My family had a take-out from here today. We liked the beef pad sea-eiw, baby back ribs, pineapple fried rice, and curry puffs. It could've been better. Sadly, we were not fond of the duck dish. The meats in the dishes wee mediocre. You won't be disppointed with the baby back ribs. Is it worth the cost? I don't think so. read more

Love Erawan's food!! I've been coming here for many years and it never disappoints! The appetizers are delicious, one of my favorites is Jeeb Pu (crab dumplings) with the soy vanaigerette dip. The Chicken Satay and peanut sauce is another favorite of mine. The wait staff is very attentive and the management is welcoming. Nice atmosphere, good place for a date night. read more

I have been coming here for 20 years. Always a great meal and great service. This is by far the best Thai food I ever had and it is well worth the trip from Suffolk county to get here. This place is the best Thai place around the Bayside area in my opinion. Read some prior reviews and I think people are unreasonable sometimes. Theres no denying the food quality is good here and prices are in like with other Thai places everywhere, except the bad ones. Anyone see the costs of food recently? Tried the kae meo, fresh lobster and steak, all very good quality and priced very reasonably- you won't find a steak of this quality at this price at almost any other restaurant, I eat out alot. This is a go to spot, good people, good food. Love it read more

Erawan is my favorite place for pad kee mao. For me, they use the perfect amount of sauce. Most places use too much sauce for my liking with this dish. Nice size pieces of chicken ( I ordered it with sliced chicken, not ground). Drinks are always good. Definitely my favorite Thai place in queens. read more

I have been coming to Erawan once a week for three past 3-4 years. It's one of very few places I will order fish. The bronzino and snapper; which are on the menu are always good but they also get different fresh fish every week or so. I have tried monkfish, halibut, swordfish, tuna and blackfish here and they were all incredible. The sauces they use are amazing and go great with fish (peppercorn, Thai basil, garlic). Quality of food at Erawan has been consistent and is always delicious. I love the Thai rice pudding for dessert. read more

Came to Bayside to visit a friend for dinner. She is a regular here. Very nice interior, staff wearing masks. I had the green chicken curry and a side of garlic rice. The portions were large and delicious. The chicken was plentiful in the curry. I felt rushed by the server-trying to clear my plate when I wasn't done. It was getting busy for the Friday night rush-I get it but please don't rush me out. Also tried the vegetarian dumplings which were fine. It was pretty pricey for 2 people-$71 including tip-2 dishes and one appetizer, and soup. read more

Love love love Erawan. First I ordered a Thai Iced Tea. So Yummy. Then we had the satay app. 2 beef and 2 chicken with two nice side sauces. I ordered the Erawan steak which was cooked to perfection. Marinated and very tasty. Spicy side sauce which went well with my steak. I saved a little of my Thai Iced Tea for my "dessert" but the desserts did look good. My other dining partners enjoyed their dishes as well: Pad Thai and Curry. I didn't taste but it did look and smell yummy. Service was great. I will be back. read more

5 out of 5!!!!! This place is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in NY. From the service to the food - everything was absolutely perfect. We came for lunch on Christmas Eve because my sister raves about their Pla Sum Rod (crispy whole fried fish in a sweet spicy sour sauce). Let me tell you, if you go there and don't order this then don't go back unless you plan to! That fish has changed my life! I'm literally salivating writing this, and salivate anytime I talk about it. The fish itself is delicious and that sauce is the best sauce I've ever had. Now to mention the other items we got: Singha Beers - can never go wrong! This thai beer is light, and it doesn't make me feel bloated like most beers so definitely try it! Moo Ping// grilled marinated pork in honey and herbs - sounds exotic and tastes delicious. It's something you won't get at other Thai places. Tom Kha// Coconut broth soup - sweet and tangy, very savory. My dad loved it! kaeng-pa// red curry with veggies, and chili peppers - this is not a thick brothy curry. It's like chicken and veggies in soup. They warn you since it's a spiciness they can't really fix given the ingredients. I wish it did have some type of milk, because then it makes a milky thick curry over rice, but this was still yummy! We also got a mock duck dish - I think the Pad Pad Ruam, and it was DELICIOUS! I love the mock duck because they make it super flavorful and crispy. We also got a vegetarian fried rice, which was absolutely delicious and paired well with everything on the menu. I highly recommend this spot to anyone and everyone who wants good Thai food. read more

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant purely by chance: our daughter was going to an event in Bayside, and my husband and I decided to find a place for dinner while we were there. Thank goodness we discovered Erawan! The decor is beautiful in this restaurant, and the management and staff were super friendly and helpful. So the atmosphere was just really nice from the start. We started with drinks: wow, my lychee martini was perfectly made! For an appetizer, we shared spring rolls. They were crispy without being greasy, and had a great sauce for dipping. Then came the entrees: my husband got the Erawan steak, which was cooked to perfection. He ordered medium-rare, and I know that can be hard to get right (believe me, I struggle not to overcook it when I make steak at home!) and this steak was absolutely perfect. It was tender and flavorful, and came with two yummy dipping sauces. My pad see ew with beef was probably the best version of this dish I've ever had. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef, wide noodles with just the right texture, baby broccoli, all tossed in that delicious sauce. We decided to share a fried ice cream for dessert. Everyone needs to get this. The crunchy coating (that is set aflame when it arrives at your table!), the creamy ice cream inside, and it's accompanied by a yummy berry sauce. It was an incredibly generous touch, but this dessert was on the house. There's no Thai restaurant of this caliber around where we live on Long Island, and frankly this restaurant is better than places I've eaten in Manhattan. Best ribeye steak I've had in a while--at a fraction of the price I recently paid at a local steakhouse. I've been eating steak here for awhile but initially Erawan Thai Cuisine completely surprised me. You don't expect a Thai spot to deliver a steak like that, but it was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Their sauces are something special. They also have an excellent wine selection, which really sets them apart. The space is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere feels upscale, and the service is truly top notch. This is definitely not your typical local Thai restaurant--highly recommend. This is nowhere near a 3.8 restaurant. It is way above that in every aspect. If you look at their ratings on other sites you will see what more closely reflects the current Erawan. That I guarantee. New management since 2024 has renovated the place, renewed focus on customer service and maintained high food quality, using fresh ingredients and traditional Thai flavors. I've eaten at all of the local Thai spots as well as the over-hyped ones in other sections of Queens. Erawan is a standout. read more

We read the reviews about this place and decided to make the drive from Suffolk County to give it a try -- and I have to say, it was absolutely worth it! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and inviting. We ordered the Pad Krapow, which was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Spice level was perfect for me but they did mention spice level can be customized. We also tried the Erawan Steak with their signature sauce, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The steak was unbelievably good -- a great size, incredible quality, and an amazing value for the price. Overall, this is easily one of the nicest Thai restaurants I've been to. Overall the place, its food, and drinks emitted a cozy feeling. The presentation the dishes were decent but portions make me unhappy :(. Given the number of thai restaurants I've been to the place's portion to dollar ratio upset me and was unexpected. Such as their Puoyeong Chicken which was a small plate of chicken and sauce (plate having a radius of around 3in.) with no rice to accompany it. Quite pricey D; The chicken in addition to that was hard but still quite easy to swallow due to their idea of having tiny slices of it. Their pad thai is average and is probably most worth getting if coming here. And though their spring rolls look pretty the flour that they use makes them almost like fries.. :/ read more

I've been going to this place with my significant other, family and friends for years now. I have yet to have a bad experience at this place. The food is excellent. The drinks are good, especially their dirty vodka martini's, but just a bit overpriced. The staff seems cool. they do their job well and are receptive. The ambiance is mellow, good for dates or groups. This place is great if you want to take someone to dinner and then hit up some great bars on Bell blvd. right after. I love this restaurant but unfortunately it is not safe for celiacs. They have now made the menu gluten free although for years I went there and never got sick so I think they used to use different ingredients. I was thrilled to see they changed their menu and made it gluten free but I have eaten there twice since then and once the meal was gluten free and once it contained gluten (confirmed with a gluten tester) despite clearly ordering gluten free. I love the restaurant but I wish they would learn how to properly make food safe for people with allergies. read more

I've been here several times in the past years. They never disappoint. The food is always amazing and you really pay for the quality here. In 2007 my wife and I had our little wedding reception there. They made sure everything was right. Honestly I cant remember what I ate here but each time theres always a smile on my face when I leave and a HUGE FOOD BABY IN MY BELLY. Great Thai spot is here I love Beef salad (Yum Nuer) so good. Spring roll is really Thai style crispy and dense filling. So you can't miss the Baby back ribs that's awesome with tamarind sauce.
