This rating is for their reservation system. I have never been here before and thought they only have Teppan tables (like the name of their restaurant). I saw that Yelp offers reservations and I booked a table for tomorrow for a celebratory dinner, with a memo asking if the teppan table was low enough for a wheelchair. I never received a response. I called to verify this question and they told me that there were no more teppan seats available. I couldn't understand what she was talking about, and I said I made a reservation online, and was told by here that I would have to sit at a regular table. WTF??? Apparently they have regular tables for you to order off the menu I think? And she never did answer my question if their teppan tables were wheelchair height. No apologies, just blamed Yelp for their reservation system and that I needed to make reservations weeks in advanced for a teppan table. This place needs to work with Yelp to figure out how to specify making reservations teppan vs. regular tables or just have people call and talk to a person to make reservations for a teppan table. Good thing I called otherwise I would've shown up for dinner tomorrow only to find out that I wouldn't have a seat at the table and disappoint my whole family. I ended up cancelling my reservation and making one at another teppan restaurant who did confirm they could accommodate a wheelchair. read more

We went ahead and ordered a variety of items as this was our first time here. Also honestly haven't had a teppan style meal since middle school haha. It started off with salad, then miso soup, then sushi; however, the service was extremely slow... it seemed like there were only two teppan chefs in the restaurant, which there were already two big parties before us. We waited basically 45 mins until he was able to grill for us, and we were losing our patience lol. Salad, miso soup, and sushi were all pretty standard. Not terrible, but at least decently quality. Presentation were all pretty nice. As for the teppan grilling, I didn't catch his name, but he was pretty cool. He said his voice wasn't in the best shape that day, so tbh it was hard for me to understand him, especially since everything else was pretty loud haha. So we had all chicken fried rice, filet mignon, chicken, scallop, shrimps, zucchini, onion, and mushrooms. The chicken fried rice was pretty nice actually, he cooked it very well. Filet Mignon was kinda toooo meaty? mainly the quality of the meat. Chicken was pretty nice. The scallops were actually my favorite, it was a right amount of soft and chewy! The chef cooked everything pretty well, and the amount of items we ordered had us extremely full... One thing I would say though is that I believe there was a lot of MSG on all the items. It makes us extremelyyyy thirsty. Got back home and just kept feeling thirsty no matter how much water you drink lol. At the end, since celebrating birthday, they were nice to also prepare and sing for cake cutting. You can also get $30 off for celebrating your birthday here for signing up in their 'membership'. Gratuity already included for big parties. Overall, it was still a nice experience, however the service was just sooo slow. Probably they are understaffed? There wasn't that many people dining here besides us and the two parties, so there were still plenty of empty dining tables and teppan stations. The food here is better than benihana, but makes you feel soooo thirsty. It's not as theatrical as benihana I would say, but the food quality makes up for it a bit. We came here this evening to celebrate our family's three birthdays. It is nice that we were given the option to sit in the private room or in the main dining area. In addition, the restaurant was able to accommodate our large group of 13 guests without a problem - we literally took up an entire teppanyaki table. It was my first time here and I have to say that the service we received from all the servers and cooks was excellent. Just also want to give a shout-out to Lynn, the restaurant manager, for going above and beyond to ensure my aunt and relatives were pleased. Decided to try this hibachi place instead of the usual Benihana and it didn't disappoint. Got seated and greeted right away. Lots of options on the menu and once order was placed, got salad and soup served and the chef came out. The communal table is a big one that's all connected to the chef and serve multiple groups conveniently. My chef was a great performer and super entertaining. The show was way better than Benihana like juggling fire sticks, fire fingers and tossing egg. The only downside is if you order salmon it's not cooked by the chef in front of you.. instead it's cooked in the kitchen and served when done. There's also tables if you don't want to sit in front of the hibachi grill. Parking is in a plaza shared with other restaurant. I remember coming here for a Yelp elite event. It took a really long time, but I actually went back after a few years and paid for a meal. It was pretty good. I really like the layout of this place and it is very easy to get a private room. Even with a little party of three for me, we were able to get a table service and a private room. Granted it is not very busy if you come during the off hours. You get a lot of food with your order and the price is really reasonable in my opinion. The Benihana type of show was pretty impressive.
