I had a reservation for a rental after dropping my car at the body shop for repair. They picked me up from the repair shop within about 5 minutes. The office is nice and it seems like they would have a huge selection. Unfortunately for me that morning, none of the cars had yet arrived, so I had to wait about 30 minutes before being put in a rental. It was a Monday morning, so it's possible things are busier that day, but just keep in mind that you may have to wait, even if you have a reservation already scheduled. read more

Today was an absolute GODSEND?? Coming home from my San Diego vacay I was pulling out of the parking garage of the hotel and accidentally, deeply dented, and scraped up the whole drivers side panel just forward of the door on a cement pillar!! I was completely devastated and tried my best not to break down and cry. But then I remembered how I, reluctantly, paid for the required daily insurance I had to have in order to rent the car! YAYYY!! Oh, but then how the sadness returned when I thought about how I just knew Enterprise was gonna slam me with a huge ass $500 or even $1000 deductible!!!! Nausea and vomit!!! Filled my throat with tears and anger!!! Once I got into my local, Phoenix, Enterprise, office I did the walk of shame and went in to tell them what I had done.! That's when Robert the manager said "Aren't you glad you purchased our insurance?" I looked up at him in disbelief thinking sure asshole now tell me how you're gonna rape my wallet! SURPRISINGLY he told me "now you won't have to pay a thing!" GET THE INSURANCE PEOPLE!! If I had used my own auto insurance plan I may have had to pay a $500 deductible! The Enterprise at the Phoenix airport is, without a doubt, the worst rental car company we have ever used-in any country or city. The line moved at a snail's pace, slower than any other rental. The people who were working at the checkout counter were indifferent, laughing and talking to one another. When they asked how we were, he said great before we even answered. read more

Inconsistent policies, employees who say they "care" and "definitely understand" in such a passive-aggressive way, not actually caring whatsoever, that it makes you see red. Something is always down or not working, app constantly boots you out and erases your information to be able to check in remotely, endless lines, car issues, you name it. If anyone is looking for a Car Rental Company that actually puts customers first , then I recommend Enterprise Car Rental in Phoenix Arizona . I give Selena the manager more than five . When I walked in the door it was very crowded and seem like she had no help coming from nowhere. But that didn't matter because she greeted each customer and told them to be patient as she would be with them as soon as she could. Selena is the type of manager that every business dreams of. She is definitely dedicated to customer service and making sure that she takes care of each and every customer. What I liked about her most is that she was a person of her word. I wasn't satisfied with the car that she gave me, but that's all they had and she told me just hold on until Monday and I will see what I can do. Monday afternoon she calls me and told me to come and pick up a larger car and I was so happy. She set the standard for any employee to emulate . I highly recommend this car rental agency . The guy that is working upfront is not a nice person. He gave my rental car away and trying to give me the smallest vehicle they have. My insurance company told them a van and they tried to give me a small car. He talked down to me with customers in store. Please don't come to this location. read more

Unorganized, slow, no sense of urgency whatsoever I always use enterprise, but I won't use this facility again

Giving this place a one star rating strictly for the fact they put a 250 dollar deposit on your credit card why deal with a hold when you can go 15 min up the street to Avis and not have a deposit. I used to rent from enterprise a lot from a different location that never charges a 250 dollar deposit it was .15 percent on top of the car rental. Unless Enterprise gets there act together and have a reasonable deposit system then they have lost a customer. Wow update Enterprise replied back to my review and asked me what they can do to help. Oh my goodness!! I usually rent from budget car rentals, and lately have been very disappointed in the cute games they play. But not Enterprise. They had the car, it wasn't pre-reserved or sold, it was in great working order, and the agent was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and showed exactly how big a bit of road damage needed to be to be addressed. Booked a small truck at 9am, my appointment was set for 2pm. I was told the vehicle was on the lot and would be ready for pickup. I rearranged my entire schedule, had my wife leave work early to take me to pickup. They called at 1:40 and said it was no longer available. Would give zero stars if it was an option. read more

Tyler at the Enterprise office in Cottonwood, AZ is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He does a good job considering the limits and corporate policies of Enterprise. That being said, I was rented a vehicle that had been heavily smoked in by the renter before me. I have asthma. The smell was so strong that it set off an asthma attack and I was down for a day because of it. I tried to get a different vehicle, but was told there were over a dozen people waiting for cars, so they couldn't change me out. This was a medical condition and should have been given a priority. The vehicle should never have been rented in the first place. I had the vehicle for 8 days and only put 30 miles on it because it made me so sick to drive. Although I found Tyler to be an asset to Enterprise, I feel my rental was an inexcusable epic fail. read more

We broke down in Globe and dealt with garages, towing companies, and Enterprise. All were fantastic! Miranda at Enterprise had 1 car available and brought it to us at the garage we were stranded at. When you reserve a vehicle at a specific time that is when you should expect to receive the vehicle. Had to wait additional 30 minutes in lobby while they completed an oil change? Complete disconnect between scheduling and servicing of vehicles. Avoid this location if you can. read more

Be aware if you leave anything in the car it will be stolen! Used a National car rental in Waikoloa Village and returned it at hotel, left my brand new shoes on drivers side, after weeks of getting the run around they were never "found". 100% left them in car and never found. The lost/found site was no help as there is no location for Waikoloa. Would not use again. read more

Worst rental experience ever. Start by standing in line like everywhere else. But this is just the first stop. You'll need to go to a completely different level in the building to get in a longer line (46 waiting in line). Slowest service ever... overly hyped "HELLO!!!" or completely disinterested customer service. Moved in slow motion. After waiting in that line for 40 minutes, we were slowly taken to a car. I mean slowly like someone was meandering unsure of where to go. We got in and the engine light came in saying needs oil change. The person waiting on us said "it will probably turn off after you start driving." We're driving to the Grand Canyon... not a place we need engine problems. We asked for another vehicle - because this one also smelled like smoke. Got in new vehicle. Warning light: your washer fluid needs refilling. We asked "do you have any?" The replay was a limp "it's so far away... I guess I could take the vehicle over there if you want." We got a third vehicle. When we asked how long it will take to return the vehicle at the end of our vacation we were told it usually takes about two hours. TWO HOURS!! To return a car. We came to see Arizona, not your basement car drop off site. We will NEVER rent from Enterprise again. Service was awful and time was wasted every step of the way. Worst business model ever for a car rental place. Whoever the management team is should seriously consider another line of work. Awful. And I'm being nice. read more

Best advice, make sure you are not involved in an accident because they do NOT work with you even when you buy their insurance. Enterprise - what happened?! I was scheduled to be picked up from the auto body at 8:15 am after dropping my car off at 8 am. 8:30 rolls around and still no pick up. The auto body shop even called at 8:20 am was on hold for over 20 min, to the point the auto shop just had someone take me and drop me off of Enterprise. I walk into the Enterprise and there's only 1 customer and he was just sitting there. I was helped immediately, and I even asked - do you guys not pick up the phone? The gentlemen that helped me was quick, but when he showed me to the red Hyundai Elantra - it was inexcusably disgusting. The car reeked and had stains all over the seat. Do you guys even clean the car prior to giving it to a customer? He noted that there was no car left for me to have because there's a shortage, but that's no excuse to not clean a car before giving it to a customer. If it wasn't for the fact I had to get to work and I wasn't working through my insurance company (it was the other party's liability) I seriously would have went somewhere else. Please clean the car and at least put an air freshener in before giving it to someone else. Thanks. read more

Very strange how I've received several emails from customer service since my last review of this place but still haven't heard anything from management! What's even more strange is that after reading other reviews there seems to be a pattern at this place of disregarding peoples reservations and then being rude and disrespectful about it. The worst first experience, I have ever had in a long time! I walked in there and they did not have any cars available for me with my chosen class! I asked to see if there was any other cars around and the girl at the counter said no, while the manager looked online! This shows that they were not on the same page! The manager Sebastian by the way who is new, was extremely rude to me on the phone. I called in to get a swap out for the vehicle he gave me for it was not of my taste. He started to say that I was being aggressive, being a customer I did not deserve this remark! The car he gave me was not cleaned out inside before extending it to me! Sebastian has terrible customer service skills, and should not be a manager. I was able to find another location where they did take care of me, but I would stay away from the 19th Ave. and Dunlap location, for they are terrible, and I will probably not be doing business with enterprise in the future. read more
