First time at a Mariscos place and I have to say I really enjoyed it!!! Flavors were great, but my fav was definitely the Langostinos...the sauce on it was soooo developed and tasty!! Reminds me of a Mexican version of Seafood boil! The Pulpo (octopus) was very meaty and soft too which I enjoyed. The oyster shots were fine, a bit too clamato tasting to me, even for the ceviche. To help we just put the ceviche in the Langostinos sauce and it was perfect. No carbs for this meal besides a few tostadas on the side, but you get pretty full over time. My only thing is that it can get really pricey really fast, but I understand since it is seafood. Service was fine and they were pretty busy when we came in but the food came out in good time, and we also got seated immediately. Ambiance is fine, it's pretty clean inside but also small.

My first time ever eating at a Mariscos restaurant and this one tastes amazing. They have a very flavorful sauce and the seafood is cooked to perfection. Their service was fast even though the restaurant was filled with seats. It's clean inside and there was plenty of parking available. It is a bit expensive but it is seafood so what else can you expect...

The food is very authentic. They have the best salsas for mariscos. The octopus was my favorite. The service was ok, which I don't mind because the food was delicious.

LOVE this place! The food and service are always top tier. Irene is such a sweetheart and truly cares about her customers. Aguachile novolato is my favorite.. I end up using the sauce on everything else I order. Music can be a bit loud but it's always a fun vibe. Highly recommend!

The food was on point. First time here. I will be coming back. Service was excellent. Thank you

Delicious as always! Our server Monica is always so attentive and sweet. The aguachiles had the perfect level of spice! Not too spicy but not too mild. The salmon plate was huge. Cooked perfectly.

Aguachile Verde Curtido * topped with red onion, cucumber, and (unripe) avocado slices * raw shrimp tossed in lime juice and salsa verde * spice kicks in slowly Mangochile Curtido * favorite item ordered * topped with red onion and cucumber slices and diced mango * raw shrimp tossed in mango sauce and chiltepin chili * less spicy than aguachile with salsa verde * super refreshing Spider Roll * fried crab meat, avocado, cucumber, masago * did not particularly stand out in quality or taste Mangoneada x 2 * watered down (tasted like mango syrup blended with ice) * large serving size (definitely can be shared between two people) * quick service * both aguachiles were served with tostada shells and saltine crackers on the side * filling portion sizes for a reasonable price * would revisit for their aguachiles and to try other menu items 8.5/10

This place is very good and decorated very nicely! The food was amazing and the drinks were VERY good! The server was a very nice and cute lady who did very well making sure everything was good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The food is good. Come all the way from I.E for their Micheladas and the emporio edamame. Mouth watering. Everything is good and this location is by far my favorite.

Ordered Philadelphia rolls, and literally got cream cheese rolls, the worst sushi place.

Before you call yourself emporio sushi learn to make simple Philadelphia rolls, and not roll cream cheese in rice.

Yummy food and incredibly attentive service! Los recomiendo muchísimo- la comida y servicio no es como ninguno. La salsa del taco gobernador le falta algo picante y quisiera que la tortilla fuera frita.

    El Tropical. Soooo good.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!

I tried their lobster roll and was honestly impressed by how fresh and flavorful it was. The lobster was generously portioned, tender, and packed with flavor without being overly heavy. The lobster mac and cheese was also a standout. It was super creamy, cheesy, and the perfect comfort food pairing. Even if lobster isn't your thing, they have plenty of shrimp options that were amazing like the coconut shrimp and shrimp fries! What I loved most was the quality of the seafood and the generous portions. Everything tasted fresh, and you can really tell they put care into their dishes. Definitely a great spot for a seafood craving, and I'll be coming back to try more of their menu! IG: your.SoCal.foodie

I think the chef needs to taste their food and truly put in some effort into making these items…read morebetter. My bf and I frequent the AMC right next door, so today after a movie we decided to check this place out. We ordered to share: the lobster roll combo ($25) with the clam chowder fries ($6) and a small 8oz side of lobster bisque ($8). We ordered on a tablet but after we ordered the girl behind the counter offered us two free drinks while we waited and she was super friendly, so 5 stars for service. The vibe of the place is super unique and fun inside, they had little shrimp and lobster magnets and decor and they were playing SpongeBob on tv. Even their packaging was very well presented. Unfortunately I think they need to spend more time perfecting their food than just having a cute vibe. The first bite we took was the lobster bisque and we were both shocked at how lukewarm it was, I almost wanted to go back inside to ask if they could warm it up because it was appalling the temperature they served it. Then we squeezed the lemon on the lobster roll (which we ordered the spicy aioli with) and I was truly surprised at how bland it was. Definitely could have used more sauce but honestly if something is tasty on its own it shouldn't need to be drowned in sauce. I was so glad I was sharing this because no part of me wanted to eat that whole dry flavorless lobster roll. The star of the show for us both was the clam chowder fries, the fries were absolutely tasty and would 100% order these again. In effort to save our experience with the other 2 dishes, we tried dipping the roll into the bisque but we just weren't feeling it at all. The more of the bisque we had, we just tasted pure butter like Paula Deen was back there in the kitchen preparing it herself. It wasn't a delicious indulgent type of buttery taste, it was honestly just too much that we didn't even finish the bisque. We immediately felt gross and bloated and decided we needed a walk before driving home. We walked over to Target with heavy guts and energy depleting quickly. On the walk back toward our car, I had to run to the restroom because the food immediately hit me in the worst way possible. On our drive home our mouths felt so dry and we both just felt awful and my bf ran straight to the restroom right when we got home. Bummer when a place that could be great for a lot of moviegoers just fails so hard. The clam chowder fries were good but they're also $13 if you order them without the combo so I'm not sure how often we'll be ordering. I truly hope my review is taken into consideration and the recipes get retested and perfected.

To share, we had the following dishes: - Seafood Combo #2: For the combos, you get to choose the components. We got the crawfish, shrimp, mussels, and lobster tail. All the seafood was delicious. The shells were easy to break and the seafood was nicely cooked and juicy. We got it in the House Special All in One sauce at medium heat and it was perfect! Super garlicky and flavorful with a good punch of heat. - Garlic Bread: Crispy and buttery. Went great with the seafood boil. - Cajun Garlic Noodles: We got this with shrimp. This was also flavorful and garlicky. The prices were pretty good for a seafood boil! A bib, gloves, cleaning wipes, and a roll of paper towels were provided which was nice. They also gave us a small ice cream with a flavor to choose (chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla) at the end. This was a nice addition since it cooled down the spiciness we had with the food. The interior was nicely decorated and fun. The service here was great and our server was super nice and attentive. Overall, a good spot for seafood boil in the area!

Started with 3Lbs of shrimp with the house all in one sauce it was so delicious it came with potatoes, corn and sausage it had so much flavor the amount of garlic they use is insane it's so good. The wings holy bro the were so gas they had Cajun wings and lemon pepper wings and they were so crunchy on the crust and so juicy when you take a bite and there was so much flavor in those wings fr 10/10. The garlic noodles are absolutely filled with flavor. They gave a generous portion and it put me to sleep it kind of reminded me of a pasta more than a garlic noodle, but it just was such a good dish. We also had the fried calamari as a side and those very tasty and have flavor. Also had fried shrimp and Cajun fries and they all had a really good flavor and crunch And finally for the drink I had a mango lemonade and it was so delicious and refreshing it was so good would get it every time Tim come I highly recommend it if you like lemonade The ambience is great and the restaurant was busy and I wanna give a huge shout out to Lucas.
