I had a very frustrating experience with the Sunnyvale location where my reservation was unexpectedly canceled, but things completely turned around thanks to Erin at the San Jose location. Erin went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. What really stood out was the time and attention she gave to walking me through the car. I've rented plenty of vehicles before, but no one has ever taken the time to thoroughly explain all the features and how everything works the way she did. It made a huge difference, especially when getting used to a new car can feel confusing. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. My car needed some repairs and I have the insurance that gets me a rental car during the process. Enterprise picked me up within a few mins of the garage calling, the driver was lovely to chat to and though there were lots of people waiting to check in for rentals I saw lots of staff jump in to make the process short. So I wouldn't be kept waiting long the staff member who drove me there, Gabriel, jumped in and cleaned a car for me so I could be on my way. What I budgeted 3 hours for (car drop off and rental pick up) only took 45 mins at most because of everyone's diligence, attitude and respect for the customer. While my car was being fixed at Xcel Collision center I received a car rental from Enterprise. The original booking made for us from insurance was at a different office but we ended up here somehow from the driver drop off service. They were able to pull up our reservation quickly and even provide us with an upgraded car because of availability. The workers were so friendly and helpful and I most enjoyed the speedy service. I received phone calls and texts when it came to coordinating our rental which made it very easy and convenient. They also picked up the phone when returning calls. Even when we had issues with insurance discontinuing our rental, I was able to continue our booking at the same discounted rate for a few more days. This was the best service I've received ever from a car rental company. Note: someone from corporate please gift your workers some jackets! The AC is freezing in there lol. read more

I was picked up by the company from the car shop since my car needed to be fixed. When I arrived I was helped by Marcos. He was pretty awesome, what he could arrange for me was a van. Which was pretty funny because that was a larger vehicle than necessary, it was stated that it was the only one available at the moment & that I can easily swap it out the next day. The following day I spoke with the front desk, I can't remember her name but she was helpful & knew the situation right away. It was nice interacting with her because it felt like she cared. When I swapped the cars out, the process was really fast & went smoothly. Kept the car for about 5 days with zero issues. Then returning of the vehicle happened to be on my birthday & I also had a cake in my hands with my name They all said happy birthday which they didn't have to but it was very sweet that they did. 10/10 coming back 10/10 recommend read more

I am not happy with the experience I had at this location. I had a reservation at 12p and arrived around 12:40p and had to wait because the car I reserved needed an "oil change" so the staff member told me there were going to have another car get dropped off from the airport enterprise still had to wait another hour until I finally get the car. When I did the walk around w/ the staff member there was a maintenance message on the message board. She told me not to worry about that since they're on top of the maintenance. I drove home 4 miles away with the rental and the back tire is completely flat. I called the enterprise letting them know what happen and wanted to talk to the manager and was on hold for 30 mins I hung up and called the truck rental next door because there weren't picking up the calls. I had to call road side and finally got the car picked up from my house. That happened on Friday and I expected a full refund. I called yesterday to get an update on the refund and the manger left for the day. It is now Tuesday and barely heard back from the manger saying my refund has been processed. Easy 5 out of 5 This is probably THE BEST car rental location I've evet gone to. Their team goes out and beyond to make sure that you feel welcome. Leo and the rest of the team greet you as soon as you park (haven't even walked in the office). I've used a couple of car rentals in the area and in LA. Nothing compares. I've had to take my car to the nearby Service King for repair, and I needed a car for work. I originally reserved a compact car for 6 days, but I figured that I didn't need it for that long. They were happy to receive the car back in 3 days and refunded the other 3 days. I have also left an item, and they quickly gave me a call to let me know that they'll keep it until the time I return to pick it up. I just love their cuatomer service! This is THE BEST Enterprise service I have had throughout the country. So, I use Enterprise a lot when I travel, and the service has always been okay. The people have always been a little on the curt side, and they have been a little impatient, but this Enterprise has one of the best services and accomodations. When I got into my hit and run and needed to rent a car, they picked me up from my car repair shop, and they had me on the road in no time. At first, they had no sedans, but I contacted them and they put my name to reserve one right away. I just want to give a shout out to Edwin Nol because he was very accomodating and made the process very easy. If I ever needed to rent a car in San Jose, I would definitely rent a car at this place. This is the best Enterprise Rent-A-Car service that I have ever had! They are exceptionally nice! First off, warm greetings from everyone in the office. They even make small conversation with you while punching in their computer. They really try to make your experience as pleasant as possible. The only person I remember his name Trent, super awesome guy, let me pick which car I want. Did a walk through inspection of the exterior, we look at the gas tank as well. I have rented from Enterprise for a long time and there are some very frustrating things about this location. 1) No key drop. I wanted to move my flight to a Sunday evening (up a day - I would have eaten the cost of the extra day and didn't expect them to refund me) and was unable to do so because they don't have a key drop box. How can a rental car company be closed on a Sunday anyway? I was really surprised. 2) The service is OK but if you call with concerns about your rental vehicle, there are no solutions to be had. I looked at three cars on the lot and all had weird issues going on. I chose the cheapest option (and avoided an up-charge - this is my first experience where I was going to be charged for a nicer vehicle because they had so few options). The car I ended up taking made so much noise and the gears were grinding terribly. When I called to explain my concern, I was told "Cars make noise at higher speeds", though I explained the car made noise in park. The friends I picked up were so concerned that we took another family vehicle for the majority of our plans, making the decision to rent here basically a complete wash. It just feels like safety should be a much bigger priority. Renting for three days cost as much as a monthly car payment and compared to my other experiences, this location has a lot of room for improvement. I'd caution other renters to check the car closely and let it run before heading off the lot. read more

They are claiming I put a dent on the car that I did not. Either this is a common practice at enterprise or the clerk didnt look well enough and is now putting it on me. Lousy customer service, terrible attitude. Go anywhere but here. I went to them for a rental while my vehicle was in the shop after an accident. The standard method in that situation is to bill the insurance company, but these people insisted on billing my credit card. Only after I had racked up $2000 in rentals, and complained to the insurer, did they switch the billing to the insurance company. And at that I had to contact them TWICE before they refunded my money. I dropped the car off on a Saturday, and discovered only then that they close at noon on Saturday. Nevertheless I managed to speak with an employee, who told me to just drop the key in their deposit box and they would take care of it. I did that, knowing that the employee knew the car was there, and that it would be back in their physical possession in a matter of minutes. So today, I got a notification that they had billed me nearly $150 for another two days of rental -- AFTER I gave them the car and they knowingly took possession of it through their employee. I protested this, and their attitude can be summarized as "We already have your money. Talk to the insurance company if you don't like it." These people are thieves. Don't deal with them if you have any alternative. read more

I setup a reservation with this location under my name. My dad was flying in the day before my family and I were supposed to for my cousins wedding. He gets there and the gentlemen tells him sorry he can't give him a vehicle because he can only pay for it with a credit card l, which my dad doesn't have. The kicker of why I was and am so upset is because I called this location ahead of time and days before, and I asked what does my father need?? Can we switch it to his name, debit card? Credit card?? And the gentlemen I spoke with said yes to all?? But this rep sounded like he had to help another client. I should've known from that. I trusted the information this rep told me and my father ended up wasting a $40 trip there from the airport and then back to the airport because they couldn't and wouldn't assist him becaUse he wasn't from there and didn't have a credit card. I get there are different policy's per state but it wasn't told to me that he couldn't use a debit card. I was told he could use it!!!!! A group of my friends and I were planning a snowtrip to Tahoe and needed a large car to fit 7 of us! I've never been to this Enterprise location before, but we got taken care of by Cole, and he was so helpful and such a pleasant person to work with! We didn't need to wait too long to get our car and it was a pretty easy process. I've rented cars with other companies in the past but I think it really matters more who you talk to, so I'm glad Cole was very accommodating and making sure we got everything we needed for our trip. We rented a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe with him and it was probably the most tech car I've been in (lol). I've never driven a Chevrolet car before, so Cole took the time to show us all the features of this car like the USB ports, bluetooth feature, 4-wheel drive etc. That was very nice of him! As for the car, it was very spacious for 7 people, and there was sufficient trunk space for our snowboards, snow gear and backpacks. It drove very smoothly on the road, and since it was not snowing during our trip, I can't say much about how it is in heavy snow/ice. Overall, great experience & will definitely try and get served by Cole again if I rent a car at this location! read more

Usually, my experience with Enterprise is 5/5. This location must be an anomaly, because it doesn't live up to the Enterprise name. I've had substantial issues with my last 2 reservations at this location: 1) They gave my reserved car away prior to my arrival, and gave me the option to choose a different class of car than what I'd reserved, or to pay and upgrade. The alternate class wouldn't work for me, so I opted to just give them a pass on this one, pay out of pocket, and upgrade. Unfortunately, the car I upgraded to only had 1/4 tank of gas in it, so I had to fill it up before I could even use it. Not a great experience, but I understand that car rental places get busy, and this is a smaller location, so they can't hold as many cars onsite. They also said I could bring in my next rental with only 1/4 tank of gas in it, so I initially gave them a pass on this one. 2) Fast forward to my next rental, which I brought back with 1/4 tank of gas as agreed upon. To my surprise, they said the system wouldn't allow them to comp my gas, and I ended up having to pay to fill the tank at their rate of $5.88/gal! Enterprise overall is a 5/5 company, but rent from this location at your own risk. read more
