one of the best matchas i've had so far. I was really impressed with the quality of the matcha. i also loved the creative flavors that were on the menu. my brother had the lavanic and i had the matcha and blueberry. i ordered 75% sweetness since I don't usually like super sweet drinks. both were amazing!
Friendly staff and fun environment to try a variety of foods if hungry. There are areas to sit down indoors and outdoors. The hojicha was really good, I would order it again at 25% sweet and very little to no ice. It was yummy yet too much ice! The creme brûlée cream puff was too sweet for me but the cream inside and bread was yummy.
Stopped by for a quick coffee run. This place is inside of a very busy and tight food hall. There's limited seating here so plan accordingly. We placed our order and waited about 10-15 minutes. I wasn't too sure what to order so I just got an espresso with egg yolk cream top and my sister got a banana cream topped matcha. The drinks were pretty good, the coffee was creamy and just right on sweetness. I did not try the matcha but my sister said it was delicious. I'd definitely visit again if in the area
Whenever I go to the valley, we try our best to get ELNO coffee. Egg coffee is always a good option, but for some reason I decided to be risky today and try the winter melon drink, i don't really recommend it. Didn't taste winter melon at all :( Parking is tricky, but we always manage to get street parking.
Came here with my girlfriends for a coffee date. They used to take your order but now there is a tablet to place your order which is easy. They are located in a lil tight spot which is why I'm rating it 4 stars, wish it was more roomy. HOWEVER, the drinks are amazing. Mine was the ube one and I absolutely enjoyed it. The cream on top is super thick and creamy. My coffee was not too strong and the ube made it sweet which was the perfect sweetness. I'd definitely come again to purchase but definitely taking it to go.
Super yummy matcha! The taste is very subtle and not too grassy which is what I mostly look for. The area was cool it was inside of a huge shared kitchen. Service was really nice they helped us out with any questions we had but it was a kiosk ordering system instead of face to face which I don't mind at all! They answered their phone quickly and explained to me where exactly their little kitchen was. Definitely worth trying and will be coming back again :)
Cafe and food hall hidden gem in Panorama City! My friend and I were looking for a cafe for a post meal treat and we stumbled upon this food hall/cafe and it was a great find! From the outside, you wouldn't assume there's a food hall located in this building, but there was with several stalls with different cultural foods! This cafe is located on the right side all the way down of the food hall. I ordered their specialty Lavanic Matcha and it was great!! It's your standard matcha latte with swirls of egg pudding cream and a torched creme brulee on top. It was also made with a default of oak milk which I loved because I do think oat milk is the best milk to make matcha with. The creme brulee top was nicely made and it was like a smoky caramel. The egg pudding mixed with the matcha was also delicious, not too sweet! The matcha itself was at a good matcha volume and not grainy. At $7 for the regular size with all these toppings and made with oat milk, it was a good deal compared to other LA places. Overall, a great matcha drink! For parking, it's street parking and I was able to find a spot relatively easily when I went on a Saturday early afternoon. Overall, a great experience here and I would recommend to anyone in the Panorama city area!
Hidden Gem. Literally. Street parking. Located on the first floor of an apt building with many other food spots. Will definitely come back, also to try out the other joints. s/o to the guy who took my order, Justin - very kind, informative, & had great recommendations! Of course, s/o to the barista, as well, for making my drink so divine. Got the iced matcha w/ banana foam. I like my matcha extra sweet & they were able to add extra pumps of their house made vanilla syrup. You know how all the good matcha spots are like 1+ hrs away from the valley? Now I don't have to drive that distance! Finally found 1 of 2 great matcha spots in the valley. It was very creamy, the sweetness was perfect, banana flavor was on point & didn't taste artificial like the banana laffy taffy, and it even had real banana bits in there! Might be my new matcha spot 5/5
I was craving a matcha after my doctors appointment and saw this spot was a couple minutes away. This matcha spot is located in the far right back past other food stands. They were super friendly and were attentive and created orders fast. I gave this Banana Cream top matcha with oat milk. Okay, so yes the banana cream did taste artificial, similar to the banana paddy taffy candy. I didn't mind the flavor so I didn't mind, but if you want a more authentic banana flavor maybe try another flavor. I will say it tasted a tad chalky but overall this matcha was good enough.
Really enjoyed my experience here! I ordered a regular matcha oat latte with a pistachio cream top for $7.75. Coffee and matcha shop goers know that's a decent deal for this kind of drink. Note- I believe their matcha lattes automatically come with oat milk. The matcha had an earthy flavor but wasn't bitter or overly umami. The foam was delicious and complemented the drink well! Service was also great, and the gentleman who took my order was kind and answered all my questions, despite a line forming behind me in the small hall area. ELNO is located in a tightly-packed food hall, so I imagine most people just grab their food/drinks and go. There are a few tables so you could try to work from here, but I would go somewhere else for that experience.

Ordered 3 different vietnamese coffees with various flavors and probably wouldnt try again unfortunately. The coffee base tasted diluted, which normally a vietnamese coffee is very strong and flavorful. The creams also tasted too artificial for my liking. Parking on the street is a bit tight because this is like a grab and go food complex with like 20 other vendors in stalls. So dont expect to sit down and chill with friends or study/work. If you need something relatively quick and happen to be driving by, maybe try a different drink and see what you think. read more

This place is located in a small food hall with various food stalls offering different types of cuisine. I initially got a bit lost, as I didn't realize it was in the food hall, but eventually, I found it. Parking can be a bit tricky, but luckily, I managed to find a spot right in front. I decided to try their matcha latte, and it was pretty good. While it didn't have the thickness I usually prefer in a matcha latte--it was a bit more liquidy than I like--it wasn't watery. I didn't get that strong, bold matcha flavor I'm typically drawn to, but it was still enjoyable. The cold foam on top was a nice touch and really complemented the drink. Overall, the matcha latte was solid, and I'd definitely order it again if I'm in the area. read more

This coffee spot is walk up counter located in a food hall. There are lots of cool options for food in there but I went in specifically to find Elno. There are a few bar stools up against a counter on the window to sit at. While looking at the menu, I asked the worker about the different drinks. He was kind when explaining them to me. I landed on a Salt Ca Phe and a Pandan Ca Phe. Both were very good! They were nice and creamy and not too sweet. I walked away already but was really drawn to the donut display. There was a creme brulee with custard filling. I went back for it. The lady at the register was so nice and gave me 10% of the donut because I had already bought coffee from them. I'm so glad I went back for the donut. It was delightful! Crispy caramel crust on the outside and a creamy, delicious vanilla custard filling. I devoured the entire thing! Go check this place out. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd like to try other coffee drinks and donuts! read more

Their pandan matcha is sooo yummy! The pandan cream on top is delicious. It's in the back of the food hall. Love that the hall has lots of cool things to check out. There are also a tables if you want to sit with a friend and hang out! The wait was a little long when we got there around 12:15-definitely be prepared for that. Parking was surprisingly fine but I could see how the street parking would fill up quickly. Will definitely be coming back to try more things, including their donuts. read more

I accidentally discovered this place and I liked it. Today I ordered 2 drinks through UberEats and I had to wait a whole hour for the order while the delivery address is only 1 mile away from the store. I contacted my delivery driver and he told me the store is not organized and he was told to wait while watching the store taking orders from in person customers. My driver waited in the store for at least 25 mins! I tried to call and check on the order and no one answered. Second time trying it and also the last time. read more

The combo of créme brûlée & matcha was delicious, I could easily drink many more. I can see why this drink is popular. It comes with the sugar to that you can crack with your straw. Stumbled upon a TikTok raving about ELNO so I had to try it! At first I was a little skeptical that this was another "hyped" coffee spot but boy was I wrong!!!! I ordered a iced brown sugar coffee, and let Me tell you it was made to perfection! The coffee has the perfect hint of sweet while not overpowering the coffee! 10/10 for sure! read more

Located inside of a new food court building. El No is all the way at the back, hard to find it with no posted signs or banners, we walked all around and back and forth trying to find it, good thing we didn't give up on finding it, but just head all the way to the back, next to the last door! Long line but that's usually a sign of great drinks/donuts! We got Matcha drink, creme Brele, strawberry shortcake drink, & matcha donut and creme brulee donut, the donuts are pricey but so good and nice & cold. The drinks were good but not the best we've had, there's other places with better drinks. Donuts are their best product! read more

ELNO was a little confusing to find at first. I think it would help if they put out a flag or sign out front. The service was good, the girl who took our order was very polite & friendly I HIGHLY Recommend the Coconut matcha cloud!!! It is heavenly !! 11/10 And for the price it's a STEAL I wasn't so sure about it at the beginning but once we mixed it and took that first sip oh my... it was INCREDIBLE. I also tried Lavanic, it had a beautiful presentation! Very good but I wouldn't order it again. The coconut matcha cloud stole the spotlight!!!!!!! read more

The drinks here are top notch. It is always very busy, for a reason:) I came here one day because my usual spot where I get Thai Tea was closed. So I decided to try their "signature milk teas" and even though I was so lost and didn't know what to order to satisfy my Thai tea craving the guy working helped me select the black tea option and then suggested adding sweet cream and brown sugar boba. It was soooo good. my new addiction! read more
i always get shocked at how radioactive pandan naturally looks omfg. this place seemed like the only decent drink shop in van nuys near my job, and it felt like i found a hidden gem before the tiktok wellness girlies got to it and make a line out the door. the service is 10/10 btw the gentleman was INCREDIBLY SWEET letting me try the cream tops before choosing and being so patient w me the cream tops are REALLY good... i tried the pandan (my fav) and banana, both on the sweeter side just how i like them. the matcha w/ banana cream top was really good, and you can taste the matcha was high grade. its not as strong as a place that specializes in like double matcha or something, but this place definitely offers something high quality. i got the pandan espresso coffee w/ ct but i didn't taste pandan rly and only the coffee, but the ct made up for it. it also wasn't as creamy as the matcha. a really good spot though all the menu options are so unique i definitely wanna try the creme brûlée matcha and matchiato MMMMM read more

We've been coming to Elno for awhile now & their customer service never disappoints. They always have a positive attitude and also do cute little things like today giving flowers for Mother's Day or loved one. My boyfriend and I have tried most of their menu and they have soo many good drinks to choose from. My to go is the Salt Coffee (I love that you can adjust your sweetness to your liking ). My boyfriend ordered their matcha with their gingerbread topping as well as a strawberry shortcake drink. Overall it's a a nice hidden gem in the valley. read more

The flavors are all unique and delicious, and aren't common flavors I can find elsewhere. I would come just for drinks, nothing else in that plaza. read more

OMG. The banana matcha here is probably their best item and something i think about almost everyday I personally don't live near van nuys but i make sure to hit this spot up everytime i pass. The service is good, usually ran by sweet people who are understanding. The space is tight but comfortable if not busy. read more
I kept seeing this spot pop up for boba in the valley so I thought I would give it a try!! the place itself is in a building with like 10 other small restaurant fronts, and has residential street parking outside. when I got inside, I looked over the menu and decided to get the Lavanic, which is a matcha crème brûlée drink. I also got a crème brûlée doughnut!! the drink came out in a timely fashion and the girl at the cashier was super kind and friendly. the drink was SOOO GOOD. top 5 best matcha drinks ever. the crème brûlée cream paired perfectly with it, and the doughnut was perfect on the side. i can see why they have close to a 5 star rating, although I would say they're 5 stars all the way! read more

Every visit to Elno is a positive one with the members always being friendly and helpful with their recs for what you're craving that day. Got the Salt (pictured on the right) and it's a perfect balance of sweet and strong coffee taste. When you happen to catch them at their busier times of the day, we wait a bit longer than usual for our drinks to come out but we never mind, I appreciate their attention to detail when making each one of the drinks. read more

Since my first review, I've been coming to ELNO regularly for my matcha fix, and they've never disappointed. Even though the shop has gotten much busier over time (clearly I'm not the only one who's obsessed now!), the drink quality has stayed just as amazing as day one. The matcha is always perfectly balanced and smooth, and I love the new cup design -- the logo is now beautifully engraved instead of on a sticker, which makes it feel extra premium. Huge props to the team for keeping up the same great service and quality even during rush hours. ELNO will always be my go to spot for matcha. read more

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem in the Valley--it's easily one of the best spots I've found for quality matcha. ELNO is tucked inside a food hall, so it can take a moment to locate, and street parking can be a bit tricky. But honestly, the drinks and customer service more than make up for it. Their menu has so many great options that you're guaranteed to find something you'll want to order and try. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient while I asked questions and figured out what to get. I ended up choosing the banana matcha, and it was delicious--not too sweet, with a solid matcha flavor and a smooth banana cream that paired perfectly. The pricing felt fair for the size, and I really appreciate that they don't overload the cup with ice. A little hard to find if you're looking from the outside, there was no signage on the outside of the building! But it's next to a Filipino halo halo place. The matcha was delicious, I had the lavanic. It was super good, but not too sweet. Service was average, they were polite! Definitely would go back to try more matcha drinks. read more

I enjoyed my Salt coffee! It's Vietnamese coffee with a salted cream top. The service was friendly. I was leaving the gym and wanted a coffee so I stopped in. When I feel like having this coffee again, I'll go back. It's a cool little spot in a building with a lot of restaurants. I recommend walking in and giving those places a try. read more

Really enjoy coming here for the unique drinks and delicious donuts. Service is always great too, staff is very friendly and the location is also cute. Part of an indoor restaurant hub with many different options to checkout. My go to drink is the phoenix with pistachio cream and favorite donut is the s'mores. Crème brûlée donut is delicious as well. Definitely recommend to try it out. read more

Oh yes, I get mine with oat milk and it's DELICIOUS. So many great flavors and the service is outstanding!
Where is parking?
Very limited out front along Reseda but there are other lots nearby to park and walk. The one they have in the back is usually packed/cramped.
