The contractor's license he provided was from another state and not under his name (found out after the fact). I paid him 50% of the contract to up-front as agreed with the balance to be paid upon completion. Firstly, he did not have a generator for the jackhammer to break up the driveway and used the house outlets. This kept blowing the breakers. Told him he needed to get a generator. He rented a CAT to break up the driveway. After breaking up the driveways, he started asking for more money. (He stated that he didn't have money to operate due to a previous issue with a customer). Later began saying the concrete was thicker, roots etc. and needed more money to continue working on the job. Even though he was paid 50%, he only broke up the driveways and took a few trips to the dump. No necessary permits were obtained from the City (found out later). Over a month he kept asking for more money and later stating he would not do more work without more money. Then said that he had to work on other jobs to get money and would be delaying our job and return to it. Did not returned to the job site after a few weeks (well past the agreed 30 days to complete the job, which should have been a generous estimate). He rented a mini bobcat from Herc rentals that the police showed up at the house and stated was stolen (did not validate). He only ended up doing 25% of the work. He created a mess, left it there and did not finish the job. End result - I need to find another contractor and got a violation notice from the city. I would zealously not recommend him.

I hired this company to do a large landscaping project for the front and back of my house,…read moreincluding replacing flowerbed borders, building 2 stone walkways, installing new trees and landscaping, making changes to the irrigation system, and installing a french drain. The project was very expensive but the end result was very poor. For starters, most of the flowers they put in looked terrible and were not laid out in the design that we wanted or discussed. We had a lot of design discussions and were very specific about the style/arrangement and type of plants/flowers we wanted. They substituted flowers that we approved for flowers that we didn't want. It did not look good. When I pointed out that they used the wrong flowers, they told me they would charge me to fix it. Two of the walkways (which they told me would be stable) fell apart the first time it rained and now looks like I have a mud path going to my house. They did major damage to my grass which was not properly repaired, and created new drainage problems that didn't exist before. I brought all of these problems to the attention of the company but they refused to do anything to fix it unless I paid them more money. They would not even attempt to fix the most serious problems, such as the falling apart walkways. There was some work left to be completed, as well as the entire backyard project which wasn't started yet. Their offer was to just cancel the remainder of the work and refund me a few hundred dollars for the work that I paid for that wasn't completed. Very disappointed with the terrible work of this company and their stubborn refusal to fix their shoddy work after I paid for it.

On the day of the job, they sent me a 3rd party contractor who made the necessary repairs/checks. Couple days later I get an invoice without any details (itemized lines) so I called BT office. Five days and three calls later, they were still not able to send me a detailed invoice. So as a workaround, they sent me a screenshot of the invoice from the office computer! Looking at the invoice, I noticed they have added some materials that were not installed on my property. After disputing the charges over several phone calls, they agreed to remove them and hence collected the correct balance from me without even apologizing for their mistake. to Sum up, I was disappointed in their lack of professionalism and more importantly their invoicing accuracy. One advice, is to be onsite during the repairs if you want to avoid been overcharged for their work. Seems you can't do anything these days in Frisco area without been scammed :(

Unfortunately, it was a big mistake. Jacob was consistently late and didn't complete the job correctly. What really upset me was when he broke several sprinkler heads and didn't even attempt to fix them or offer any compensation. It's disappointing to say, but I've had to part ways with this company. I wouldn't recommend their services--Jacob is unreliable and doesn't take responsibility for his work.
