The Enterprise in Glendora I felt left me stranded after they told me they were going to pick me up. I told them I needed to rent a car on that day. The high winds the night before blocked my in. I was asked to wait outside and waited for about 30 mins (their ETA). No arrival. I called them and they then told me they could not come that I would have to call for Uber to bring me but they would pay for it. I finally arrived & dropped off. To my surprise they were closed (12noon Saturday). Stranded. I was not told to arrive before a certain time and was not called back to inform me. They had my number. I could not find another Renta car place still open plus I had to call another Uber I had to pay for. Needless to say I had a bad experience with this particular Enterprise. read more

If II I could do negative stars I would. Last Friday I rented a car to bring my husband home from the hospital. I picked up the car at 1 pm and drove to the hospital to drop off clothes. I then drove home. About an hour later I received a call stating that my husband was not doing well and would not be coming home. I immediately returned the car that I drove 8 miles in and was told by the manager that I needed to pay 132.96 even though I only has the car 3 hours. I was very upset about my husband and crying the manager Hyman did not even care. I will admit I did yell at him and all he could say was don't yell at me. You took the car off the lot and that is there policy. He did say he could charge me $ 60. I was still angry and he turned and walked away. Looked at my bill on my credit card today and he charged the $136.96. That man should not be a manager and my first impression of Enterprise is if I need a car I would much rather walk then rent from a place like that. Don read more

During the check out process they told us that we are responsible for insurance coverage on the vehicle and did not tell us that signing the screen means that we opted in to pay $10.99 damage waiver fee. $10.99/ day is not a lot of money to pay in the grand scheme of things but the fact that they were dishonest about the charges is the biggest problem. If you rent from this company beware and read everything twice otherwise they may pull one over on you!!! read more

Great Customer Service. I rented a Kia Soul from Friday-5/25 & returned it today Tuesday-5/29, the car was a good drive from San Dimas Ca. to Vacaville Ca. John help me with the transaction & i ask to add the insurance, when I return the car today & got the total payment, I was surprised that they charge the insurance per day & told the guy (manager, sorry forgot the name) that I was not informed, I thought it covers the total days of rental, so He said "I apologize for the confusion, let me adjust the price" & the total payment was to my satisfaction. I made reservations for small car a month in advance. When I arrived they gave me an SUV because they did not have small cars. I called next day trying to exchange it for smaller car. Literally go anywhere else but here!!! Terrible experience the 3 times I've tried using this location. In my most recent experience I had reserved an F150 truck and needed to transport 5 people and large cargo load. They did not even have an F150. The attendant (Alex?) tried to offer me a van saying i can put down the back seat and it can load as much as a truck and still carry 5 people even though it had captains chairs. Yeah right! He then said they had a Tacoma available but tried to charge me the same rate as the bigger truck. He then acted annoyed that I wanted him to go inside and redo my reservation to reduce the rate for the Tacoma. I couldnt be happier thanks to Alex, he was so friendly and outgoing yet professional, all rolled up into one! Horrible. Just came from here and had a horrible experience with the manager Alex. I had a reservation and I got there about 45 mins later (usually fine every other time I've rented there), and they had given my car away. I waited 35 mins and then Alex tells me they don't have a car ready for me and that the one I reserved had been recalled. I understand it being busy but why make me wait that long just to tell me that? I left and cancelled the reservation. read more

He did the same thing as the employees under his supervison. In short, he failed to deliver, even after being made aware by corporate, which was the reason he was initially forced to contact me and waste my time. ***BEWARE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR PROPERTY*** (Worth the read) If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is so scandalous. I rented a Nissan Rogue sport which had the low tire pressure light on the entire time driving it but that's not even what the 1 star review is about. I took back the rogue sport at roughly about 5:35 pm parked it in the parking lot and everything went smooth...then at about 5:45 pm, I notice I forget an important piece of paperwork in there so I go back there and get there at about 5:50 pm to get my paperwork and the car was still parked in the exact same spot that I left it 15 minutes prior. I go get my stuff and again everything goes smoothly. I get home roughly around 6:05 pm and call them but they are closed (they closed at 6 pm). The next morning they opened at 7:30 AM and I called right on the dot and Alex the manager picked up. I explained what happened and that I left my jacket in the trunk and he said one moment...after being on hold for 10+ minutes I was hung up on so I just decided to go into the store after I had dropped my daughter off at school. I go in and talk to again Alex the manager and he said I could go check the car but nothing was found which I thought was VERY strange. I go to look at the car and see if it's in there and the trunk cover that was on and was covering my jacket that was in the bag with the receipt in it is no longer on like I had left it the previous night but it's sitting on the trunk floor (how i received the car) which I also thought was very strange. Seeing that, I knew they had to have seen the bag under neath the trunk cover when they took the trunk cover off. I was sitting and sitting and waiting and Alex let me go and look through the lost and found which consisted of literal trash. I talked to the cleaning guys while I was in the back and they told me "oh that's weird it must have been the guy that was here last night cleaning" and i asked his name and he said he didn't know his name and that was it, didn't seem too concerned and the other guy who was there cleaning wouldn't even look at me...I left almost in tears because of how I couldn't believe how my brand new jacket in a very large bag that was not to mention very expensive would just disappear and no one seemed to care. I then called to see when the car I dropped off was actually cleaned and Alex the manager told me it was cleaned this morning...so what the cleaning guy I had talked to told me was a complete lie because HE cleaned my car and he just had to throw it on someone else. I then asked Alex if they have cameras in the back where they clean the cars that i could look at and he said no. NO CAMERAS AT A CAR RENTAL PLACE?! Seriously?!? So I called Alex and told him that something sketchy is going on and that I will be taking this matter as far as I possibly could and he didn't seem to care about me or anything I had to say. Beware of renting a car here .... rented the Kia they walked around the vehicle and marked down dents and scratches at no point what so ever did they go over the fluids in the vehicle or even check before giving me the keys and after two days with it the check engine light oil light battery light all went of got stuck on my way to work and on top of all that the tow truck driver also a mechanic checked what's wrong with the vehicle explained the oil was over filled their was no coolant and they had a head gasket blown like the tow truck driver said this doesn't happen over night the rental place doesn't Mainteince their cars and blame you for what they give you I'm really upset about the situation read more

Slow service at this location however the employees are very friendly. I would recommend to clean up the office. The restroom was filthy. This is our second time at this location and both times the car we requested wasn't available. A heads up would have been appreciated as it set us back in our travel plans. In may I paid a $200 deposit that the guy specifically told me I WOULD GET BACK. When I turned in the car another guy literally laughed at me and said "you used the car didn't you? You aren't getting that back" ISN'T THAT WAS A DEPOSIT IS FOR??? TO GET BACK???? I was seriously so upset. Now I had to come back here this month and get a car... I called before returning it making sure I wouldn't be charged and I would get the deposit back because I didn't want to waste my time like last time. IT WAS THE SAME GUY WHO TOLD ME ID GET THE DEPOSIT BACK BY THE WAY... he said "no you owe this much and you aren't getting the deposits back" I went down there and the only gentleman that's ever been helpful helped me. He said "that guy doesn't know what he's talking about your account was messed up that's why it says that" WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WAS MESSED UP??? Isn't it your job to make sure things like this don't happen??? I know we all make mistakes but this time I was making damn sure I wasn't getting screwed over again. So he told me he would give me my deposit back no problem he was very nice and apologetic. ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND I STILL HAVENT GOT THE DEPOSIT BACK. I called and they said "looks like your bank is holding it" first of all you have no way of seeing if my bank is holding anything. They took such great care of me, I wish I could give them more than five stars! I took my old car in to the repair shop, where I was told it was no longer safe to drive. Huge bummer! Enterprise Rent-a-Car picked me up at the shop. They gave me a huge Buick Enclave, loaded with features, for just $40 a day. The rental experience was rapid and smooth. A big shout-out to Yvette, who was friendly, helpful, and an excellent communicator. Later that day, I bought a new car at an auto mall in Cerritos. I was afraid I'd have to return the rental car in Glendora, then get a ride back to Cerritos the next day to pick up my new car. But no, there was an Enterprise branch right across the street! So I dropped off the rental car there (for a very reasonable drop-off fee of $25), and I got to drive my new car home. Other than that, the customers during the time I was there should receive a 1 star, for their crappy attitudes and being demanding! MATTIE, ANDREW, CASTRO AND THE NEW FEMALE WERE ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL, KIND AND PATIENT (esp w those snobby customers)... I overheard one customer, who clearly smoked weed in the vehicle and left the residue/smoke within the vehicle, yell at Castro that he didn't smoke any weed. Clearly, the customer was lying... Prices are absolutely horrible, as are the staff. I rented a car for a weekend road trip, the shop I take my car to said they would call the rental agency and let them know to give me a discounted rate since I had already made my reservation. The car sucked (Fiat 500) but that is clearly not Enterprise's fault! I was however, super disappointed with their customer service and prices. The original price of the car was $25 a day and I had to return the car by 8AM on a Monday. No worries, I showed up at 2 minutes AFTER 8am because I couldn't find parking in their designated spots and ended up having to park and ASK them. So after asking them about where to return the car, I show up 2 minutes after 8AM and the same girl behind the counter has the nerve to tell me I am late by 2 minutes. I raged. I was there prior to 8AM and that was clear by the fact that I came in at 8AM and asked where I should park. Problem solved when talking to the manager. Next issue, Enterprise claims they could not verify that this was a shop rental since it was reserved under my name. I wouldn't be getting a discounted rate, I refrained from raging and went home... I called the mechanic later and they verified that they had called Enterprise and confirmed the rental and they would do so again. I ran out of time today and was unable to call Enterprise back and verify, but seriously... this is bullshit. I will never rent with them again, especially after the 2 minutes after 8AM bullshit this morning. Head elsewhere for your rental, otherwise I reserve the right to give you a big fat, "I told you so," later on after your own Yelp review. read more

I had a car accident in early November 2022. I've used this site before but never ever again. This time I was talked to as if I was 4 years old. There's someone there who wants to up charge you for everything. They worked on my anxiety and sold me the added protection of 20 per day on my card even though I have FULL coverage on my insurance. My bill came out to 2700 and they didn't even bat an eye. Prior to my return of a Kia I called and spoke to someone in their call center. I discussed the 20/per day added fee and they stated that they will take it off the bill. Well low and behold they didn't and when I returned the car I had some young lady who was too busy flirting with anything that walked in told me it was my fault since I should have known that their call center never gets anything right. I had no choice but to extend the rental for one more week. When I returned it the "manager" Jamie told me that due to the dog hair in my car he would have to charge me 250 fee to vacuum the car because his guys don't have the tools or I can get the car washed and have them try to get it out. Well 6 minutes and 2 dollars later it was done. These people wants to charge what ever they want and they think this is customer service. It's always someone else fault and they never know what's going on. NEVER EVER will I use this company or this site. And trust me I have folks coming i for the holidays and I will recommend anyone but Enterprise. They suck. read more

I was sent here by the local Hyuandai dealership while my vehicle was getting a warranty repair. They gave me a filthy car with paint scratches. The agent seemed unempathetic, but gave me another car after a call from the Hyuandai dealership. This was after waiting for 30 minutes. Then I had to wait longer. I was at Enterprise for an hour for a 1 day rental. Two other customers complained about the cleanliness of the cars in the time I was there. One customer brought out a half full Snapple bottle and asked the worker to report it. As soon as she left he returned to what he was doing without reporting the incident. I wanted to rent a car for a few weeks so I put a car on hold a Derick told me I needed to put down a $200 security deposit.. so with the deposit I didn't have enough on my credit card, so I told Him I'd just rent the car for a week instead of a few.. he told me he didn't feel comfortable giving me a rental car knowing that originally I wanted it for a month so he pretty much made me feel like I was worthless while 4 other people were waiting for their cars they rented for a few days.. my car was in the shop and I was carless and needed to rent that day, he totally ruined my day, he was rude and didn't have good customer service at all... the next day I went to hertz and they took care of me and were super nice.. I've tried this place twice. The only reason why is because they work directly with the body shop I use for my truck. The body shop I use is contracted with my insurance which is AAA. Ultimately, my insurance company has to pay for it, but I have to deal with them face to face and let me tell you they are dishonest and rude. They quote you a price verbally, then once you get all loaded into the vehicle and are ready to leave they put the paper contract in front of you to sign with a higher price. I challenged them on it and actually called their superiors and the flat out lied to them a well. If you use them, be very aware of their dishonest tactics. Be prepared for them to try and bait-and-switch; be prepared for them to switch employees on you four times in one visit. It's all about smoke-and-mirrors and trying to confuse you...don't let them. read more

I recently rented a car from this location. I had made an appointment the night before so I could avoid waiting in line. When I arrived, I learned that someone had made the appointment for the incorrect time. Instead of apologizing or at least accommodating me, "Zack" roughly told me that it sucks to be me and that I had to wait. When I asked how long the wait would be, "Zack" looked at me in the eye with an annoyed look and said, "It's just me up here" and stared at me until I realized that was his answer. This guy was a jerk. When I came back to return my car, there was a new manager in the office and he was awesome. He was multitasking, delegating, and talking to customers in a very helpful way. Because he was so great with me when I returned my car and that Zack apparently no longer worked there, I give this place 4 stars. read more

I didn't have as bad an experience as a lot of people have had. I needed a car for 4 days since my car's in Chicago and I'm visiting home for the holidays. I'm not 25, but there's apparently no underage driver fee at this location (score! normally it's something like $30-$40/day at the airport Enterprise RACs). They were busy as heck because of the holiday demand, but they seemed to manage it okay. They will try hard to sign you up for insurance/liability/etc. Don't let them. read more

My rental car experience was good. I called in advance to make sure they reserved a car that was not over $25 a day since this is what my insurance covered and I did not want to pay any out of pocket expense. They made sure I was within this budget. The reason why I did not give five stars was their customer service after I returned the car. I left a personal belonging in the trunk of my rental. However, by the time I realized it and called them, they had already rented the car. The person i spoke to was Andrew. He called the person who rented the car and told me that she would bring in my item. I returned the rental car on Friday, Oct. 4th. Since then, I called several times. At one point, I spoke with someone and told him the situation. Since I mentioned that Andrew was helping me get my item back, this person could not even check to see if the item was turned in nor was car returned. Long story short, it is now October, 14th and my item still has not been returned. I called in today and left a message for Andrew to call me back, but did not get a returned call. If the rental car was not returned, I completely understand that it is out of their control. However, customer service should be practiced even after the rental car is returned. This is the second or third time I was in a situation where my insurance was covering the cost for my rental and asked which rental place I wanted to use and i chose this particular Enterprise location. Next time, I will chose another. Note: If you ever forget anything in your rental, BEWARE, the employees are not as helpful once they've already gotten your business. read more

I've reserved from here a few times. Today, the lady was a bit rude. I reserved an economy car ahead of time via the internet. Didn't have my car. Tried to give me a bigger one & up charge me. I said I'll take it if they don't charge me any more & she gave me an huge attitudes & replied back, "No, you'll pay for the upgrade." Wow, where did that come from. I told her that I reserved a specific car plenty of days in advance & they should have it & if they don't, shouldn't charged for an upgrade. She abruptly stopped walking me to the cars & said, "Talk to my Manager." After a few minutes she came and said they have a car at the car wash & she'll take me there. Didn't ask if that was ok. On our way, Not a single word to me. Didn't give me any update or what we were going to do. When we got there she got out of the car, didn't ask me to come out anything. I got out & she gave me the keys & said there it is. I asked her if I was taking it from there or what? It was still an upgrade. I told her I thought they had the car I reserved at the wash. She said the manager told her to give me this one. I said whatever & took the car as I was already late. I wish I remembered to get name but she was a blonde with a chiseled face & acted like a high & mighty princess. My auto body shop puts me in a rental car here because the repairs are taking longer than expected on my car. Enterprise employee Kenny takes me to the car and reviews contract with me and asks me if I want to purchase additional coverage. I ask him if I will be charged for the additional coverage. Kenny asked me who is paying for the rental. I tell him it's my body shop who is paying for the account. Kenny then states, "if your body shop is picking up the bill then why not get the extra coverage, they're paying for it" I told him I did not want the extra coverage if I was going to get billed for it. He still suggested I get the extra coverage since it would not be on my bill so I did. After the car is returned I get a bill for $130 charged to my card. I called and talked to the manager and explained the situation. She tells me this sounds like a misunderstanding and that there is nothing that can be done except we can split the bill in half because of the miscommunication. So I am lied to and now I'm out $65?
