Screaming thank you, thank you, thank you to Charles Teraoka who made my dream of owning my very own Hyundai Elantra come true! A frequent customer of Enterprise, I would always request a Hyundai Elantra in whatever state my business travel would take me and I would imagine myself having one of my own. But due to challenged credit from a prior repossession during a difficult time in my life I thought that would be impossible. As fate would have it, my struggle bucket gave out on me and I was in frantic search of a car. My mom said she had just seen an Enterprise Car Sales commercial and suggested I give them a try. Enter the King of Montclair (his words not mine lol). On Wednesday 8/24/16, I called the nearest location and spoke with Charles T. When he answered the phone he was very enthusiastic and professional. But me being leery about car sales people, I wasn't so impressed. Thinking here we go... I told him I wanted to cut to the chase and not waste his time or mine. Told him about my credit and asked if they worked with people in my situation. He said absolutely and briefly explained their vast network of banks with various financing options. He invited me to come and look at some cars and complete the application so he could see what he could do. Still not convinced, I told him I wasn't going to waste my time looking at cars without certainty of financing. I asked if I could complete the application online and get an answer about financing. And I told him I already know what I would like so I really didn't need to see any other cars. There was a 2012 Hyundai Elantra on the website within my price range. He agreed and sent me the application link via text message. Next thing you know, I received a text message from Charles with a picture of a gorgeous Hyundai Elantra that he had on the lot with my name on it! I asked him what year it was and he said 2015!!!! With only 39K miles!!!!! Soon after I received quick video from Charles and the car! It was soooo awesome! During the video clip he said I am working on getting this car for you! Talk about service will a smile and then some! Within the next hour I received another text from Charles saying Congratulations! You've been approved! Come pick up your car today! I couldn't believe it. That evening I met with Charles! He greeted me with a warm hug and was dressed so professional that I immediately felt comfortable with him and believed that he was sincere and was not just trying to make a sale, he was advocating for me! I met with finance manager Lucio Alvarado who negotiated an amazing deal given my situation. My car payment was 1/2 of what I anticipated it would be! We had a deal! Unable to add the car to my insurance until the following business day, I had to wait until the next business day to bring my new baby home. Here's the icing on the ...I didn't have a way to get to the dealership. Charles picked me up from my house and brought back to the dealership to pick up the keys and car. On Thursday 8/25/16, I drove off into the sunset the proud owner of a 2015 Hyundai Elantra! The End.
