Stop by this new place in the mall. I got the sticky mango matcha. It was pretty solid as the mangos blended perfectly with the matcha.

Lovely place and fantastic coffee. Got their pistachio latte and loved it. Was concerned about it being too sweet but the barista helped me modify the syrup concentration perfectly. Quick service too

I tried their original matcha latte. The staff explained they use ceremonial matcha with no added sugar. The signature matcha would have milk foam on top. My matcha tasted fine, but could be a little stronger. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would come back and try another drink next time.

Staff and the selection here is amazing! Favorite things to grab from here when I visit the oaks is the almond croissant, macarons and any matcha or coffee. Can't go wrong with anything you get from here. Definitely recommend

Delicious options! Everything is bound to be a hit! I have gotten the Banana latte and the Mango Matcha. I will likely stick with matcha moving forward. Regardless, the ambiance is cute and welcoming and the staff are friendly. A staff member named Safire (I hope that's correct) even went above and beyond to assist my friend with her drink.

Love this place! Itala Magdalena Coffee has such a fun and unique menu. I tried the Saffron Latte and it was amazing--smooth, slightly floral, and the golden foam on top made it feel super special. The Dubai mocha with pistachio cold foam is also a must-try if you like something rich and nutty. The vibes here are cozy, and the staff are really friendly and helpful with recommendations. You can tell they care about quality--they use Verve beans, and every drink tastes fresh and well made. If you're tired of the usual coffee shop drinks, this is the perfect spot to try something different. Definitely coming back!

Tried it out while at the mall and loved it! I got the honey bloom latte and my mom got the banana cloud latte, both were delicious. The menu has so many fun, creative options, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Strawberry matcha latte and strawberry croissant. Delicious!

I got a few pastries, a chocolate bar and a strawberry matcha latte (matcha whisked by hand!). Everything was delicious and the person who helped me was so friendly and kind. I'll definitely come here again. Make sure to check them out, they also have seats and tables you can sit at. I took my items to go but maybe next time I'll take some time to sit there and enjoy.

First thing that hit me was the glorious aroma of delicious coffee from a hundred yards down the mall. Then we saw it. Such a great introduction. Amazing and delicious coffee. Piper is the sweetest! She has a beautiful smile, is so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We'll be back!

So beautiful and exotic cafe, the drink is so tasty and so multi layer flavors. I just found I love it and will come back next time!

Iced caramel latte with rose foam (AMAZING)

This place is absolutely wonderful!!! Great selection of fresh pastries, and the coffee is AMAZING! The manager who was working the counter today was SO kind and gave the best recommendations, and custom made the latte I ordered with a recommended combination of flavors I hadn't thought to try before and it was fantastic! Genuinely one of the best lattes I have ever had. He also recommended the "crookie" (croissant and cookie hybrid) and it was AMAZING! This was a hidden gem I'd never tried at the oaks mall before, but I'll definitely be coming back! Great food, great service, and an amazing atmosphere!

Good coffee and pastries. Personal pleasant unhurried staff. Locally owned and operated. The money says local and it is not Starbucks.

The space itself is chic and impossibly cute, a mini cafe that feels like a hidden boutique find, quaint in all the right ways. The croissants are the genuine article: buttery, flaky layers with that perfect golden exterior that only comes from someone who truly knows what they're doing. Every pastry here is crafted with care and it shows in every bite. And the mocha coffee? That alone is worth the trip. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, it pairs beautifully with anything in the pastry case. The staff are warm and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. One thing to keep in mind: this is not a drive-through. It's a small owner-operated cafe where everything is made with intention. Come with time to spare, settle in, and let the experience unfold. Good things take time, and here that philosophy is baked right into everything they do. Yes, prices lean a bit higher than your average coffee shop, but this is quality you can taste. You're paying for authentic French technique that honors the tradition. La Princière is a Thousand Oaks treasure worth every unhurried minute.

I really hate to do this but our experience was really disappointing…read more I was looking around for local bake shops & bakers, other than the popular Bundt or Arleens, because we wanted something special for my friends birthday. I found Cake and Love, saw the reviews and thought "why not?" I love supporting local small businesses. I knew the designs weren't up to par compared to other places, however I read that the cakes tasted really good. My friend Marc ordered them and requested 4 cupcakes but the owner said she could only do a dozen. The design requested for the cupcakes was to write the name on 4 and the rest with birthday + Halloween designs. And he ordered four different flavors. She had a week to prepare and offered to drop them off. Not only was she an hour late, but she practically rushed off without giving us a chance to look at the cupcakes to check them. You can only imagine our disappointment when we opened the box. It looked absolutely terrible, rushed and as if a child decorated these. These cupcakes were for an adult. The taste was just ok too. The chocolate cakes were mushy, the red velvet were dry and the other two were 'eh.' It was too late to find something else so we sucked it up and used them to sing happy birthday anyway. Regardless if there was any mis-communication, this is not acceptable. And I feel that we deserve a refund.

Drove all the way from Burbank just to check out Carrara's Pastry Shop in Agoura Hills--and wow,…read morethey absolutely did not disappoint. It's a small, charming café with a cozy atmosphere, featuring old-school car collectibles displayed on a shelf that add a unique touch. They also offer outdoor seating where you can enjoy your desserts surrounded by lush greenery, natural foliage, and a peaceful little waterfall pond. The service was great as well, they were friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. suggested I definitely I ended up picking up a chocolate and hazelnut cake with an incredibly soft, spongy interior that was perfectly balanced and rich without being overwhelming. I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

We were greeted right away, and we let one of the people working there know we wanted to take a look around as it was our first time stopping in, which was okay. The shop itself was empty. We took a look at the ice cream selection, the full cakes, and then the pastries. Everything looked really good. We decided on a chocolate trilogia pastry and a red velvet pastry to go. The transaction went well. When we got home, we ate the goodies. The trilogia was fresh and had great flavor. The red velvet, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. The cake part was dry, and the frosting was dense and had little flavor. Maybe I just ended up getting an older one, but at $8.25, I had expected a much better item. The service was great, but as a red velvet lover, the flavor was not as expected. I would potentially try again but would sample some other treats.

They have done a really good job with the patio and I could see that getting really busy, it wasn't the day we were there as it was a colder day. I ordered the avocado toast that came with a couple of poached eggs and the side I got was a cup of barley soup, my wife ordered the french toast with a side of bacon . The quality of the food was excellent in both cases, tasted good although I felt my food was on the colder side for sure when we finally got it and it was very plain; food took a while considering they weren't that busy. The service was good but not excellent, our waiter came back to check on us once when I thought maybe I caught his eye . I think there's definitely some room for improvement but it won't hold me from coming back... I will definitely give it another try; footnote- a lot of their ingredients are organic and of what I understand they bake all of their bread and pastry items in house. definitely worth a try.
