We were looking for a quick and easy pre movie spot and decided on Elys. It was 4 pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our server was super friendly and attentive and got us all we needed . I ordered the kids pancakes and it was the perfect size and came with bacon and eggs. I really didn't want a big meal and this was perfect. My wife had the chicken tinga and it was very tasty. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will return. My one pet peeve is the 3 percent fee for credit cards. While it was only .75 it's the cost of doing business and the customer shouldn't have to foot the bill.

Fooled me. This restaurant serves American And Mexican food. After looking at the enormous selection on the menu. I settled for one of my older favorites The menudo was excellent and served with all the condiments expected. Pretty darn close to how my Dad used to make on special occasions when I was young. Our greeter/waitress was excellent. The atmosphere was just like any family run restaurant. Pleasant surprise and great food. Worth a visit

Visiting from LA and came across this spot. Everything was bomb !! Service and drinks were on point. Perfect place for our family and friends of 8...Definitely coming back to scope out the rest of the menu.. the menu here is huge !!

This is a hidden gem for the breakfast spots in Henderson. I get seated very quickly and served almost immediately. The menu is as big as Cheesecake Factory and it all looks amazing. About everything has a correlating photo. I always get the chorizo and eggs combo it is very nostalgic for me. I'm not a fan of pancakes but their stacks are fluffy and flavorful. You cannot miss with any meal.

I'm so mad that I didn't see there was an Ely's here sooner. I live fairly close to this area and go to the other breakfast place across the street quite a bit. I like the Trop location of Ely's but it's a bit too far for me and I'm so glad that this one is closer. Walking in, we were greeted warmly right away. We were also sat right away. The restaurant is fairly large and the seating is nicely spaced. It's very clean and nice in here. Our server was super nice, making sure we got everything we needed. She checked in on us and refilled our coffee quite a few times. The food is excellent here and a great value. The meals are pretty large and I like to take the leftovers with me for lunch the next day. I love the chilaquiles here, they never disappoint. Both the red and the green sauces are great and if you can't choose, obviously you can have both. I tried the chicken tinga omelet this time and WOW, it's going to become one of my go to items.

Once again, a quick search found this hidden treasure. What a great find. Easy to find inside a shopping center. There is no missing this place. It is big, bright, and a great breakfast spot. When you walk in the doors, the place is super clean and nice. It doesn't feel overwhelming. More like coming to a friend's house for breakfast. Which is a nice thing to have. Mia was our waitress, and she was awesome! She had great suggestions, good sense of humor, and made the meal much more fun. There are just so many choices, but honestly? I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. I did the combo menu and let me tell you, for $16.99, you get more food than you should humanly eat. Pro tip: make sure you order the bacon extra crispy, as well as the potatoes. Perfectly seasoned and it was just a great breakfast all the way around My breakfast included caramel banana, French toast with a scoop of ice cream on top. There aren't many things in this world that I would say would change my life, but this was definitely one thing that would change my life. I would highly recommend getting a glass of milk with breakfast because finishing that off as a dessert is the way to go. Bottom line? I will definitely be coming back here again, although I have to remember to bring my elastic stretch pants next time.

I came to Ely's for breakfast to try it out as I have seen reviews for this restaurant on Facebook and Yelp. I got the breakfast combo with 2 eggs, 4 sausages, hashbrowns, and the strawberry banana French toast. The food was really good especially the French toast so I'll have to try other items on the menu. Service was a bit on the slow side but the waitress was nice and apologetic about it. Overall though the food is more than enough to keep me coming back.

Updated review*****came here for my son's birthday breakfast before heading to the movies around the corner, it was steady for a Saturday morning and we were seating quickly. Drink order was taken and food was brought out pretty quick, my only complaint is we both had water and had to ask for refills when we set the cups at the end of the table, I noticed she looked but then walked past us, we are very good tippers since my sons also works in a tipping industry but, we didn't tip as much as we normally do and that was due to being ignored. All in all the food is always decent each time we visit and while it's not all the time, we will continue to come here for the yummy pancakes the service is ok, but it could be better too.

Great local spot for some delicious food. Daniella was our server and she was so attentive. Inside was clean and pretty busy. Staff seemed like a well oiled machine. Food came out quick and was so tasty. The menu is huge and covers so many different tastes, something for everyone.

Service very friendly. Food came out fast and all tasted really good. I ordered a Jamaica and Horchata, but they are not made with the traditional ingredients. It's more like a mix or something artificial. The ambience is pretty cool. They were playing 80s music. The seating is comfortable, plenty of booths for small and large groups. Also, area is spacious and plenty of room to walk between tables. The menudo was spot on, the flavor was clean and bursting with that traditional red broth flavor. The Pozole was good, was missing a little more meat. The Oreo pancakes were delicious.

I so wanted to like this place, thought for sure it was going to be a hidden gem with comfort diner food combined with authentic Mexican options. First things first, let's get the fact that the service here is very friendly and attentive. I don't like leaving a 2 star rating when they're so nice, but I consider 3 stars average and as much as I don't want to be that guy, this was a 2 star meal. I ordered what they said was their most popular special. It had their famous chilaquiles, ribeye steak and eggs. I asked if she preferred green or red sauce, she said she liked the green but that she could do half and half for me to try both. Great! The green sauce was really good, I liked those. Not exactly the best I'd ever had but they were good. The red sauce was strange tasting to me, not sure how to describe it, but I ate one bite and didn't touch the rest. The eggs were fine, but they had a big piece cut out of the whites, so the presentation wasn't ideal. It was no ihop presentation. But the biggest crime was the steak. I wasn't expecting it to be some high quality steak, but this was one of the worst steaks I've ever had... maybe THE worst. Not only was it very sinewy and difficult to cut, but there was absolutely no seasoning or flavor, no sear or char either. I added a bunch of salt and pepper which helped a little, but it oddly did not have any beef flavor. The only thing I can theorize is that the steak wasn't fresh at all. It was pretty nasty to say the least. Hate to say it. Needless to say, after a few bites of that I was extremely put off and lost my appetite for my order. When the waitress came by, she saw that I had only eaten a few bites of the steak and the whole portion of red chilaquiles was still there. As one of their most expensive dishes and 3/4 of it uneaten, I feel she should have addressed the elephant in the room but she did not. She did however offer us whatever kind of pancakes which was her way of making up for it. Was a very nice gesture, but still feel like she should want to know why I didn't eat the breakfast so they can improve. The pancakes were pretty good, they had ice cream strawberries and bananas. But on top of everything else we already experienced, there were bites with fringe pieces of sautéed onions and savory seasonings... clearly from cooking on the same grill as a savory dish lol. Not the end of the world, but at this point I'm just like can't I get anything right here? The tap water is the worst as well lol... lemon wedge wasn't saving it. So I'm sorry it didn't workout for me. There was a steady flow of customers so clearly other people like it. Unfortunately I can't ever go here again.

My Daughters and Grandson and I came to Ely's for a birthday breakfast. We were seated promptly and given menus. My Grandson ( he's 3) was not in a great mood but once we mentioned a pancake with strawberries and whipped cream, he was all smiles. The ambiance is bright and laid back. Our waitress took our order for drinks and gave us some time to look at the menus. She came back and we placed our order. The food came promptly and I can tell you it was delicious, very good. No complaints. We had Nutella strawberry crepes, Steak fajita omelette and hash browns, and Chilaquiles Bowl as well as the pancake with strawberries and whipped cream. The servings were big ( I ended up taking half of mine home). This restaurant is a mix of Mexican and American food which was great for me, I love Mexican food! Great service, lots of smiles and a great experience. Always nice when people are smiling and not looking like they're miserable . Come one, come all! Bon Appitit! read more

Chilaquiles plate is always good. Friendly, and fast service. Waiters are on top of it, don't even have to ask for drink refills. Great breakfast or lunch spot. My husband likes their menudo on the weekends. It is popular spot on the weekends, kinda loud but quick service anyways! read more

Never got our food. Waited for over 20-25 minites for nothing. Server was so slow in taking order. Eventually came back several times saying " you food is next" Watched 3 tables who came after me get food and still ours never came out. Left. Would not recommend and never come back read more

I live really close to this place. Never made a stop by till last week, and it did not disappoint! I should have came a long time ago. With so much food in the area, it's hard to pick, but don't pass on Ely's. Had the menudo with all the fixings a few times and it is delicious. The drinks are great too with several variety of flavors. Big servings of Mimosas, and fair prices. Service is very friendly. My server Dani and all the other staff were very attentive, which is nice. Great food, excellent service, will definitely be back! read more

After reading all the reviews about the Pozole I had to try it!! At first glance this place looks like a greasy spoon breakfast joint... well except they are pricey..... after eating the Pozole I'm totally willing to to pay $20 for a bowl of soup. My only complaint is that if you're order to go give them 20 mins because they seem unorganized *I waited 20+ mins for soup... patiently watching the waitresses count their tips and debating who was going to help customers. I guess shift change is between 11:30-12 noon. Something I also found funny, a woman came in asking if they were hiring... the ladies in the front totally dissed her gave her elevator eyes and told her nope... what the heck don't be like that at least she was willing to work and apparently ya'll make plenty of money. This place is so freakin good. I saw it on tiktok, followed them for a few months and finally got in to try Elys this past weekend. The food/drinks were affordable, delicious, creative and the portions were very generous! The staff were attentive, especially the manager. He was very on top of the floor. So I'm gonna do my review on my food that I had last Sunday I did a food delivery from the restaurant and I want to say that it was just excellent. First off I ordered the steak and eggs they were perfectly cooked. The breakfast in itself was a good breakfast. Everything was seasoned well. Sooo... let's talk about my day. My mom & I were looking for a breakfast spot close to home and she brought up Ely's. I'm intrigued because we really haven't found a go to spot in the plaza on Green Valley Pkwy. Who knew people really like to eat out Saturday mornings? lol, all jokes aside today was a busy day for all breakfast spots. We arrived and were instantly seated. The vibe was busy mom and pop restaurants, like Blueberry Hill vibes. I was reading the menu and there's a lot of different foods for everyone which I appreciate but my heart wanted steak chilaquiles and strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade was Minute Maid lemonade and strawberry syrup. That was such a bummer because I was looking forward to a natural lemonade flavor at least, I'm not sure if that makes sense lol? My mom & I get our meals and we were so underwhelmed with the flavors of the food. Like I know it could be a wittle better y'all. My mom got an omelette with avocado, but I honestly didn't ask her what was inside of the omelette. Idk why there was a puddle of steak juice on top of my steak. I get it if it was on the bottom of my plate, but whaaa? The green sauce had no flavor but am I weird for getting green sauce lol? Life's real questions are going through my mind at this time. My mom & I had a great convo tho. I think that's the only thing that makes this experience better. I think we just ordered the wrong things. I'm pretty sure I would have liked the strawberry cream cheese pancakes but then again, that's on me. My mom wasn't feeling it but I wouldn't mind checking it out one more time for something different. read more

This is one of our favorite breakfast places! We love coming here whether it be dining in or ordering for delivery! The menu options are endless and so much yummy food to pick from! We try different things each time or if we have cravings we get our favorites! Customer service is always top notch and plenty of lighting and seating. I can't recommend this place enough if you want delicious food! Huge portion sizes, decent prices and extremely quick. Within 10 minutes of ordering we had our food. We frequent here pretty often and today we tried two new options. We got the cinnamon Roll French toast which is to die for, and he got the Mexican Omelette with Chilaquiles. Go here, you won't regret it read more

I was there a few weeks ago with a friend and we walked out after sitting there for 10 minutes while more than 1 waitress passed our booth and proceeded to ignore us. There are way too many restaurants in this town to be treated this way. No thanks read more

This place is where you go for the the perfect dining experience. We went for breakfast and although it was far from us it definitely was and will always be worth the drive. From the moment you open the doors you are greeted by the amazing aroma of fresh food and coffee. The service itself is worth going here. Our waitress was always available and will often come around ensuring we are having a pleasant time. The food was amazing, fresh, filling and priced just right. The establishment was clean and although it was very busy you don't feel it. The food came out quickly and you did t feel rushed to eat. OMG!! I love this place. Dani (Danielle) was so polite and such a delight. She was so accommodating we had a party of 5 with a vegan person with us. She made suggestions and all the food was D E L I C O U S!!!!!! you must come and try this wonderful food. I had the Elys Mega Plate which contains a Bacon Cheeseburger, 3 Buffalo chicken tenders and fries covered with cheese, bacon bites, a scoop of guacamole and sour cream. It was so delicious. You also need to try the lemonade with pineapple and mango. While we were sitting there talking after we had already boxed up our food they brought out their new item that's going on the menu, it's called chocolate abuelita which is French toast, which is brioche bread, cinnamon and chocolate. So disappointed this time around. They've remodeled. Looks lovely. The booths are nice and not broken down. But it was so hot in there. I don't know if the AC wasn't working or they were trying to save money. So uncomfortable! Our waitress was nice enough however she never checked on us. Never refilled our water. Our food came out after people who sat and ordered after us. Our food also didn't come out together. Service was so slow as well. The food was meh at best. I had the Ely's burger. It tasted almost burnt. And the onion rings we've over cooked. My mom had the strawberry crepes. She said they were ok. I don't know that I'd return again. This place use to be so good. Ely's is usually very hard to get a table on the weekends but we had success with their side dining area. We have eaten here many times (love the biscuits and gravy). Our server Dani was wonderful and excited to share news of new and old menu items, she was prompt and very attentive. Great service! There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. When we sat at our table, the team member brought over menus and asked if we'd like anything to drink while we looked through the menu. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. There are other options on their menu though, like BBQ items! Meat platters: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Ribs, Hot Links, smoked Chicken Quarters. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

I found this restaurant on TikTok, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The food was delicious--every bite was packed with flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. They have such a great variety on the menu that it's hard to choose just one thing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the experience even better. My wife and I went here for lunch today. When we walked in, the place smelled like the sewer was backed up. We were sat at a booth by a hood rat couple listening to loud music on their cell phone for all to hear. We both looked at each other and said let's get out of here. We lasted 30 seconds. If the smell of the place wasn't bad enough, the management shouldn't allow hood rats to play their loud music for all to have to endure. I have never left a restaurant with such haste and I will never be back. read more

Bacon Lover's Paradise!! Quality, Seasoned and Crispy for absolute perfection... in my opinion the best bacon in town. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food prices are reasonable for the quantity. All dishes I have personally ordered have great flavor and have been enjoyed immensely. The variety of dishes offered make it great place for everyone including those picky eaters. Plenty of parking available and easy access off Sunset/Green Valley Pkwy entrances. read more

If I could rate this place 0 starts I would horrible food pozel is the same as menudo. Food wasn't worth the price. And when you ask for a manager the manager and owner comes out and my lord they have even worse service. disrespectful, rude and snaps back. PLEASE RUN!!!! We happened to be driving by and saw this restaurant and the words Burgers and Breakfast. I was immediately intrigued. I had the Chorizo Burrito with the Square Potatoes and it was awesome! The potatoes were nice and crispy, like I like them. We will definitely be coming back here to try the burger. read more

We enjoyed our experience very much. Our waiter, Roger was very helpful. My husband had the Mexican breakfast and liked the recommended homemade salsa. I had a lettuce wrap, by request but not on the menu, burger and it was very tasty. The atmosphere is family friendly and very clean. read more
