Taree is always friendly and knowledgable, and handles my requests quickly. Jim is the tech who is also friendly and knowledgable. I've learned quite a bit from talking to him and he's always on time. I have monthly service for rats and roaches, and have never had a problem with rats or mice. Roaches took a while because it was a bad infestation of a vacant unit in a 5-condo structure with a common attic space, plus the whole complex is bad as it's not uncommon to see roaches outside. My service was performed with Jim and I was very pleased with his work & knowledge. A few days prior I started to hear noises coming from the attic. I called a few pest control services and either they weren't available same day inspection or their pricing was out of range from my budget. I was happy to hear they were able to come out same day as I felt it was a priority. By far they were the most competitive in pricing. Unbelievable! You call them for a "FREE" termite inspection and they don't see termites. There was some other flying insect that my previous termite inspector said were swarming termites. So the "FREE" termite inspection becomes and $85.00 charge!!! Are you kidding me??? I called and asked and they said "We didn't find termites and we had to send a technician out". Hello? That's what a free termite inspection is...supposed to be FREE! I had photos that they said they couldn't identify, however, when the technician was onsite he easily identified them by the photo I texted him. Lies lead to more lies with this company. Go somewhere else or be prepared to get suckered on the back end. Oh yeah, they just bought Mighty Bug, who was an honest company and may be why there were some good reviews in the past. Having been referred to Enviro-Care by an HVAC contractor, the owner Ed came out the next day. He and Steve were friendly, professional, knowledgeable. He inspected the entire property and outlined a multi-faceted plan which we approved. Immediately they put bait stations and snap traps, and in 2 days will be here to seal up the various entry points which the rodents are using to gain entrance. Then after we are sure there are no living ones left in the attic, they will return to clean up the attic including the contaminated insulation. Prices so far are reasonable for pest control, I recommend anyone (Commercial or Residential) in the Orange County area to give them a call if you are having pest problems. read more

My husband and I built our 21-yr old Irvine home and I'm the former President and current Vice President of our HOA. We knew tenting was the best option to rid us of termites but we weren't going to fumigate until we found a reliable, helpful and trustworthy company. For us, it was very important to confidently tell our neighbors that we had a good company. I had several companies advise me on the severity of the termites and on our treatment options and some seemed very good. But Enviro-care was exceptional. They were personal and caring. Bret, truly, understood my worries and dispelled my concerns with honesty and compassion. I knew I had a great company to care for my home and a company I could recommend to my neighbors. Taree, who manages the office, answered every call with no wait and was there for me every step of the way. She was unflappable and always supportive and sunny. Our tenting happened to fall during one of the worst thunderstorms of the year (first week of December). Despite all the extra stress Taree and Bret had that day, they handled me and my house perfectly. Despite the added difficulty and demands placed on the fumigation crew during that extreme storm, not one tile on my very high and curved roof was cracked or broken. This team won't let you down. Not only did they come when they said they would which helped us get out and on with our day but they came early in the morning on the day the tent was removed which helped us get out of the hotel in a timely manner. I had a bed bug issue I tried to deal with on my own but was unable to do so no matter how hard I treated and cleaned. Then I had a lot of issues trying to find a pest control company that would return my call, actually follow-up after an initial call and/or was reasonably priced! I used Enviro-Care for some termite and dry rot wood repair. I feel I need to alert future customers about their repair technique. After the inspection was completed, the report that they wrote recommended all wood with termite damage be repaired or replaced. The report also said all wood with dry rot should be replaced. I was charged over 1400.00 to have some facia board replaced as well as some stringers. The repair guy did replace my damaged facia board but tried to repair the rest of the wood damage with bondo. I saw he was applying bondo everywhere there was dry rot which was not the recommended method in the inspection report. I told the repair guy I was not going to pay over 1400.00 for 150.00 worth of facia board and the rest bondo. I had to call the office and explain to them that this was unacceptable and felt like I was getting ripped off. They tried to tell me that bondo was an improved method to do the repair. I told them I was getting extremely over charged to have them use a 10.00 can of bondo on my house. I did not give in and they finally did make the repairs that reflect what was agreed on to begin with. I did speak to the owner after it was completed. I felt he should have been the one to call me but I called him. I told him the repairs look great but was disappointed in his company trying to gouge me for a short cut repair. There was no apology or explanation but just that he was happy to hear I was satisfied with the final job. What I get from this is that this is how they do business and keep their profits up. I called four rodent control companies. Three showed up. Two wrote wildly exaggerated estimates which I thought credible because they were within a few hundred dollars of each other. I am a Realtor and had no previous experience with Enviro-Care Pest & Termite Control. I was told that they were the company that did most of the treatments and preventive maintenance at this particular Condominium Complex where I had a listing which had gone into escrow. So I gave them a call and Brett was scheduled to come out and do the inspection. He was to call me when he was on his way and right on schedule, when the day and time came, I got the call. The buyer was an enlisted man in our US Navy who got his orders to deploy while we were in escrow. This moved the timetables up quite a bit and everything became a bit chaotic. I called upon Enviro-Care Pest & Termite Control to go above and beyond to get the clearance done so the buyer could sign loan docs before he left for deployment. There was still work to be done in the 11th hour. Vince was scheduled to do the treatment and again, he called me on time and was there as promised. I called the office and spoke to Ed and explained the situation to him. He told me he would check on things and would call me back. Right on schedule as promised, I got the call. Not only did I get the call but a promise that I would have the clearance within the hour. This entire scenario could not have been possible without Taree in their office, directing traffic and fielding my phone calls. She was always willing to talk with me and return my calls.
