Came in after Pilates with some girlfriends for brunch. Place was crowded but we didn't have to wait long for a table. The walls and decor are light colors and it really brightens things up. Service was great, food was even better. I had the toughest time deciding what to get. Can't wait to come back to try lunch!

On a quick trip to visit family in Park Ridge (suburb of Chicago, IL), we enjoyed brunch at Elia Cafe on a Wednesday morning before 11am. Our server was friendly and seated us in a bright window booth. He was helpful in answering our various questions about drinks and menu items. The food was tasty and we had a very pleasant brunch. The place is bright and clean. It is spacious if you have bigger groups, too. They also offer baked pastries and items along with hot drinks at their front counter in case you want a quick bite to take away.

Kalamata frittata. I travel a lot. This has to be one the best cafe breakfast places I have been to in the country. Great job!!

I always try to search for great local places while traveling. This time it really paid off. Amazing food great clean atmosphere and friendly service. Going back today.

Excellent service, bright and clean. Liked the menu options. Food was very tasty Totally recommend

I've been to a lot of brunch spots, but Elia Cafe really stands out. The atmosphere is welcoming without trying too hard, and the food speaks for itself--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with intention. Every dish we tried felt well thought out and balanced, not just for presentation but for taste too. It's the kind of place you leave already thinking about your next visit. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area

I don't know why but lately some business and I have been getting off on the wrong foot- Elia being one of them. When my family of 9 and I arrived on a very busy Sunday, we were advised that it would be a 30 minute wait. Thirty minutes is somewhat doable with two toddlers and a 6 year old but then that 30 minute wait became an hour and thirty. Omgosh, the kids were losing it. The worst part is that we didn't know that if you're coming in as a group of +10, you should call in to make a reservation. I was hopeful. As God as my witness, the only reason I managed to convince my family to stay that long was because the ownership was genuinely sorry and kept communicating to us how they're trying to find us seats. To their defense, some customers with big groups paid their checks but would linger around and what is the ownership supposed to do? Tell them to leave? I understand their predicament and then after an hour and half, they finally got us seated. I mean they literally put together the table in front of us and forgot to bring the silverware but it's okay, we were just grateful to be seated. The ownership again came over to apologize for the inconvenience of waiting so long and brought over loukamadis (sorry for the bad spelling) on the house. They were SO delicious- if you've never had them they are fried pieces of dough covered in honey- so good. The waiter came over almost immediately and was very sweet. We all ordered our food and were shocked by how quickly it arrived. In true Greek hospitality fashion, the portions were generous and so delicious. I haven't had a genuinely delicious salmon egg Benedict in a minute so I honestly had very little expectations but OMGOSH, when it arrived I was like okay this looks promising. It was absolutely delicious- I didn't order it with capers because I saw they had an olive spread which is salty in itself but the olive spread along with the egg and smoked salmon with the hollandaise over it was nothing short of heavenly. The hash browns were also cooked to perfection. Needless to say my entire party of ten was silent eating their food and the only comment made was "well, that was worth all theeeee wait" haha. I also tried the stuffed Dubai chocolate French toast- equally delicious but the topping on the cake for me was the cappuccino. The atmosphere was very chill, this place could be easily marketed for a beautiful baby shower or bridal shower venue (if that's something that's offered) but plenty of space. What struck me the most was that this is a family run operation and not just that, you could easily see the cohesion between the family and there was order- one of the siblings was in the kitchen overseeing the food and orders, another one managing the seating and another one overseeing the customers. Please check this place, you won't regret it. I know I'm still thinking about the food.

A casual sit-down place with friendly staff and delicious food! Lots of healthy options and the interior looked super clean. I also loved the music playing -- aughts indie rock. I hope to eat here again.

I loved Elia. I get my dog groomed in Park Ridge so need a breakfast spot to eat in while he's being groomed. Some places I've tried aren't very good but Elia was excellent. It's a beautiful space with an interesting menu. Staff was friendly and just need a little bit to get their timing down. My sister had the village omelette and I had the Nova Lox bagel platter. Everything was delicious even the simple tomato and cucumber salad with mine. I definitely will eat there again and hope I'm more adventurous.

One of the prettiest cafes I've ever been too. It was calming me the minute I walked in with the light beiges and greens and browns. Very clean as well. There were so many good options on the menu. The food we had was pretty good. My eggs saganaki was quite salty but everything else we had was pretty good. The Wagyu hash skillet was our favorite. Service was great. There's a parking lot next door and walkable distance to the restaurant.

Parking lot for Elia Cafe and Rear Entrance.

Not a traditional breakfast spot, yet very nice and my breakfast was on point. The service was great, everyone was friendly. The restaurant is super clean. I tried the Pistachio Latte with oat milk and it was EXCELLENT. I also went with the Traditional Breakfast Eggs over medium, bacon(cooked perfectly) Sourdough toast and fruit(Fresh and Sweet). There are Fritatas and Benny's on the menu as well as fresh in house baked goods. I tried to substitute my toast for a croissant, but they were being baked and not yet ready... my timing was a bit off. None the less, I enjoyed my experience and I think you will too. BTW, they offer Military and Police Discount

This cafe restaurant is a must-try! It is new to Park Ridge, officially opening this week. The menu is very interesting and elevated with Greek influences throughout. It's got a good balance of savory & sweet, breakfast & lunch options as well as fresh pastries and juices. The prices are good too. I had the avocado toast which was served on Greek sourdough bread. It was very tasty. I am picky about breads so the Greek sourdough was a hit for me! My friend had the breakfast burrito which she enjoyed. The portion size was generous and she had lots to take home too. The owner brought us a Date Ricotta French Toast to try which was a lovely treat and really delicious. We will definitely order this again. We had drip coffee which had good flavor, they serve illy brand. The interior has had a fresh makeover and looks really nice. The service was excellent. Our glasses of water & coffee were constantly topped up. The owners were both on the floor greeting guests, which was really nice. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu! They surpassed our expectations today. There is free Wi-Fi available. You can pay your tab by QR code on your check and even order at the table by QR code however they provide full service and we had a server today who was amazing!

Nice Greek toast and jam

Stick with their featured dishes and you can't go wrong. The Pistachio Pancakes were better than advertised, and the Fig and goat cheese frittata was excellent. By I ordered a Greek Salad and to my amazement it included NO lettuce. So the waitperson offered that they could bring some lettuce and had the nerve to charge me for it! I'm sorry but Greek restaurants always produce a terrific Greek Salad. It's a simple recipe: Romaine, tomatoes, olives, peppers, red onions and feta cheese. Sorry, this is a big miss. If you don't add a protein , it is basically a relish tray of olives, tomatoes, onions and feta. Buyer beware! And stick with the house specials.

Finally, a higher end breakfast shop in PR. My favorite is the chia seed pudding. Who thought eating healthy could be so delicious!

(Sorry, no pictures this time! I was enjoying my food so much that I completely forgot.) The ambiance is welcoming, bright, and modern, and the restaurant is much larger than I expected. Everything was clean, and our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Lox Plate, and it was outstanding. The salmon had the perfect texture and seasoning, the cucumbers and bagel were fresh, and all of the flavors paired together beautifully. I love seeing lox on a menu, but many restaurants either don't do it well or serve portions that are too small. Here, everything was spot on, and the portion was generous enough that I left completely satisfied. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal, and my husband and I have already said we'll be back very soon. This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, especially since there aren't many local breakfast spots nearby that aren't part of a chain. Highly recommend!

That said, there are so many options, particularly for this vegetarian and egg hater. Pro tip: Make a reservation! The place had a solid wait from the time we arrived until we left. Service was ok, spotty at bits, but I also attribute it to the place being busy. We had to ask a second time for some missing items. To eat, I got the berry crepes and a side of hash browns with cheese. My friend got the eggs Benedict with a side of pancakes. The crepes were very good, but I preferred the bites without the berry mascarpone filling. The side of pancakes my friend got was huge, this would be plenty as a main. They are very good at accommodating larger parties, but do wait to seat you until your party is all there.

I had expected more pancake options on the menu since it is a pancake cafe but there are ~4 options available (aside from the standard buttermilk and gluten free ones). I had the California omelet (avocado, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese) with hashbrowns and pancakes. I upgraded to the berry pancakes (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries) for an upcharge. My child had the pancakes from the kid's menu which came with two small pancakes and a meat of her choice (she chose bacon). Food took some time to come out and we had to ask for water. My omelet was decent but the hashbrowns were overcooked and dry. The berry pancakes were just okay. There was fresh fruit on top but I didn't care for the berry drizzle on top of the pancakes as it tasted artificial. The kid's meal was very plain (I don't know what I expected) and I should have shared my meal with my child since she ended up eating all the berries off my pancakes anyway.

We arrived early for our reservation and were taken right in. We ordered two appetizers, the bacon & potato croquettes and the corn bread in the iron skillet. They were both very good. My wife had the Pike Place Salmon with the smashed cucumbers. She would order it again. The skillet cookie we ordered to share for dessert was very undercooked. It was just a smidgeon over raw dough.
