He somehow is both extremely precise and efficient (he can do an entire hard gel fill with a nail trimming in under an hour) and there is never a single flaw in his work. He is also a delight, as is the entire staff here. They have created a really welcoming and fun environment. Just wanted to leave an honest review about my recent experience. I came in for a French tip manicure and pedicure. While the service itself was okay, there were a few things that left me feeling disappointed. First, nowhere during the consultation did the technician mention the extra $15 charge for French tips. I only found out after she had already finished painting my nails. This felt a bit sneaky, especially since the price list wasn't readily available. Second, the French tips themselves weren't what I expected. At other salons, they typically apply a pink base coat before the white tip, which I prefer. Here, they just went straight for the white, which made the overall look a bit stark. Finally, the advertised 10% discount on the website (Monday-Wednesday) had a lot of hidden requirements. Apparently, my friend had to check in the moment she walked in, and for me, they wanted a good Yelp review!** None of these conditions were mentioned on the website, and we only found out at the end, when it was too late to consider going elsewhere. Overall, while I understand this is a small business, I felt a bit misled. It would be better to be upfront about pricing and any limitations on advertised promotions. I would recommend this salon be more transparent with their pricing and promotions to avoid disappointing customers in the future. Nice and clean store, looks pretty new. Done my nail with Minnie, she's very gentle and quick, that's not easy to do. I was a walk-in, during weekend it's really hard to fit me in but they did. I think I've finally found my new go-to salon! Not only is this salon clean, spacious and beautifully designed and decorated, but they offer hair, nail and makeup services. They're pretty much a one-stop shop for all your self-care needs. This is also one of the cleanest and prettiest salons I've been to, which is really important. I immediately had a good feeling about this place as soon as I walked through the door. I got my gel-x set done here this past weekend and it came out better than I could've ever imagined! Linda meticulously hand-painted the LV pattern on not one, but two of my nails! They actually don't have nail stickers here and pride themselves on hand-painting everything which I really respect and admire. Stickers are just an easy fix, but that's not true artistry. If you don't know what gel-x is or you're debating on getting it, trust me when I say it's absolutely worth it. It costs more than your average acrylic set, but that's because it's a million times better and healthier for your nails. I've been doing gel-x consistently for over a year now and my natural nails have never looked better. With acrylics, my nails were so brittle and thin, but that's not the case with gel-x. It's a soft gel nail that gets adhered to your natural nail, and can be filed and trimmed to your desired length and shape. They typically last anywhere from 3 weeks to a month for me, and I have never broken a nail because they're that sturdy. Another thing I love is how thin and lightweight they are. Acrylics can sometimes be too thick and heavy, but not gel-x. There's also no chemicals involved so you and the nail tech don't have to worry about inhaling anything harmful. Tony applied my gel-x and Linda executed the design I had in mind. Both of them were absolute perfectionists and were so sweet and easy to talk to. Linda had never even done "cloud nails" before but she did an amazing job, and on her first try! I loved the fact that she was willing to try anything I had in mind. I'd definitely recommend this salon to everyone! Parking tip: Emblush is located near a 90 min free parking garage! Otherwise there is metered parking on the street or other paid lots/structures. Yesterday I went to have my first pedicure since the February of last year and am so glad I chose Emblush Beaute. Upon arrival they checked my temperature, and have a station with gloves, masks, sanitizer and everything. I booked over the phone but, you can also book online or thru Yelp.
