They had great prices, lower than prices at other Enterprise locations & lower when compared to other brands, though I'm sure this is subject to the market conditions at the time of rental. Regardless, I found the service outstanding at the FtW 7th street location when I picked up the car and when I returned it several days later. While the Enterprise airport locations are open late, airport rentals tend to be more expensive when compared to other locations as the prices include airport fees. Also, a local must have a credit card to rent at airports but can use debit cards, with some additional paperwork, at all other DFW locations (my additional paperwork consisted of proof of my monthly socsec payments which took 30 seconds to get online & my most recent electricity bill which I also quickly obtained online). However, non airport locations in the DFW area have more limited hours, typically 7:30-6:00 on weekdays, & on weekends, most close while some are open for a few hours each day and some are open only for a few hours on Saturdays. Also, some locations allow after hour drop offs while others don't. To pick up the rental car, I took the Amtrak train, which was running late, into FtW. Though non airport DFW Enterprise locations close at 6:00, their last reservation spots are also at 6:00. As the train ran late, I was running really late; consequently, I took an Uber rather than public transpo; even so, I arrived about 6:20. I was frantic. I expected to find the door locked as I had recently at the Dallas location on Central at 6:03, but the door was open, & they were happy to rent a car to me. There was actually another customer who came in after me, & they were most pleasant with him as well. A couple of cars were also returned during this time, & the employees were also gracious & pleasant with these customers. When I was supposed to return the rental car, I underestimated traffic; consequently, the earliest I'd arrive was 6:40. I tried to call the store 2 or 3 times while I was renting the car, including when I saw how late I was going to be in returning it. If you call before 6:00, you may be put on hold for a long time, but you will be able to talk with someone by holding or by calling back, but if you call after 6:00, even if it's only by 1 or 2 minutes & even if employees sre still working, you will not reach anyone. While the employees worked late when I picked up the car, I didn't figure that they worked late every night. So, I knew they would not be there when I arrived, but at that point, I was so close that I decided to keep trying, & I'm so glad I did I also had to stop & get fuel so I wouldn't be charged for it. While I already thought they'd be closed when I arrived, I hurried getting gas just in case. Regardless, I didn't arrive until almost 6:50, & I couldn't believe they were still there & happy to see me. They quickly checked me in, & at 7:00 when I departed, they were still on the job, helping customers well past closing & doing so very graciously, very nicely, very pleasantly. I really enjoyed visiting with them while we conducted business. While the Dallas Oak Cliff location has very nice employees, esp a female supervisor who will go well beyond the call of duty to help you, I'd never before seen employees who are so charming & so nice & who act like they are so happy to help when customers arrive late even though such has caused them to work late. Not only was this the best Enterprise experience that I've ever had, & I've had many of them, it was the best experience I've ever had with a car rental company!!! Our experience with Enterprise was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were given a rental vehicle with completely non-working tail lights, which is a serious safety issue and should never have been rented out. After spending time on the phone with customer service, we were told the issue would be resolved. Instead, when we arrived at the location, we were offered a damaged truck that didn't even have A/C vents in the back, despite the staff knowing we were traveling with children in the middle of summer. To make matters worse, the rental manager, Tajae White, gave us a truck with expired license plates. It's unbelievable that a rental company would send customers out in a vehicle that isn't properly maintained or up to date. The entire process was nothing but a runaround. We expected safe, reliable transportation and basic customer service, but instead dealt with unsafe vehicles, poor communication, and a complete lack of concern for our family's comfort and safety. I cannot recommend this Enterprise location based on our experience. I would give a negative star if possible. read more

We booked a car online, the total was $130 and no mention of any extra cost or deposit of any kind, when we arrived we were told the total was $430 which was including a $300 deposit, we had the $ however were blind sided as we did not prepare so we asked why it was not mentioned on their website, they said they give u a call 24 hrs in advance to let you know if this deposit, however we did receive this call the day before and were still not given that information. Luckily we were able to overdraft on our credit card for the time being, however I don't like scams especially coming from out of state with that being my only transportation, and therefore I'm staring a one. read more

Like I say in so many reviews, it's one visit on one day, and in this case, it was a dropoff, so not a typical situation, but it's worth the review. The location is easy to find and mostly easy to get to; GPS will probably take you to a place where you have to make a U turn to get back to the entrance, but that's not their fault. Once inside the gate, I parked the rental that I was there to return and went inside. The interior was clean and well lit, and was staffed by two reps behind the counter, both of whom were professionally dressed and very friendly. I indicated that I was returning, one of the gentlemen took my name and looked up my rental. Upon locating the rental, he saw that I needed a ride to nearby Caliber Collision, and verified that info. He asked if email was OK for the receipt, and told me what the total was. There was another customer in the shop that needed a ride as well; within five minutes, the rep behind the counter summoned another employee from the back and asked that he give me and the other customer a ride. We just ended up hopping into the car that I had just returned for the ride to the shop. At all times, the process went smoothly and the staff was very professional and courteous. First time renting a vehicle, so maybe a heads up on what all I have to provide before hand would be great! Only reason why I need a rental is because my vehicle is at the shop. I got picked up from the shop to Enterprise. First they need my physical card with $50. Okay I understand you may need a deposit but a PHYSICAL card to do so. Second I have a restriction on my card. Now I don't qualify for a rental??? Like damn, it's still a drivers license. I told them I do not have a ride home. How will I get home??? All I got was a sorry. Shrug her shoulders and said uber. Really no I did not plan to waste my time and money in no uber. Horrible experience. Maybe when you send a reminder include more information. Just terrible service and incompetence at this place. Unsuccessfully able to rent due to an error in their system, and that I simply needed to call the 800 number. Being a Saturday, I call in front of the agent assisting, and they are closed on the weekends. I asked what they can do remedy this, and they say there's nothing they can do, with no sense of urgency. Had they diligently checked and found this error when I made the reservation, I could have resolved it with corporate during business hours or made other accommodations ahead of time. read more

Great company but their store cannot be reached. They were supposed to pick me up and have not shown up and they do not answer the phone. My insurance can't get them to answer the phone either. I would love to change my review as soon as they make it right Update I was able to locate another Enterprise and they called the store on West seventh and send somebody out right away to pick me up. Yay. From what I understand, their phone system has been down and corporate has been aware of this for quite some time. This happens at least once a month and they cannot contact their customers so this is not the fault of the stores. Enterprise corporate needs to look into this and their lights. I was VERY happy with my experience at this location! I talked with multiple customers service reps, and each of them were helpful and kind; each even had sense of humor. Minimal hold time on my phone calls (I was nervous to be traveling in the frozen weather and had a few questions), and great in person interactions as well. The customer service here was/is appreciated! There was a limited car selection (my rental experiences have mainly been at airports- lots of cars). The Rav4 I snagged had just been cleaned and apparently serviced because the "maintenance required" notification showed on the dash, to which I was reassured merely needed to be cleared and was safe to drive. There was a funny scent at first, but that was temporary. Equipped with a single-packaged Clorox wipe, too. My rating is 4 stars because I hadn't been picked up at the time I was scheduled. Frozen weather was on its way in, and I was eager to beat it. I also would have liked a wider selection of cars larger than sedans, but I understand that a smaller location like this doesn't have much lot space. I highly discourage anyone from renting cars from this Enterprise. I have been a loyal customer for the past 5 years, but I've never experienced worse customer service than at this location. As a platinum member, I'm disappointed by the rude treatment, especially from a young employee with short hair who seems more interested in weightlifting than assisting customers. He talks down to you, makes you wait, and tries to charge for undisclosed items. I won't be renting from this place again and suggest finding a different branch. After a horrible experience with an agent on 5/4/2024 who disconnected the phone call because he would rather leave me stranded on the side of the road at night I tried another office only because that Enterprise is the only company my insurance works with. On 5/6/2024 I called the office at 300 W Loop 820, Ft. Worth and spoke with branch manager, Drew Bolin. He changed my experience 100%. He found one of 2 vehicles I was looking for and keeps searching for the 2nd. He stayed in constant contact with me through texts and phone calls even though I could tell he was being pulled in all directions from other customers in person and on the phone. He kept his cool and stayed professional where most people wouldn't have. Drew deserves a promotion, pay raise, day off with pay and a glass of wine. Cheers Drew! read more

We had rented a car from Dallas Fort Worth airport from Alamo car. On the way to downtown Dallas Fort Worth the tire light went on and we were forced to call roadside assistance. We were told we could swap the vehicle out at the enterprise located at this location. It was 5:45pm and they close at 6:00pm. We were approximately 15 minutes away per GPS and we called in advance to see if they'd be able to swap the vehicles out. The man we spoke to stated that at 6 o'clock they shut their computers off and leave. it was made very apparent they would not be willing to stay the extra five minutes to allow us to swap a vehicle. This led to almost 5 hours of back-and-forth issues with roadside assistance trying to get a car, wanting us to take an Uber all the way back to the airport which meant missing our appointment downtown. It's unfortunate that five more minutes at a location where are ready at would have saved this headache. But I guess that's just the way things are here. read more

It started with me & the body shop having to call them 3 times to come pick me up, after I waited 45 minutes past the time they were supposed to be there. Then, the car was not very clean and smelled like smoke. It was the poorest quality car I have ever had from Enterprise. When I finally returned the car after my car was repaired, I had to call the location 5 times to get a final receipt for my reimbursement. This still did not get results, so I had to call the main Enterprise customer service and I received my receipt immediately. If you have to use enterprise in Ft Worth, I highly advise against this location & would recommend the Meecham Airport location instead. read more

Very disappointed with our experience at this location. Pulling off the lot in the rental (white Audi SUV) and the brakes are grinding horribly! Informed one of the representatives, Nehemiah Casten, who replied "It's a low mileage vehicle, so I doubt it's the brakes." He didn't attempt check it at all!!! After rudely cutting me off multiple times, I asked for his last name and he refused to provide it. Long story short, we cancelled the rental and we're not given any paperwork proving the contract was cancelled. I asked multiple times for proof of cancellation and was denied. I asked the manager for a handwritten statement, she proceeds to write on the back of business card "contract cancelled by (rep's name) at (time)." Very unprofessional!! My family would've been on a 14 hour road trip in an upgraded rental with bad brakes. Stay away from this careless location. read more

Our vehicle has been in the service repair for 3 days and we have yet to get a rental vehicle. We are having to find rides and or uber to get to our destinations. I recommend Enterprise and speak very highly of this company to anyone who is looking to rent a car but after today, I am thinking it maybe time to try somewhere else! I had to rent a car due to my Ford Explorer being in the shop for some suspension work being done. Its been about a month and it was time to go in today, March 19th 2019 and renew my contract. I called and spoke with Stephanie. She was extremely polite and so helpful! I told her I needed something bigger because I have two girls who play sports and the Tuscan is just to small! She told she would have a Tahoe waiting for me when I came in. She was wonderful! I show up to the 7th street location and speak with Stephanie. She was helping someone so I was greeted by a Ciara. She went outside to inspect the car and take down mileage. She walks back in and speaks to another women who's there. That women approaches me and says Mrs. Booten there's dog hair in the car and we're going to have to charge you extra to clean it. I honestly thought she was joking. She then proceeds to say, we can't rent you out that Tahoe because of the condition the Tuscan is in. She also throws in while taking to Stephanie, why did you rent out that car it's for someone else tomorrow.. It was obvious she just didn't want to rent me the car. There were people standing there as she sat there embarrassing me and talking down to me. I have a yellow lab. She does shed sometimes on to me or my girls but she never gets in my car. Yet another reason I was so embarrassed. Calling me out like that in front of people is unprofessional and not okay!! She then has me walk out with a worker who cleans the cars and ask him in front of me if the car would be easy to clean. He says yes. No problem. It was a few pieces of dog hair! At this point I'm in shock! I've never been treated this way!! They decide it's fine, walk me to the Tahoe and I leave.. 10 minutes later Ciara is calling me over and over. I call back and she says, I'm sorry I forgot we were renewing your contract. I'm going to run your card for $500..... What?? I'm positive I have been overcharged anyway and I'm not sure how you not doing your job while I'm there is my problem since you decided you would somehow blame that on me! I'll be looking into all that tomorrow when it comes to me overpaying. I then check my bank and she's charged me over $700!!!! I'm so livid right now!!! I will not ever rent from that location again. I'm also contemplating on returning the Tahoe tomorrow and renting else where just because of how poorly they treated me!! You need to look into these matters more carefully. My company recently switched to Enterprise from Avis, so when I needed to take a trip I figured might as well check them out. Last week I needed to take a disabled parent on a long midweek drive to visit a relative in hospice. I casually mentioned that I wanted something comfortable for him given the circumstances. I ended up with a literally brand new luxury boat that was significantly more car and comfort than I needed, in a good way. Picking up and dropping off the car was a breeze, but more important Ashley and the whole team here were caring, knowledgeable, and friendly. I felt like I was living in an Enterprise commercial. They elevated the experience of renting a car -- and it was cheaper than their competition. They earned my business for the future. read more

Uneven service at this location. My rental was reserved & partially paid by insurance. The location picked me up to initiate rental, but no ride available at the end of the rental period. The specified compact car was not available, but I was given a slight "upgrade." However, the exterior of the black car was mud splattered, with clear mud smears on floor mats. The tank was just above half full, which I documented with my phone camera. The car was returned with a full tank to avoid issues. The insurance company gave me short notice to return the car. Unfortunately, I left an new item item with price tag clearly in place in the back seat of the car, in my haste. Not only did I not receive a call about this item from Enterprise staff, but when I returned to check on it, the female manager first served the male customer who came in after me; also, though someone went into the lost & found, my item was not there. Let me be clear that all employees, save the location manager, were polite, cordial & helpful. Enterprise clearly needs a greatly improved system for lost & found items. Will I recommend Enterprise to others? Not at this time. read more

Received the worst service with enterprise rental on West 7, unfriendly staff, acted as if they really didn't want to her there, we do not want to do business with them again nor their terrible customer service that contradicts your advertising! please also take note that your rude and lying staff emailed me a contract that listed a totally different car than what she left with. The rental agreement lists a Toyota and she has a Hyundai. Further the car has something dragging the ground and makes noise while you are driving, but your awful employees says it's fine and not a big deal, they want me to take more time out of my day and take the car to the airport and exchange it, he wants me to drive a car that is not on my rental agreement! Finally, he lied and said they would bring another car out around 2:45 but of course they never showed up; wasting my time and further inconveniencing my weekend dealing with an inoperable car and bad customer service! Therefore send someone to get your car, refund her credit car and we will spend our money somewhere else. Great thing is there are other options. Lastly the entire conversation was recorded with a very small snippet attached hereto! All Enterprise has to do was make this right as they state in the advertising. I wish o. When the vehicle was unavailable he upgraded us to a better car. He went above and beyond even giving my daughter a pen and paper to draw. so we rented a car to go on a cruise out of state and one when we got back I video everything and take pictures when renting a car y'all need to make sure you do but so when we get off the cruise I am now told that me and my 3 children are stranded in Texas because I used a debit card and needed a credit card in Texas to take a car across state lines, mind you I double checked after the messed up the first reserv and charged me an additional $72 for a "1 way" and they said everything was good until we had to roll around in a Uber until we could figure out what tp do they did not offer a discount or refund and said sorry nothing they could do and then they gave me a disconnected number for corporate on top of that I just got a damage claim which I was able to dispute as I have video proof, they rip people off all the time and are not held accountable nor do they offer anything to fix it oh and thanks for putting us in a compact car and charged me more when we needed a full size like I paid for it was a very uncomfortable ride and almost ruined our cruise as I had to try and deal with this mess the whole time to try and make sure i could get me and my kids home! read more

Service was an abomination. Young woman was leaning on the window when I arrived and didn't even stand up when I came in for my rental. She also tried to charge me an $extra 40/day without explaining to me the insurance choices.
