only smog check. I came here today to get my car smogged. I also came here two years ago. There are several shops between where I live and this shop and we all have choices. I see many shops listed in the Penny Saver and with coupons are a bit cheaper than this shop. So why would I go the extra miles? The reason is I am an old man and I like doing business with people and companies that treat me with respect..polite and I feel they are very authentic. The icing on the cake is that Eid the technician is 1st rate...he really knows his stuff. I don't know about you but when it comes to my car I only want someone that I KNOW is on the ball...someone with integrity....and that's what I get here. If you need a smog you can come here with confidence....it's been a pleasure. The only thing that would make this shop better is if they put a small buffet in the waiting room but I doubt that is going to happen...as young people say these days..these guys are the BOMB! read more

Went to get a quote on fixing my right rear window and was greeted by the staff who was very friendly and attentive. Met with the owner Ed who was a very pleasant and friendly man who told me what the problem was and how much it would cost and I just felt comfortable with his assessment and got the work done April 12, 2014. Ed jr worked on my vehicle who also was a very pleasant and friendly guy who fixed my window in under an hour. I was very very pleased with the work. Elite car care will be the place I take my vehicle in the future for all of my vehicle repairs. Ed sr even gave me an extra discount on the repair which he didn't have to do.
