During this turbulent time of Covid 19, this place is a bright spot. I ordered the Eons chicken wrap it had grilled chicken, feta, tzadziki, fresh greens, pita wrap, all fresh ingredients. It was amazing and delicious it almost made me feel normal except I had to in my car instead of in the restaurant. Yes its fast food Greek but the fresh ingredients they use are high quality. I am very pleased with Eons, the food and the staff. They're always friendly and very helpful. (Especially during this pandemic. They would even walk my order out to the front door- so kind!) The food is delicious, healthy, fresh and there's lots of options to choose from. It's not pretentious but down to earth. Very approachable. My husband and I are selective about eating out but we both agree on this spot. In fact it's the only spot we grab dinner to go from. We love to create our own bowls using a base of salad greens, lamb or chicken, with a combination of either hummus, beet salad, gigantes, lemon potatoes, the veggie of the day, tzatziki or some other salad. This place is phenomenal. The food is fresh and delicious. The pricing is totally reasonable. You get your food fast, but this is far from a "fast food" establishment. The employees are always friendly and accommodating - other than the one day I was walking out the door with my hands full and a kid that worked there was too busy with his face in his phone and let the door slam on me. This place has really great food. With a similar price range and setup as Chipotle, you will never leave this place hungry, or dissatisfied. The employees never rush putting your bowl together and I've never ran into a rude cashier. On a road trip to go camping and stopped here to get some food to-go. Woah, it's sooooo good. I was incredibly surprised. The bowls are completely customizable from the protein to the sides to the sauce. Really vegetarian friendly and a great healthy option to traditional fast food. Seems any quality control kinks from opening has been worked out. I get three meals a week from here and the food is consistent and flavorful. This place is great for my lifestyle as I go to the gym over several times a week and use this as a good post workout meal - brown rice, grilled chicken, broccoli, and beans. It's even enough food to bring home for a second meal so it gets a check in the value department (that depends on how hard my workout was though lol). I just cannot rave enough about this restaurants concept and how we need more fast casual restaurants like this. It was ok. The Gyro meet is that thin stuff that's in frozen sheets, and not the better hand carved meat. Also, a good Gyro place will fry the Gyro meat to make the flavor really come out. Very excited to try someplace new I went in here. Not knowing what to get. I got some steak and pita dish with lemon potatoes and it was absolutely delicious!! The staff was friendly and answered questions well. My only peeve was the way the tables are arranged. Long rows of tables so you don't really have too much privacy if you want to have a conversation with a friend while having lunch or dinner. After being a frequent customer of the Paramus location, one would expect the same quality of food in the Montvale Eons. My husband ordered a bowl with steak and there were multiple pieces of fat in his bowl. The steak itself was not flavorful. The overall set up also feels cramped in comparison. I have dinned at eons several times. The food has always been pretty good. I was there on Saturday about 1 pm and there was one young girl (I would say about 18) preparing the food all alone and one person running the register. The two employees were working hard. The line was long and the girl was working as hard as she could. Another employee who I think must have been a manager (had a different color shirt on than other 2 employees ) finally strolls in with Starbucks coffee. I am not in the restaurant business but 1 pm on a Saturday afternoon would seem like a prime time for business. I felt disrespected as a customer because my time meant nothing to the manager. I love Eons, everything is delicious and I have yet to have a bad meal. The falafel is baked, not fried, so it's much healthier. I usually get a pita bowl with brown rice, falafel, lentil salad (amazing) and chick pea salad with tzadziki and a spicy mango sauce. The lemony potatoes are a yummy side to share. I've had the shrimp as well and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. My friend usually gets the salmon with beet salad and raves about it. The house brewed iced teas are a nice addition. I had my first visit to this establishment while visiting family in NJ. Love, love, love this place. My friend took me here for our post-workout dinner. The variety of food was amazing - to put it in perspective: I had a whole wheat pita with grilled chicken and feta and veggies, etc; my friend had octopus with veggies and a bunch of other stuff. Two different ends of the spectrum. The serving size was massive, in a good way. I was also introduced to something called garlic almond better, where have you been all my life. There are salads, sandwiches, and a ton of other choices. Also, the service was wonderful. The staff couldn't have been nicer and guided me through my first purchase along the bar of food. My girls and I go to EONS at least 3x a week. I never thought I would find Greek food as delicious as Eons. It's a quaint place, beautifully decorated and incredibly clean, located at the Shoppes at Depiero Farms. The food here is excellent and the portions are quite generous. It's amazing for both lunch or dinner. Given the quality and location of this restaurant, I think the prices are fantastic. I am a regular at the route 17 location. I happened to be in Montvale and decided to pop in to the new location to pick up a salad. I have to say that I am HUGELY disappointed and actually surprised by the difference in not only the quality put the portion size. My salad was probably 50% smaller than the o e I get on route 17 and the Salmon was so horribly dry the it was hard to swallow. The lettuce was scant and the toppings sparse. I just finished my salad and still feel hungry. Honestly, if I had tried this location first I would never had visited Eons again. I have never experienced a fast food restaurant as unprepared as Eons. When I entered the restaurant there was no one to greet me at the line for around five minutes. When they finally got to me, the service was extremely poor. The server was as rude as can be and wasn't able to explain how the process of the restaurant worked as I was a first time customer. When I finally finished my order, I expressed my discomfort and the cashier was very quick to blame me instead of the workers. Tried this tonight for the first time - got a bowl with brown rice, yeero meat, beet salad,'chickpea salad, and tzatziki. Also got the lemon soup with homemade pita chips. WOWWWWW - I was blown away by how fresh and tasty everything was! Huge portion and not expensive. I think the only downside is that it's small and not really a place I could see myself eating at since it's communal tables.
