Price-wise, it felt right for what I got, and I'm always happy to support a local spot. The Black Forest was exactly what I needed on a winter afternoon. I ordered it as a hero and could only finish half. It was stuffed with hot turkey and melted Muenster cheese, and the bread had a great crunch while still keeping a nice chew. The Thousand Island dressing and coleslaw made every bite satisfying. It was definitely a wet sandwich with sauce dripping, and honestly, I loved that. I was excited for every bite.
