What I like: open concept (when you walk in, you see the whole restaurant) tons of tables for families (variety of small and big tops) food isn't oily or salty Friendly service Variety of dishes. They even have the salted steam buns! Very yummy. And it's better than just the regular egg custard buns The service button on every table!! SOO sooo convenient for fast service. What's needs to be improved: Service is not as attentive when filling up drinks. I feel like w such a big place, there needs to be someone constantly refilling water or having someone be on the floor. It's great that they have a buzzer on the table. We were able to get fast service bc of it! Needs a second cart to run around on the floor. The one cart wasn't doing much and was skipping over too many tables. I think that was my main complaint. I personally like a more traditional dim sum where the carts are constantly cycling through. We had a big table and the cart had skipped us multiple times after. Maybe they thought we were done ordering but we were actually waiting for it to come by. Even after we ask for it to stop by our table, we still got skipped. But all in all, it's still a new restaurant and I'm sure they're still working out the kinks! The service is still very friendly and fast. We didn't have to wait long and they accommodated us with 10 people

Amazing service and amazing freshly made to order dim sum! They do offer cart service for steamed items only on Saturday and Sunday. Other days you can order from the QR code located on top of your table and order on your phone as a group or individual. No complaints highly recommend. I will say right now it is by far 1000x better than any other dim sum place here in the city. Just a side note: The person giving negative reviews that didn't even try this place and went to another dim sum location and gave this place two fake reviews under their main account and another one under a fake account is incorrect about payment. You pay AFTER you eat on the app. You have the OPTION to pay before, but any intelligent person can figure this out.

I will definitely return to Empire Dimsum. Everything was fantastic on the first visit, the delicious food, the good service, the speediness of the food - a wholesome dimsum experience. For those that read reviews about how this is not traditional dim sum, the bad service, or not getting their food, I certainly did not experience any of these problems. This is possibly because they have improved or addressed these problems. This restaurant serves traditional dim sum with a slight twist. I was a little confused at first but got it in the end. So all the STEAMED dishes are being served via CARTS like traditional dim sum (on the weekends). The catch is the FRIED dishes, BAKED goods, DESSERTS, DRINKS, NOODLES, and VEGETABLE dishes are ORDERED from the kitchen. You order these dishes online as this is the easiest option. You don't have to and could order through one of the servers. The benefit of having an online ordering system is you can order more items anytime or you could close out your tab without going up the counter. It's an excellent and efficient system, which I preferred. Honestly, I loved it. All my food were ordered and made fresh from the kitchen. All of these items were brought out individually by different servers. I love the fact that the servers worked as a team and you'll be served by all of them, not just by one. I was not able to try the steamed dishes served by carts such as pork ribs, steamed buns, chicken feet, and others, hence "I will definitely return." By the way, all my food came out very FAST. There wasn't really any wait. 4/19/24 - Came back and tried shiu mai with shrimp, spare ribs with black bean sauce, and preserved egg and pork congee. Food was again fantastic. Loved everything. Congee was a little bland though. This is go to dim sum in OKC. They forgot my chrysanthemum tea this time. P.S. This restaurant has the worst wifi. Using their wifi for 30 minutes, got interrupted 2 times and disconnected one time.

The rating on door dash. Can't be for real.

The one star is because I have to and also because it's open late. I ordered through door dash. They're open late, had pho and I was treating myself after a long week. You cannot convince me this isn't from someone's house. My RARE steak was fully cooked. (And over cooked), the noodles were so oil (and it was so little of them). The slice of onion is so thick. I was grateful for the sides of chili oil and fried garlic. I put my bowl together (because I paid for it). And realized the taste is bland. All you can taste is the star anise added to it and cloves. The broth is TOO oily. What's going on with the oil?? I LOVE pho. Eat it often. This is offensive. These are screenshots from my review on door dash. The oil on my hands comes from the noodles. This can't even be salvaged. The price does not match the quality or quantity. This is unacceptable. My tongue is numb and not from the chili oil. If you can't make it, TAKE IT OFF THE MENU. I feel like I was just robbed from my hard earned money and door dash gave me back $8. I paid that in tips. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. Shame. I can't comment on the atmosphere because I wouldn't dare step in there now. My previous pho place was closed and it's further from my new address and I've been looking for a new place. Absolutely not. I'll be reviewing on yelp as well and FB if you're there.

I'm not sure what was going on today but they kept messing up our order. We did ordered a lot but there wasn't that many people there for how often they tried to give us something we didn't order. I enjoyed the food but it'll be hard going back because of all the mistakes.

Empire dim sum is a new a modern looking restaurant that I find very aesthetically pleasing. The vibes were great with fun music and excellent staff. The food overall was okay. Nothing wowed me out of the 5 dishes I ordered. I believe empire will serve as a serviceable palette cleanser to the mainstay Dimsum locations across Oklahoma

Big open space and staff was very friendly. There are also call buttons on the tables for quicker service. We went around 10:30am and there was one cart going around for steamed items but didn't see the fried things going around as much The tripe was delicious, well seasoned and has a nice crunchy texture. The shumai was also a hit. Egg foo young was one of the best my bf's ever had! It was so fresh and tasty. Only complaint I have with what we ordered was the shrimp in the steamed dumpling wasn't as plump and have that bite that I like. It was seasoned well but the texture was different Overall, a great reliable place for dim sum. We will come try other items out for sure

Another dim sum place here in OKC!! And they're pretty high tech by ordering from a QR code at the table. Service was quick and good came out quick too! We ordered a whole bunch of dishes and they came out hot! The food runner spoke little English but was very sweet and attentive on refilling our drinks. Everything was good, my only complaint is that the food was mild in flavor/bland. This would probably place second place on my list!

Finally a dim sum place that is actually flavorful and yummy.. this is my second time here within 3 weeks and I actually love it... the food is really good and the service is awesome.. it could be slow on service on Sundays because they're busier than usual .. this is the place I'll go from now on when I want dim sum in Okc.

Highly recommend for dim sum lovers. Quality is better than any dim sum Restuarant in Okc in my opinion. However, the selection was not as extensive but the quality is noticeable. Service was great with a QR code to order special items and a table bell to ring your server. The dumpling wrapper is thinner and seafood taste fresher than the other dim sum spots in okc (which me and my wife prefer). The chicken feet, although a little on the sweeter side, had a very tasty five spice taste. Chinese broccoli was flavorful, note that just the dark leafy parts of the vegetable is served. Don't expect the to see the crunchy stems in traditional dim sum places. I will definitely be coming back! Wish I could share more photos but I was too busy eating!

So I've lived in the city a long time and used to go get dim sum at grand house 20 plus years ago when they were the only place that offered dim sum. A few other places have open and closed over the years but all are about the same as grand house just okay at best. Now we have a real fresh dim sum place to eat at. Everything I tried was freshly made and not hard or sat for hours before it came to my table. I asked if they will offer soup dumplings later and they said yes. I will be back and glad that I don't have to dive to Tulsa for Mr. Kim dim sum when I crave small plate food.

Amazing! Definitely will fulfill a dim sum craving! So so so good! Very authentic dim sum.

Terrible experience here. We walked in unsure if they were open. There was about 5 people standing up front and didn't say a word or greet us. We were seated and told to scan the code for food. The food was mediocre. There is no cart like a typical dim sum place. The crispy shrimp tasted bland and the outside wasn't even cooked. Tasted like raw noodles. Everything was very oily. We didn't even get refills on our water's. Was disappointed in this place. We had high hopes since there were so many good reviews.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!

In doing this a few people would be disappointed. In going the chaos route, everyone was disappointed. It's disappointing to see a good place shoot itself in the foot due to poor management and horrible judgement.
