I have been going to Elite Nails for about 4 years now. I do my nails with Lynn. She is a perfectionist, i dont even have to tell her what and how i want it done, she does her job 100%. They have a great airbush technique that gives u tons of options for designs, different french styles, flowers, prints with colors etc. Another big deal for me is that I want my nails to look as natural as they can, and when i do my nails with Lynn people dont believe that they r fake. They are my go-to nail place in La Jolla. Came here to get a regular mani and took my bf's mom and sister (their usual place down the street was so booked up). Glad we came here because they had immediate openings for all 3 of us and the environment looked much cleaner and relaxing than the other place. Also, I noticed that they have almost twice as much more polish color choices compared to the other salons. My bf's mom got a gel mani and pedi. It was her first gel mani and she was impressed and happy with the job. She also had a bruised finger on one of her hands which unfortunately the red polish didn't cover. So her nail technician kindly painted a flower to cover up the bruising for FREE! And as usual, they did an excellent job on my mani. However, they did forget a to do a paraffin on my hands but the manager immediately apologized and offered me a free paraffin on my next visit so I wasn't too disappointed. I LOVE this salon. My Mom brought me here for my wedding back in 2013 and I've never done my nails anywhere else! The woman who does our nails is named My she is amazing. Her work is quick but efficient and I always take her advice on what colors to get and they turn out amazing. I always get my nails done by Nina because she is time efficient and ALWAYS does an awesome job. Usually you don't get what you want if you're at a salon for 30 min but she is good at what she does! She will always make sure you like what you're getting and always will squeeze time for you, ex. So, I tried to take my mom here to get a pedicure for her birthday. We came at 5:00 PM and we were told, and I quote "We don't have time" mind you, the hours posted outside the salon say they close at 7:00 PM. When we asked for clarification they said they just didn't have time without even giving a reason or apologizing. We were in the parking lot trying to find another nearby nail salon that might still be open when we saw another customer walk in and was seated in a pedicure chair and was helped almost right away. Wow! Had a great experience here. I walked in looking for a pedicure and I came at the right time. One lady was available by the name of Lynn. I picked a color and then she set me up in my massage chair. She was so nice! I feel like stereotypes ruin these kind of places. Lynn was so friendly and kept a conversation with me the entire time. I have now became a regular at Elite nails. Lynn is amazing and always does a great job. I love how the staff don't constantly talk to each other while they are busy working on a customer. Found my new nail salon! Lynn is amazing!! It's close to my office and as long as I make an appointment (even just an hour ahead of time) she gets me in, and doesn't rush! My nails last 3 solid weeks and still look awesome! They have a HUGE selection of gel colors and most have the exact match in regular polish for my toes. I go here all the time and it's been my favorite place to go during my lunch time for like 7 years now. I love how freiendly they are and quick to go during my hour lunch time. Their prices are very reasonable and now I'm even more happy since they got new chairs : ) It's not a very fancy place which is probably why they can keep their prices low. After searching for a great nail place, I FINALLY landed here. Elite nails is in a small shopping center. You can grab a coffee from Coffee Bean and head over for a great service. I have had so many bad pedicure experiences, but this place is AWESOME. I got a pedicure from Nina, who spoke perfect English, was warm and did a great job on my toenails! It is less expensive than most places, I think only $19 for a pedicure. The shop was clean, they're chairs are comfortable and the environment is nice. My only complaint is that I wish they had a larger polish selection ( I really like OPI and bright colors.) This will definitely be my go to nail place.
