Great little diner for family meals…read more I went with my daughter for an early lunch. They were still serving breakfast at 11, but we opted for the lunch menu. They have a decent sized kids menu, but my daughter opted to have a side caesar salad and side of fries. I ordered a reuben sandwich. My daughter didn't love her salad. They make their own croutons, and she said they were not crispy enough. However, I LOVED the reuben. It's not the prettiest thing, but I love how crispy they got the bread. Also loved that they did not use thin sliced lunch meat for the corned beef. I would happily return for another reuben. The french fries were french fries, probably from Cisco. Service was attentive and friendly. The waitress offered to refill my tea twice, even offered a to go cup. She also brought over a bucket of small toys and told my daughter she could pick two items to keep. That certainly kept her busy while we waited for food.

I had to take half of it home! It was a greek omelette with spinach, gyro meat and cheese... The menu has so many options, I need to go back and get something else, but take time to read the menu! It's huge too! Looking forward to returning.

District South has been on my list of places for brunch and I'm so glad I finally had the chance to…read morecheck it out! I recently went for brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were a group of 10 and our server was excellent! The whole staff really! We sat outside and enjoyed our food+ mimosas. There was a tv out there so i know if i ever go with my husband he can watch his games (gooooo sports) while i indulge in my mimosas. I'd been studying the menu ever since my friend told me we were going. I ended up going with the avocado tartine and added smoked salmon. It was delicious and went well with a day of heavy drinking!! We also ordered the grazing board for the table which was amazing. I loved the assortment of cheeses and snacks. The butter on the board was bussinnnnn! I was in heaven!! I should mention the bottomless mimosas were $25 and the bottles literally just keep coming! Safe to say we were all feeling nice and toasty by the time we left. We hung out for a while without even getting kicked out I'd love to visit again and try more menu items. The server mentioned the cubano is the best Cuban you'll have. Now I'm always a bit skeptical bc everyone says that lol but the cubano came out looking gooooodT! I didn't try it but my friend who ordered it loved it! Parking was easy and right outside. We parked and checked in pretty quickly with ease. Thanks for the awesome service and experience! I definitely recommend adding district south kitchen & craft to your list of boozy brunch spots!

Focaccia bread with some sorta meat baked on top and grouper breaded in coconut, heck yeahhhh. Both great, fun choices that were great. Down to the meal itself. I had prime rib sammich and then my friend got the grits with braised pork. Super excited for it and it was good. But I wouldn't go past good? I'm not sure. It was one of those ones where I for sure ate it all, I did like it but I was not wow'd. With the apps, they were outfitted with great sauce choices. Look at those plates. Two different sauces per plate. So in my mind, that means they most likely make their own ranch, honey mustard, etc. how exciting?! I ordered a ranch for my friend and I, hoping that it would be homemade and blow my doors off. Ranch came, paired great with the fires but then they charged me $2.75?! Yooo, did me dirty, I can't lie. All in all, I liked it here. I just don't know if I'll hurry back. Also, for two apps, 3 entries, was kinda expansive. Idk maybe I'm just complaining. We are in Tampa, I just didn't feel great looking at the bill.

The service was fantastic, quick, and a tentative. We had an assortment of beer paired with a whipped feta snack, which was a fantastic appetizer for two. For entrées we had the pub burger and the steak sandwich. The burger was solid, but I wouldn't say it was phenomenal. However, the steak sandwich is a must have! The chips were well seasoned, and crisp as well. Overall, a great experience that I would give an 8.5 out of 10, we will be back!

I opted for the Shepherd's pie, which was very flavorful, but also managed not to be overwhelmingly rich. The layout creates a mixture of tea house and pub vibes depending where you are seated. I also tried the UK beer flight, which was a good way to try a bunch of different things without spending a ridiculous amount of cash. The service was attentive despite the busy night, which was appreciated. We had to leave our table when another reservation came in, but we didn't have any problem sitting on the porch to continue our conversation. No harm no foul there. Overall, Mad Dogs and Englishmen is a great spot formulated around a unique culture, which sets it apart from a lot of more generic places.

There was a great amount of creamer, and the fish was so fresh and not that weird fishy smell to it. The greens complemented and balanced out the fattiness of the salmon. We also got their brunch burger, which we ordered at medium rare. It's probably the first place I've ever served me an actual medium rare burger cooked correctly! The egg was nice and runny the bun was seasoned. I could've gone without the croissant bun. I think it got soggy and the flavor didn't quite fit. I was expecting a more buttery, flaky croissant rather I got a more sweet dough croissant. Otherwise, the other components were put together very well. The french fries are also cooked perfectly. Highly recommend. Then we ended the meal off with macadamia pancakes. The pancakes themselves were kind of flat but surprisingly very moist and very yummy. I wasn't expecting them to be moist because I have flat they were, but it was very good. The macadamia and the fruit combo on top was delicious. The passionfruit syrup was tangy and sour. My only feedback is to serve it with whipped cream or something to just relieved all the sourness that's on this plate. Otherwise very well executed. We'll definitely be back!
