There was a $10 cover for 21+ and a $20 cover for 18-20 which felt a little odd since the other 3 bars right there did not have cover charges but we paid it anyways. The bar itself was pretty dead since most of the crowd was not old enough to drink. The dance floor is pretty small so was VERY crowded but fun lighting and TVs playing music videos made it interesting. There was a nice, large, outdoor area to cool down too. The music was great at first but in the 45 mins or so that we danced, they replayed the same songs several times and cut all the songs short so every time the dance floor got excited for a song, it would cut off only 30 seconds in and change. The music also was drastically changing between hip hop and salsa which made the dance floor a little chaotic. We ended up leaving due to an older gentleman who was super intoxicated being a menace on the dance floor between being grabby and making suggestive movements with his mouth and hands. Security was made aware and they did watch him but he was allowed to remain on the dance floor so we ended up leaving. We did not get a drink there because we were not there long enough but it wasn't my favorite place of the night. I gave it 4 stars because the energy was great and there were a lot of people there but it was mostly the 18-20 crowd.

Lace Wrest never scored lower than 89% on her exams, so I trusted her vouchery of this place and hopped into my 4th car. This is the blue one. My next car will have a vanity plate with L A T O Y A as the word portion region item secular section (caption?), and here's to crossing our fingers that it's a Toyota so that it may be La Toya's Toyota. Perhaps I will take up yodeling whilst playing with a Yoda action figure so that it can be La Toya's Yodeling Toyota Toy Yoda. But I digress. Not one to be without noise in my auditory head holes, I popped on a CD of Harry Belafonte, wishing to broaden my musical horizons. I traversed the highways in a rare state of unaccompaniment; to those of you who follow my reviews, you are well aware that I am something of a ladies' man and am seldom seen without a lady on my arm. Around 7 PM, I arrived at Mango's. The atmosphere transported me back to my dark, troublesome youth in which I myself was a youth. The transportation occurred solely because of the time that Aunt Tesla Van Horne took the whole family to Kauai for pineapple daquiris and was enraged at the service, causing her to throw an absolute fit. I remember making the acquaintance of a fine young woman named Real. I was 15. At the door, a bouncer sized me up. He seemed deeply surprised to see I, something of a "hombre muy guapo," if you will, was riding solo. All the same, he permitted me entry. Promptly, I sauntered up to the bar and saw a woman sitting unaccompanied. "Pardon me, miss, but it may interest you to know that the gorgeous color of your dress is a possible color of hamster hair. On the subject, don't give your hamster caffeine or alcohol. May I also advise broadening your musical horizons with The Dead Milkmen? (here is where I pass her my business card) Dr. Marris Dare." She remained wordless. As a result, I suspect she was deaf. A male soon accompanied her and they appeared to be monogamously bonded to one another, so this could have been a factor as well. The bartender was a young man, perceivably answering to the name of Bart Tenner on account of several males referring to him as such. "Bart Tenner, pleasure to meet you. I am Dr. Marris Dare. May I trouble you for a Screwdriver Catalac Martini, salt on the rim? Moreover, I would like to request you point out any eligible females to me, for I am on the hunt for a woman to occupy my love life until I finally meet La Toya Jackson." Bart Tenner nodded, then shook his head with his back turned to me, and I perceived that a certain choice expletive passed through his lips. I felt my dignity was at stake on account of this heinous act of disgrace. "Sir, I'll have you know that I can recite all 60+ species of rats without looking at a reference, and I have had 13 lady dates in the past month. If you doubt me, the last date was Wella Wandend and I took her to the San Francisco Zoo on a lark. Rat species include palm rat, bulldog rat, ricefield rat, lesser bandicoot rat (my personal favorite), Merriam's kangaroo rat, nonsense rat. I could go on. I urge you to stop while you are ahead, you heinous scaffolding-born rookie." Bart Tenner gave me the drink and did not charge me for it. Soon I hit the dance floor and found myself in the company of absolute droves of single women. Consider this my paradise, if only it had droves of rodents to accompany such a scene. "Hey, baby, did you know that the dusky-footed woodrat is regarded as a semiterritorial herbivore?" "Hey, girl, did you know that Chinese hamsters have longer tails than other hamster breeds?" "Hey, lady, did you know that rabbits are lagomorphs, not rodents?" I acquired the cell phone numbers of at least seven new women (Opheline, Ace, Elli, Trank, Aquade, Deer, Vel) this fine evening, made out with three of them (Elli, Aquade, Vel), dedicated a karaoke cover of I Can't Get No Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones to one of them (Ace), bought drinks for all seven, gave one of them directions to a Port of Subs (Deer), and drove two of them home (Opheline, Trank). All and all, consider my paradise to have been a successful exploit. I expect to hear from all of them very soon. Attached is my rendering of the Rolling Stones crest in a midst of my drunken stupor.
