    The manager Gina was not interested in my backstory. She said she couldn't fix my rate when I know that's a lie. Hopefully this brings awareness to the corporate culture at enterprise.. You would think someone would be open to helping me but no just passed around like a hot potato & being price gauged along the way. Thanks ENTERPRISE! Supposedly corporate escalated the matter & sent me here. But with a higher rate.

    Book 2 cars, just in case they will tell you that the first car you reserve is not available or have an engine light on.

When I picked up the rental car, it was clearly not cleaned--as shown in the attached photo of the cupholder, which had dirt, crumbs, and even a piece of trash left behind. On top of that, the car had a bad smell that made the ride uncomfortable from the start. To make matters worse, when I returned the vehicle, I was told the gas tank wasn't full, even though I had filled it completely just before drop-off. I was forced to drive back to the gas station, waste more time, and take a video of the pump clicking off to prove the tank wouldn't accept more fuel. Absolutely ridiculous. Between the poor cleanliness and the unnecessary hassle with the gas, this was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. I expected more from Avis.

The car is not always clean, sanitized or smelling great. It's a hit or miss! The SUV's are the best and usually brand new with very low miles. The midsize cars are a bit older. I love that they have a bigger selection of cars compared to other locations. They have the Tesla. Unfortunately the one I got smelled like smoke, no floor mats and not well maintained. I hate to say this but I blame the previous customers for the scratches etc. Tesla Model 3 short range: a full tank cost about $20 to charge total. Tesla superchargers take about 30min to fully charge. All electric cars you must return with 70% minimum. The charging cost comes out of the DEPOSIT. Honestly, I feel if you want Avis to carry good spotless cars then customers need to take responsibility as well my opinion. NO SMOKING (obviously), however if you choose to smoke in your rental please leave a couple of cherry car fresheners inside the car and leave windows open. The staff are accommodating when you come in at the right time. Like I said it's a hit or miss! They do have a drop-off window of 29 minutes max. There's an extra charge if it goes over. As a courtesy, I usually call in to let them know if I'm running late. It's a busy location since it's the only Avis in Corona. Avis in Chino barely has any cars. Enterprise rental also has a very small selection. There is a $12 charge to extend. The daily rates changes if you wait til the last minute. Extend right away if you can. All billing issues need to be addressed with the 1-800 customer service line. They will NOT resolve any billing issues over the counter. I can't stress enough to CYA!! When picking up, address any damages with the staff before driving off. Let them know! TAKE PICS of every single thing that looks like a scratch or dent (inside & out). If the car smells funky let them know before driving off the lot. It literally takes a minute to take pictures. When dropping off, fill up the tank (take a pic of the gas gauge, return it clean (inside at least) and drop it off on time. I definitely recommend!!

A few weeks ago, I reserved a Toyota Camry, but when I arrived, they did not have the vehicle I had reserved. The car we were given was a hybrid, but the battery was dead when I got in it. The vehicle was also dirty inside. They initially tried to give me a smaller car, which was not what I wanted. To their credit, they eventually provided a complimentary upgrade to an SUV, which I appreciated. The bigger issue occurred when it was time to return the vehicle. I arrived on the scheduled return date, but the office was completely closed. The doors were locked, there was no sign posted, and no one answered when I knocked. I contacted corporate, and they instructed me to take a photo of the vehicle in front of the building to document that I was there on time and email it to them, which I did. When I returned early the next morning, the staff member I spoke with, Noori, was very rude and unwilling to listen to my explanation. I was told I would be charged additional fees, including a late fee and a fuel charge. I explained that I had attempted to return the vehicle on time, but the office was closed and unattended. Despite providing the details of what happened, I was repeatedly told that the location was open, that they do not make mistakes, and that there would have been a sign on the door. My original charge was supposed to be around $130, but after the additional fees it increased to approximately $330. Corporate has only agreed to refund $100, even though the situation was caused by the office being unavailable when I arrived to return the vehicle. While I appreciated the complimentary SUV upgrade, the poor customer service, lack of accountability, and unexpected charges left me very dissatisfied with my overall experience.

    Amazing customer service and employees at this spot…read more Came to rent a 15 passenger van this morning at 8. No problems and out the door in 15mins. Drove it to Norco, back passenger door was making ungodly noises that had this mama concerned for the safety of her kids in the back, so I called over and the female rep (only person I did not catch the name of the-sorry!) was super nice and efficient, told me to bring it back no problem. I get back and she has me on the list for an exchange, no questions asked by any of the staff, just a simple "we want you to feel comfortable and safe in our cars". Love this. While I was waiting for the exchanged van I was able to witness an exchange between Lawerence and an older lady over a pair of missing shoes she had left in a rental some time ago. Lawerence was so nice and patient with the lady (mind you I'm just listening to the whole exchange and wanting to bang my head against a wall). The lady wasn't mean or anything, but she just repetitive, not comprehending what was being said, etc etc during what was approximately a 15 minute exchange.... So my Ford was exchanged for a Mercedes-Benz van... It looked so nice and I felt it was for sure an upgrade *but* I actually turned it down due to it being a diesel and with fuel prices being what they are/the duration and distance I would be driving it. Again staff member Chris, being so patient and so nice, did not make any problem finding me another Ford passenger transit van even though they had to clean/process one that was not quite ready. Seriously I was feeling like such a problem customer myself at this point but they were all smiles. New van feels safe, clean, and I'm confident in driving it around.

    Enterprise put my wife and me in serious danger twice and then brushed it off with a $100 credit…read more On August 13 while my car was in the body shop, I rented a Tesla Model Y from the Riverside Enterprise. The manager admitted the only Tesla available had tire issues but reassured me after checking with another branch that this one was good to go. After waiting over 45 minutes the car finally arrived. Within days I discovered the car was leaking air so badly that I had to constantly refill the tires just to keep driving it. On August 16 I called to report the issue. The same manager told me not to worry and said he had a brand new Model Y with no problems. I swapped cars, only to have this so called safe vehicle malfunction almost immediately after leaving the lot. While driving home on the freeway, the car suddenly went haywire. The emergency blinkers came on by themselves, loud alarms blared nonstop, multiple error messages flashed across the screen, and then the accelerator pedal went limp. I had no choice but to coast onto the shoulder of a busy freeway where my wife and I were stranded for nearly two hours as cars sped past. When I called the manager during this emergency, instead of offering real help he transferred me to roadside assistance. After the tow truck arrived I was instructed to follow the car back, but because the Riverside location had closed I was sent to the Ontario Airport branch. There, management told me they had negative inventory and acted like they could not provide a replacement. After another hour and a half of waiting I finally left with a vehicle that was a clear downgrade from what I had paid for. When my wife returned that car the Riverside manager offered nothing more than $100 off the booking and promised to follow up with me personally. No call ever came. No real apology. No accountability. Enterprise gave me not one but two unsafe vehicles within three days, knowingly put us at risk on a busy freeway, wasted hours of our time, and then treated the entire ordeal like a minor inconvenience. Customers deserve safe cars and responsible management. We got neither.
