I love Elysium and have recommended this spa to many. They offer several types of services in a relaxing, inviting environment. I routinely receive 90 minute deep tissue massages with Shae and highly recommend her services. She is professional, approachable and intuitive. Her massage skills and techniques are amazing. Shae has made such a difference in my physical and mental well being. I also highly recommend Charlene and her services. She provides excellent facials and waxing services. I just had the most wonderful prenatal massage with Alexis. I'm pregnant with twins and it helped so much. She uses pillows with cut outs for your stomach so that you can actually lie face down and get the shoulder and back work you really need when you are carrying a heavy load in front. I'm totally going back as many times as possible. I also discovered that they do pedicures with bowls here instead of the big, hard-to-clean chairs which is so much more sanitary. Loved my facial here this weekend. As mentioned before, this isn't a super fancy all-service spa, but it's clean and so cozy. I had such a relaxing afternoon! I did the 45-minute facial (for $60), and it was perfect. I love how she didn't try to sell me any products during the facial--feels like I encounter that all too often. It also ran long, and I appreciated the extra care and attention. I will most definitely be back! They were accommodating and the service was awesome. read more

Came here today for the first time and was very impressed. This spa does not have amenities like I was hoping for, but my amazing massage therapist made up for it. Charlene was great. I didn't even need to tell her what to do next and she was already there. I went into the massage with the worst tension headache and left feeling amazing. I was really impressed with her techniques and the scalp massage she gave me was great. Will definitely be returning. read more

I have been to Elysium twice now, once for spray tan and once for a hot stone massage. Both were great. It is a relaxing environment, clean, pretty, and the staff are all very friendly. The hot stone massage I got was phenomenal. I will return to this spa. I also love that you can book your appointment online through their web site. I came for an eyebrow appointment and asked Amy to only clean up my eyebrows. NO SHAPING. I left with half of the thickness gone in the front of my eyebrows, they start farther apart, they are uneven, she didn't wax the top, and she didn't trim the eyebrow hairs. I only wanted the peach fuzz to be gone. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding in 3 days and my eyebrows have never looked worse! read more

Absolutely wonderful place! It's a small house set aside in a little cul-de-sac that's out of the way of most traffic. I arrived early because it was easier to find than I'd expected, but even so I didn't main more than about 10 minutes before they got me in. The tables were heated, she used warm towels on areas that needed extra work and the pressure was perfect. $115 for a 90 minute deep tissue massage is pretty reasonable, especially given the area. I absolutely LOVE Elysium. All around superb. I see Katie for my facials and she is wonderful. Not to mention, she has beautiful skin herself. That is usually a good sign! So sweet and friendly. Charlene gave me a fantastic hot stone massage. My first with the stones and won't be my last. The heat opened up more range of motion in my shoulders and upper back. Exactly what I needed after hunching over my office computer all week(s). I was 30 min late due to a personal problem and I really appreciated that Elysium accommodated me anyway. This place is wonderful - from the way we were treated by staff, to the services. I'm in town visiting my brother (who, by the way, got a military discount - keep that in mind if you or someone you're with is in the military). On a lark we decided to get facials - a first for my brother. I had Charlene and he had Sherry. My facial was one of the best I've ever had! Charlene did an amazing job with my skin, and I left feeling so relaxed. My brother also had a great experience and left feeling happy and relaxed. A wonderful, serene, clean place! I was in major need of getting some knots worked out of my back and neck that have been bothering me for almost 3 weeks (to the point where I would get headaches even). Anyhow, just moved to the area in September and was searching through Yelp to find a good massage therapist. Elysium came up so I called them and got their answering machine. They returned my call within 30 minutes and was able to accommodate me the same day. Their relaxation lounge was so comfy, cozy and nice. Almost fell asleep before even getting my massage. Anyhow, my therapist was Karianne. I requested a deep tissue massage and she definitely knows how to give a deep tissue massage. It was great and she loosened me up. The warm towel wraps around my feet and face were divine! Loved everything so much that I scheduled another session (this time 90 minutes) with Karianne for this weekend. I even scheduled one for my husband. Price is also great compared to the other spas around. You definitely have to check it out! read more

Only giving this two starts which is pretty generous considering my one and only experience was years ago. Present day, I attempted multiple times to contact them and book services for four people on our girls weekend coming up. I called and receive a voicemail. I left a message with my phone number asking to be called back so that I could inquire about availability and book. No returned call. I then attempted calling at least three additional times only to get the same voice mail. I attempted reaching out via the Facebook page. Again no response. I emailed and asked for someone to contact me, again with phone number provided to do so. I get an email back rather than a phone call asking for me to list all the services desired. I'm pretty sure this would be much easier to do by phone, but since they can't be bothered to contact potential customers, I have already booked elsewhere. I will not chase a business to spend my money for their services. If they can't be bothered to contact people, I can't imagine they have the motivation to provide a decent experience. read more

I have been getting the mini facials with Charlene at Elysium for some time, and she has worked wonders for my complexion! I have been struggling with acne for the past 10 years, and at some point I got sick and tired of taking all sorts of antibiotics just to control the breakouts. I am so happy that I found Charlene! Ever since I started seeing her, my face is glowing and I am not getting any breakouts whatsoever! I cannot say enough about Charlene. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and gifted. Charlene is an amazing practitioner, as is Liz, (note: if requested, Liz will incorporate Reiki - a powerful healing and grounding form of energy work into her already amazing massage practice.) I can't say enough about our experience this past weekend. My best friend and I were on vacation in Carmel. And as our other halves were golfing we booking the ultimate duo for ourselves. We arrived early (prob a little to early 40 mins oops) we were told to go to the relaxation room where we were offered champers and sparkling water. The facilities are spotless and the staff amazing. We went on in and had the most amazing facial. I had Charlene and she was awesome I also fell asleep lol. With no rush at all I was brought to another room for the most amazing massage of my life(and I have got a lot;). Ashley was amazing I can't say enough about her. Right amount of pressure. Relaxed atmosphere. Oh holy divine I was in heaven. We felt no hurry between treatments the staff were really brilliant price was amazing the due was 150 each for 2 hrs but in total we were there for 3 amazing hours. Best massage I have ever experienced. I had the deep tissue hour long massage and next time I might do the 90 minute. I could have stayed in there all day long. I needed a really hard massage because of the massive knots in my shoulders, back, etc. She gave the perfect amount of pressure (a lot) and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. Was scheduled for a 60 min neck, back & shoulder massage for my mom and I, she had Shae, and I had an appointment with sherry. Let me tell you it was amazing. Sherry did a wonderful job with the perfect amount of pressure it was very calming and relaxing. The place was very friendly and welcoming when you walked in the door. We got into our appointment very quickly no waiting at all. My mom also loved her appointment with Shae. They did a great job working on what your specific needs were and where the most tension was. I love getting massages and recently made an appointment for a 90 min relaxation massage at Elysium. It was AH-mazing! I had Liz, she's so great! She would first ask me questions like how firmly I like my massages, and where on my body / back do I want the most concentration on. She helped relax my tense shoulders and neck, and I thought the 90 minutes just flew by! The entire staff is nice, and I loved the ambiance!
