Rented a pick up truck for a small move. The reservation was confirmed for 10:30 AM . At 9am I received a call that because I booked the truck "after hours" the day before they did not have a truck available. We were scrambling to find another truck rental and lo and behold the second enterprise car rental place that we booked also did not have a truck available. When I was transferred to the "truck rental" department, they also could not find me a pick up truck today. I have rented 100+ cars over the last 10 years, and I have never experienced something like this before. It's my understanding that enterprise rental locations are all owned separately but how in the world could they not know what the inventory is at their own location? This Enterprise location is good. My wife and I booked an F150 to explore the mountains while my Dad was in town from the UK. On the morning of the booking I called to confirm and they mentioned that the Ford F-150 was no longer available. Good news is when I turned up the manager met us and offered us a wide array of similar vehicles. We ended up taking a Nissan Armada which was amazing, great drive and performance. Overall the experience with this Enterprise location was fantastic. The manager did an excellent job to ensure our service was 5-star. Will be back again soon. read more

I rented a car for 8 days from Enterprise while my car was being repaired after being hit while parked in a parking lot. During the initial inspection while picking up the car, I agreed and signed that everything looked okay with the car. Upon return, the gentleman doing to inspection noticed what he said was "two to three spots of hail damage" on the roof of the car. Unfortunately I had not inspected the roof on the initial inspection, as it was an SUV and I needed to stand on the door frame of the car in order to look at the roof, and was not directed to do so (a mistake I will never make again). The car had been parked in a garage while at home or work while in my possession and had never been in the presence of hail during the time of my rental, which I explained. I was told I had to sign something agreeing that there was hail damage in order to return the car (my second mistake), and didn't quantify how much. Long story short, the damage was repaired the day after I returned the car and I received an invoice for nearly $1,300 for over 25 areas of hail damage covering the entire car (ironically more than the cost of the damage done to my car necessitating the rental in the first place). The claim was turned over to Enterprise's "Damage Recovery Unit" (DRU) and I consulted my insurance company and a lawyer. In the end, because I had signed a document agreeing that initially there was no hail damage, and that upon return there was, I was liable and had to pay for the damages. The DRU was incredibly difficult to get ahold of, very unprofessional and threatened to turn me over to collections the day after I received my invoice in the mail, less payment from my insurance company. I was undoubtedly scammed by this terrible company and will never be a customer of Enterprise again. Lesson learned, don't rent from Enterprise, don't sign anything you don't completely agree with and inspect and take video of every surface of a rental vehicle car on pickup and drop off. read more

Excellent service. I have an allergic response to cigarette smoke and cannot accept a car that had people smoking. There just aren't many of those, cars without cigarette smoke. They tried just about every car they had available, until somehow they got a new car for me. Loved the car. Excellent performance, handling, electronics. Highly recommend this location. Beware, don't try to rent during COVID (even though they will let you book for this location). I've rented from this location many times with no real issues. I needed a car for 24 hours in June, booked online as I always do, no issues. No follow-up call or email telling me there might be an issue. I run (literally) over after work to pick up by 6pm only to find out this location is closed. I call the 800 number posted on the door and after talking to several robots I finally get a guy that tells me what I already know, the location is closed but I can pick up a car at the airport... 25 miles away. While I'm on the phone with the robots, around 5:45, I get a call from a local rep who leaves me a message telling me my reservation is "confirmed" but that I would have to pick it up at another location 5 miles away... by 6pm. No drop-off, no curbside. Nothing. I get it that times are crazy and there are much bigger issues than a 24 hour car rental, but this one is pretty easy... don't let loyal customers book at a location that isn't open. I honestly don't trust to rent from any Enterprise location now or in the future. read more

I am giving this location 4 stars because Bella went above and beyond to help me with the rental and my very difficult insurance company. She really helped make a very difficult experience less horrible. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because when I picked up the vehicle it took quite awhile (over an hour). They seemed understaffed, didn't have many vehicles available and none of them were clean/ready to go. BUT, having good customer service is a lost art these days, so it made up for some of these short-comings! read more

I usually reserve glowing reviews for delicious cafes or restaurants, so this is the first one I've written for a car rental place. But! The incredible customer service I got from Kory at this Enterprise was too good to be true. First off, he's just a super nice guy which is always appreciated. Secondly, he hunted down an amazing discount for me when it turned out that because of my own lack of research, I would have been paying a lot more than expected for my rental. Third, I got a free upgrade, plus advice on what to do when a hailstorm hits!! And last of all, I was in and out the door super fast despite showing up a couple hours before my reserved rental time. I had made my reservation April 21st for a mid-class vehicle during the week of June 25-18 thru the 4750 Leetsdale Dr, Denver, CO location. I confirmed the reservation a day before. I was to be picked up at 800am and was told I would be called when the driver left the store - around 730am. I live approximately 2.5 miles from the Leetsdale location. Eight o'clock came and went. I called the store at 810am. The person who answered the phone said the computers were down, and they had no way of knowing what reservations were active for the day, nor did they have any of those reservation holders' contact information. That was why I had not received the driver departure call and why no driver had been sent out to pick me up. He took my phone number and street address and said a driver was on the way. At 845am with still no driver, I went to call them again. In the interim, a call had gone straight to vmail with the phone not ringing. I called that number instead, thinking that it was the driver. It was from a different Enterprise location asking me for a street address to pick me up. I called that number back and a woman named Bailey, said the reservations had been sent to them, without pickup location information. She did not know the reservation was a transfer. The 4440 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO Enterprise location fulfilled the reservation with the same level vehicle for the same price I was quoted back in April. It would seem to be a best business practice to have *some* record of the upcoming day's reservations stored on the staffs iPads or other devices. That way, if the computer systems do go down, there is a backup, and the staff can notify customers of any problems/delays, etc... rather than waiting for confused (and now late) customers to call and ask where their rides/cars are. It would also seem to be a best business practice to alert the customer that a change in rental location was being made, and to alert the new location of the reservation transfer, and to give them the customers street address so they could get a driver enroute immediately. That would be a professional courtesy to all concerned parties, and would save time the customers' time - in my case another 40 minutes of additional wait. The second star is for the fact that they did *at least* transfer the reservation rather than doing nothing at all. read more

I've been loyal to Enterprise for a number of years. Today when I returned my car they claimed there was hail damage to the vehicle. The story I kept getting was that there was hail in the Denver area and south last night. I explained I was 3 1/2 hours away last night and just drove in this morning and at no time during my week long rental did I expose the vehicle to hail. Some of the damage they were claiming was not visible by my sight or camera. Seems that they want to include my return with the other cars returned today with hail damage. This review is not necessarily about this location but about Enterprsie Rent A Car, in general. A few years ago this was still a recepetive, responsive, customer service friendly, dependable, go to company. Now, it is a confused, lackluster company with pat answers to problems and poor customer service without even the ability to guarantee the car a customer will receive (When I reserved an SUV, for instance, they cannot tell you or guarantee whether it will be an all wheel/4 wheel drive. How is that going to help when you're renting it for snowy weather?). Even the offices that used to clean and well kept are, candidly, a mess. In fact, when I read the reviews of various locations, they are almost all average. Average is not what I expect in service, and that is the most that I can possibly imagine rating this company. This car rental company is about as dishonest as you can find. I was told that I had reserved a small 4-door car but once I arrived to pick up my rental, I was told that all they had left was a big gas-hog Dodge Charger. Then when my own vehicle was completed at the body shop, Enterprise gave me 90 minutes to return my vehicle or be charged out of pocket for an additional day. I wasn't even aware that my own car was ready yet. The manager, CHRIS, then immediately closed my account so that my insurance company couldn't pay for an additional day, and CHRIS put my $50 deposit IN ENTERPRISE'S POCKET. What kind of BS is this? It has been over 6 months of fighting back and forth with the company. The first car I rented had horrible cigarette residual fumes that I noticed as I drove to work. I didn't have time to go back and get another car at that time. I called and Anthony was able to procure another car that was just fine the following day. However, with the smoke residue, the first car should be taken out of their fleet. Anthony gets 5 stars. Ok, so you will have to put up with them telling you over and over about how you will have to pay $1000 for even the smallest scratch. Second, since I was dropping the car after they were closed, I was responsible for the car until they came in the next morning. They kept telling me these things over and over. Of course they just wanted to scare me into paying for the insurance I didn't need. Then I had to wait 10 min for the car. Then it was completely out of gas, only 8 miles left! They told me it was fine, just return the car completely empty. Yea right, nice way to run out of gas. Took another 15 min for them to put gas in the car. You might save a few dollars, but it isn't worth the stress. read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This was the worst experience at an enterprise we have ever had. We booked weeks in advance to get a call the day before saying we booked at the wrong location would you like us to cancel so you can book at the airport. We canceled only to find out EVERYWHERE was sold out of cars. Minutes later we call back to see if we can just pick up our car the following morning of our trip to be told there weren't any cars available. Even though we had booked a car weeks out. After some back and forth they told us they would have a car from another location but the price would go up about 10 dollars a day. We absolutely needed a car so we agreed and were told a Toyota Camry would be there for us at 8am. Of course we get there after traveling all day the previous day and are waiting for our car. A customer who came in after us and made their reservation THE DAY before made a scene and was given our car while they went to go get more cars from another location. Not only did we book a car in advance and show up at the time we designated, they still were not prepared. We had to wait more than 45 minutes for another car. We reserved AND paid for a full size sedan because we knew there would be snow and ice, but they brought us a tiny Chevy spark. Unfortunately we had a job interview to go to and did not have time to fight it. We get the bill after the weekend to find out they also charged us double what they told us! This place takes complete advantage of people who have no other option. We flew across the country and had no other way but to take what was given. Stay away from this place. It is so poorly managed and they don't care about customer service. To make reservations you can't keep and not try to make the error right? Never again. read more

I've rented from Enterprise 15+times a year since 2008. As a small business owner, Enterprise has always been my go to choice for rental cars. I had the absolute worst customer service experience in this location today. I mean the worst. After going back and forth trying to provide enough proof that I lived at my residence (utility bills, paychecks, notarized paperwork) I was still denied of a rental car that I had to have for work purposes. Thank god for the Enterprise location down the street that looked up my frequent renter number and had my keys ready for me when I arrived. Seriously. The guys at this branch are useless. read more

Enterprise Car Rental, Glendale, CO. Worst car rental experience ever. We specifically reserved a Ford Expedition for road trip, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Employee Wyatt called night before we left and confirmed an Expedition, not a substitute. Needed 3 seats and luggage room. Arrived at agreed time, waited 30 minutes, Manager Bella Kenny tried to substitute an Armada, 3 seats but no luggage room. Had no more room than out Volvo XC 90. Told "that's it, you agreed to Expedition or similar". Could not fit in 5 people and luggage, ruined our trip. Bella was the least helpful and most disagreeable service person I have ever dealt with. read more

They would always price match/ beat the competition and allowed me to rewrite the same contract, and were always fast, friendly and professional. Great shop! It is a very busy location for a relatively small facility. I have rented from them many times and never had any issue I couldn't get worked out. People have to understand this is not an airport location with dozens of vehicles and options a small shop simply doesn't have. Enterprise offers the convenience of neighborhood stores that other rental companies don't. The haters that say the staff was disinterested or didn't care should look to their own rudeness because that has not been my experience in over 20 rentals from this site. read more
