Their sour cream sauce is PERFECT! I ate every last bite of my sour cream enchilada combo! You can build your own or order a special! Portions & prices are very reasonable! My only complaint...as a lover of real elote I expected more out of the "elote especial"...I'm being completely honest when I say it's almost the exact same as the "Mexican street corn" @ 7-11...the place is called elote! Looking forward to eating at Elote today. Except that didn't happen because their was hair in my nachos. Lost my appetite. The soda Sierra Mist tasted different like more syrup and less carbonation. I mentioned the hair to one of the ladies working in the restaurant she took it back apologized and said she was gonna be making another one, I said no thank you don't want another one and she didn't even offer to refund the money so we ended up just leaving the restaurant very disappointed . Needless to say, we will not be going back to this place. It is unfortunate because it is close to us and I really do like the queso but because of this experience they lost a lifelong customer. read more

Good Mexican food at an affordable price. They have a solid breakfast menu with delivery options. Delivery is free and only has a 10 dollar minimum. So 5 stars for convenience and 3.5 for the quality of food. Its my wife and I's quick go to spot for Mexican food. FYI, they tend to be a little heavy on the oil on dishes with chicken or vegetables so I recommend asking them to lighten up a bit. CH read more

I first reviewed Elote back in 2013 with 5 stars and wanted to update after six years. Elote is still just as awesome! Great food and fast, friendly service. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu although my favorite lately has been their fried fish tacos. My kids say I eat there too much. I say I want to go more often! read more

One word........ Garbage! Bland, smelled and looked old. The taquitos tasted like they are the cheap Walmart ones and even looked it. The "carna asada" tacos looked like something from an ole Roy dog food can, didn't even have the look or consistency of real meat. Sucks I wasted my money, but I can at least say I tried and will not be going back. I am surprised to see so many positive reviews, for Elote. For the quality and flavor, the food is way overpriced. The Mahi in the taco special was chewy indicating that it was over-cooked. The kids portions are small. They charge $1.99 for the chips and salsa - and while there is a large basket of chips, there is only about 6 oz of salsa. The braised beef is spicy, which is fine as long as it is stated as such, on the menu (it is not). I ordered a kids taco with the braised beef and no one bothered to mention that it was spicy. The pork was awful! It had a very strong, almost wild, flavor. The burritos were large but both my husband and brother said, based on the flavor, they would rather have had a Chipotle burrito. The rice was good, as was the queso. The margaritas were decent, but not great. They charge $$$$8, for a "premium" (approx. 12oz) margarita, that's just poured out of a vat. The restaurant was clean, but very boring - nothing unique or interesting. The patio is weak - lacks shade, comfortable seating, seating for groups. I made the unfortunate decision to take out-of-town guests to this restaurant. No one was impressed -including kids aged 3, 5, 9 and 11! We definitely will not be returning. Came in today for a lunch date with my handsome boyfriend! A special weekday treat for us! So you walk in and place your order and they give you a number... You know the routine! We ordered the chips, salsa, guacamole, and queso. It was definitely the highlight of the meal! They had this spicy salt on the table that was amazing. We both ordered el pastor taco plates. I got mine with just onions and cilantro, the bf got his with cheese and pineapple something. The el pastor would love get one star in my book. It wasn't bad but I'm not going to be dying to come back for it. I got double beans, charro and refried. The charro were great, awesome seasoning. We've been ordering food from Elote since we moved into the area about 5 years ago. Looking back I wondered why I never left a review so I thought to do so now. Food is really good. The kids cheese enchiladas, fajitas and street tacos are our favorites but we have ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Food is made in a timely manner no matter where how we order, eat in, take out or delivery. If they make a mistake with our order -which is bound to happen from time to time- they apologize, fix it quickly and offer some compensation. read more

Husband and I love this place and eat here regularly. We are a gluten free family and I have celiac disease. This place is celiac friendly, I've never been glutened here! They have dairy free cheese and sour cream. Delivery is super fast and the people are always nice. When you're dining in the food comes out quickly too. Begging the owner to PLEASE open up a gluten free burger joint over here!! We love this place- primarily that they deliver!! Love their Bare-ritos (burrito bowl) with the pulled pork. On the rare occasion, the order isn't exactly 100% correct, but if noticed they always have great customer service, are apologetic and fix it right away. read more

BEST Margaritas around! These margaritas are not made with sweet and sour mix, they are made from fresh juice! You won't find a better margarita anywhere. The nacho's are piled high with delicious beef, beans, cheese, lettuce and tomato. They have gluten free items. The queso is really good, made with real queso blanco, not melted velveeta like you find at many Mexican joints. The prices are good and the food is great. read more

If you have high blood pressure, this place may kill you. If you don't yet have high blood pressure, you will after eating here twice. There was so much salt in the ground beef taco and the braised beef taco that I felt slightly mummified afterward. You can tell the difference between a spice burn in your mouth and the kind of burn you can only get from sodium, sucking the last bit of moisture from your body. The flavor of the beef was fine. Ground beef must have been a 70 - 30% mix because it was highly greasy. I like greasy food, but wow. Braised beef must have been sitting over a steam pot for too long as it was starting to become dry. So thankful we found this restaurant through our friends! My husband is lactose intolerant and our friend has celiac disease but both can eat here. They are conscious to not mix gluten and gluten free foods and have vegan cheese and sour cream! I usually come here for the tacos, which are really good! Today I tried the brisket burrito because I was really hungry. After I got half way into the burrito I started to think that I got a bean and rice burrito and not brisket, then I found a few scraps of brisket. First time here. Will definitely return. It was my fist time here and the staff was very good at explaining the menu and giving recommendations. For those who gave a bad review, try it again. We went last Saturday and loved it. I had the brisket burrito, had them add queso to the top, it was great. The guacamole and chips were wonderful. The salsa is mild enough for our son to eat, but if we want to make it spicy, you just add hot sauce from table, make it your own level of spicy. I like the concept. read more

First time trying, we got fried fish tacos... Ummm the tempura battered, not my choice for Mexican fish tacos, softened very quickly which didn't make for the best experience. We have been here several times... a casual dinner with husband, dinner with the neighbors, and dinner with a 6 year old. Who knew everyone would enjoy! I ADORE the elote. We are talking I could eat it 7 days a week. But it is kind of pricey for what it is so I refrain. I always end up with the shrimp enchiladas and keep trying new sauces. My family and I our giving this place a 1/5 stars because the rib eye was dry,thin, and seemed like a rubber sole. The charro beans were ranch styled canned beans. The chicken was dry and thin as well. The mushroom sauce was nasty. My sister had the "trio platter" and the enchiladas sauce was great BUT the tortilla was hard. The flautas were burnt, the queso sauce that came with it was cold thAnkfully the flautas were so hot that it warmed up my queso.
